Personality: James is the younger of the two Flamme brothers, and not only by the looks. Being laid back and having a great deal of confidence in himself and his brother, he can be quite hard to deal with. It's hard to distract him from something, unless it is threatening his brother. Speaking of this brother, he is quite attached to him... Since he spend most of his childhood with his brother rather than his parents, he can be quite protective of him.
This applies for battle as well as other things, like relationships. Girls should better be approved by Jamie, or else there will already be some tricks planned to let any relationship fail. The man who looks like a young boy can be quite the devil if needed.
Seeing as he was born as a Null rather than a Quincy, he has no 'Quincy Pride' to speak of, not caring much for the archers. The only thing he takes pride in are his enchantments and coatings.
Jamie isn't allways a smartass, though. He can have quite the philosophical moments, giving away that he is quite a bit older than he seems to be. He just doesn't like being serious. In fights, however, he will be, using a combination of quick shots and slashes with destructive enchantment-combinations.
The last thing to add is the accent. Hailing from germany, he has a hearable accent, though it isn't nearly as strong as the one of his brother. While he speaks english, german and japanese, he can have some troubles with english sometimes, unlike his older brother.

Appearance: Since Jamie stopped aging at 14 already, he is rather short and looks young. His body IS fully developed, though his voice still is quite a bit higher pitched than his brothers. A bit of aging would most likely take care of that, but the Null doesn't want to age any day.

Null Tool/Weapon: On the first view, it looks as if Jamies weapon would be a rather strange construction... but actually, only one part of it is his tool, the double-magazine inside the handle. What his weapon is? A gunblade - a shortsword with a slightly curved hilt, with a protector going over the fingers and a double trigger on it. These triggers are for the gun - two gun barrels are besides the blade on both sides, though they are not nearly as long as the blade itself, only about one third.
Upon use, the magazine is charged with Reiatsu, so that it can fire out bullets of energy. Using together with his enchantments, he can fire out elemental bullets with it, two at a time.
The weapon itself was created by his brother. Normally, Jamie carries it around in a suitcase so that it doesn't attract attention.

Purity Level of Reiatsu: Pure

Quincy/Null tools: 1 Black Heart, a customized Monolith - it looks more like a hoverboard then a normal platform and is often used as one -, and three flasks. The monolith is crimson red, like his blade.

Alchemy: Jamie can use all the basic enchantments, namely:

Brennender Stahl: A basic enchantment, the luqidified Reiatsu is used on a weapon made out of metal, or even bullets in a magazine by skilled users. Scorching hot flames engful the weapon, and a unskilled user can even burn himself. Though if used with care, the Null can withstand his own flames without taking damage.

Härtende Schicht: The first technique that is able to be used in permanent enchantments, this hardens the weapon up to a new level. Swords become sharper and harder to break, Quincy Weapons can withstand more energy before breaking, same to the weapons of a Null themselves. Without completely Pure class Reiatsu, however, the technique will run out eventually.

Zitteraal-Schicht: This coating of Reiatsu gives the weapon or object a shocking surprise. Giving of a constant current of electricity, this can be quite nasty, since it can cause numbness or even nerval damage in living things. This technique requires more control and is very difficult to be used to enchant something permanently.

His own unique skills:

Shockaktivierer: This is a special technique used when applying a new enchantment-coating to a weapon. The layer is dormant till activated by a certain shock of Reiatsu from the user, so a one time use enchantment can be carried around and used when needed.

Wortaktivierung: This is applied when applying an enchantment. Upon a word signal that is given to the customer, the coating get's activated. Useful for those that can't create Reiatsu-shocks, like Quincy or other Null.

Eiskalte Schicht: This coating cools down the weapon, giving it the ability to freeze solid matter upon touch. Used on blades, they become much sharper and more painfull, as small ice crystals now increase the sharpness. Also, those hit with such a weapon suffer small frostburns, but don't loose as much blood as usual. A give and take. Applying it permanently takes a long time to do.

Windschicht: Endows a weapon with wind ability. This increaes a bladed weapons reach with cutting winds, and increases the penetration power of bullets. This enchantment runs out rather quickly compared to others. It is not possible to endow a weapon permanently with this coating.

Wassersammler: This enchantment is not one to be used with weapons. Instead, once applied onto a bottle or something similliar, it will gather Reishi from the atmosphere and turn it into water, filling the bottle or similliar.

Berstende Legierung: Experimentive and dangerous to apply, weapons with this will break and are expensive for the customer. The coating on the weapon is made unstable, so that it doesn't sink into the weapon completely. Once activated, the coatings effect is shot out as a ball of energy of the used element. If used with Härtende Schicht, it will fire a white orb of blunt force. It is mostly used on one use items, such as small rods, or even pens.

Elementarer Sturm: This is a technique in experimentive status, dangerous to apply and even more dangerous to fight with. This basicially is a combination of elemental strengths in order to annihilate weaknesses - great sharpness and penetration power, burning the enemy in the process and freezing off the wound at the end, giving off even more pain. HOWEVER, if even ONE mistake is made while applying it, the weapon it is used on will be destroyed, and James will be drained of any Reiatsu he still has. Applying it normally takes him days, if not weeks. Buying one is expensive as hell.
With his gunblade, this is a finishing move of the extreme, shooting out a stream of mixed energies or slashing away with them, using the last of his Reiatsu and strength to deliver one crapton of damage, if it hits, that is. This should also not be mistaken for a ice, fire, hardened and wind bullet to be shot at the same time. These would annihilate one another.
The extreme shock on his right arm will most likely cause it to break. Since he is right handed, firing this off with his left would be an uncontrolled shot that would FOR SURE break his arm and not hit his target.

History/Background: James was born as the younger of two sons of a pair of Quincy. But unlike his parents, he wasn't a Quincy himself. He was an alchemist, having been hit by the Transmutation while he was still in his mothers womb. Being one of the first who was actually born as a Null, he had no single feeling of loss towards Quincy Powers, like some older members of the new race.
Most of his childhood, the young Null spend with his brother. Actually, he spend more time with him than with his parents, who where busy organizing the remaining normal Quincy to protect the Quincy refugee camp from Hollow attacks while the Null where still unable to fight.

While training, it soon became obvious that Jamie was bad at transmuting ANYTHING. He couldn't pull off even easy transmutations, but he had a certain affinity to add special abilities to his Reiatsu, quickly learning enchantment techniques other Nulls had developed, and even developing his own at the age of 14... And this was also an age that changed something. As he awakened to full Null powers, his body stopped aging. Till today, he claims to not now how to age further, though Nikilo has his doubts about that.
His potion brewing skills are low medium at best, leaving that kind of stuff mostly to his brother. He has the tendency to blow up everything he tries to mix by overdosing his liquid Reiatsu.

Soon after his 14th birthday, the traveling days began. Seeing all kinds of places, James never had the desire to come back to germany even once, quickly adapting to the traveling lifestyle. Though, after some time, both alchemists grew tired of it... and finally agreed into opening a shop specialized in alchemistic wares!
Nowadays, Jamie is the one who enchants all weapons in the shop Platin Herz in the outskirts of Karakura Town. These areas are often roamed by Hollow, Shinigami and powered humans alike, and all of them are welcomed in the shop - if they have the money. Jamie sometimes complains that he has to do most of the work, seeing as many customers don't want to buy new stuff, but rather want their own stuff enchanted.
Elemental rods are a new boom of sellings, however. Often they are out of stock.
