Hinashi turned and kicked back as soon as Shinji appeared behind her. She noticed him pulling the same maneuver twice already and it seemed to be his style. As she twisted her body, and kicked out with her foot, she noticed that she was right. Her foot missed her target as Shinji had already started his attack. She watched the dagger miss her side by less than an inch and almost fell to a second one right after the first. She jumped back and landed on her feet facing where Shinji had been, only to find that he was already on her with another strike. She dodged once more noticing a slight lag in her movement. The dagger missed her by a foot, but had she been a second late, she would of been cut. Inside of her, a small device activated. Instantly it started to channel her reiatsu at a faster rate, tripling her reiatsu output.



She formed a shield of compressed reiatsu and and managed to block his last few attacks before diving to the left. Behind her a circle appeared in the air, lightning crackling around it as the large snake of water curled up behind her, its mouth open wide, fangs bared. Above her, Shinji fired off three black blades toward her. "From the sky's above, cleansing light that envelops all in its embrace.Give final release in your strike. Be swift as the headsman's axe." She dodged left, barely avoiding his first crescent blade. Hado 58, THUNDER AXE. TENRAN" The roar of thunder ripped through the air as a pillar of lightning erupted from the white circle, In front of Hinashi, a whirlwind erupted from the tip of her zanpakuto, swirling with the pillar of lightning. Iit enveloped the two remaining blades, swallowing them whole as it headed toward where Shinji was floating. Behind him, pillars of water erupted from the drenched ground and the few remaining fire hydrants, hitting Shinji from the back, and his sides.

Shinji smiled, it had worked. When he had gotten close to the shinigami, his aura touched her, and he knew she would be seeing 3 Shinji's appear. Each would feel like a blow for real if they hit her, and Shinji knew how dangerous for her things just got. He raced after her, realizing what she was about to do. Oh. Frick. He barely had time to make a plan before the water came at him from the sides and behind. Well, she's right ahead... Meaning there's only one way to go! He smiled, as the attacks reached him. He switched places with one of the clones, and they all leapt straight up. Shinji saw the lightning hurricane thing coming after him, and he knew he only had a few choices how to react. However, he had been ready, having said an incantation before he leapt. He pointed his palm at the forces chasing him, all coming from the same direction: below.

"Not bad. But let's see how this works, eh? Hado 88: Hiryugekizokushintenraiho!"

Shinji's breath quickened a bit from the kido as it flew out, hitting the attacks head on. It cancelled them, dissapating both attacks. He smiled, turning towards Hinashi, the three Shinjis all smiling. It had to look creepy. He switched places with the clones again, and disappeared. The three of them appeared all around Hinashi, slashing at her with thier daggers. They were on all sides except behind her where the snake was. Each cut would have the pain of 3 and each cut would make her feel like giant weights had been attached to her limbs. Shinji would follow her if she tried to escape, striking with the blade. He moved quickly, slashing his blade rapidly.The three of them made a total of 10 lunges each, 12 slashes, and 5 jabs. That is a total of just 27 cuts that if were all hit would feel like being cut 81 times.

Then Shinji stopped, giving her a break suddenly. He began speaking another incantation, then pointed his pointer finger at her.

"Let's see how you get out of this one! Bakudo number 61, Rikujokoro!"

The six beams of light shot out, trying to slam them into Hinashi's midsection. If the attack worked, she would be unable to move, and have to surrender defeat. Shinji smiled, gathering energy in his right hand, a precaution in case things didn't work as planned...

Shinji smiled as he watched Hinashi's feeble
attempt to stop the clone with her jacket and ice. The jacket passed right
through it, most likely to Hinashi's surprise. The ice had little to no effect,
since the clone followed Shinji's actions and therefore unless Shinji himself
was hit with the ice it would have little effect. The same rules applied with
the jacket, allowing the clones to still move nimbly.





"I don't like doing this." He said,
waving his arm. "It reminds me too much of Aizen. However, the same laws
apply. You can't effect something THAT ISN'T THERE!" He raised his voice a
bit, preparing as he watched Hinashi begin lunging at him. He spun around in
the air, seeing that the claws were charged with electricity as they passed
right by his face, making his hair point straight on end. If he could have seen
himself in the mirror, he would have had a "What. In. The. World?"
Face. As it was, he could feel lots of tingling on his scalp from the
electricity the claws were emitting. As he spun he fired off a wave of black,
directly point-blank at Hinashi in this position. Then from the distraction
created he switched out with a clone, using the fact that she had touched his
aura again to activate the mix-up. The Shinji's were restored, and then Shinji
heard Hinashi begin to speak. The first few words didn't bother him very much,
since he really didn't care what she thought or care to be reminded of his time
with the Gotei 13, even if he had forgiven them. However, he did feel a small
twinge of anger that she would mock him to his face. He focused his reiatsu
into his hand again, hearing her mumble. Whatever she might have thought, she
was messing with a former Captain of Squad 5, and he darn well recognized an
incantation when he heard one. The three Shinji's were facing her now on one
side, Shinji acted quickly, focusing his reiatsu as he heard her mumbling
suddenly stop. As soon as he saw nothing happen with her, his mind instantly
processed.





Below! He pointed his hand at Hinashi, yelling:


"Bakudo number 72! Bukkaroshu!"


From Shinji's hand fired a black chain made of
reiatsu at high speed, directly at Hinashi's chest and stomach. It was
unaffected by the light due to the fact that it simply reflected off its shiny
black surface. It raced for Hinashi as she began her attack. The chain ran
around her in a circle, cutting off and then reconnecting on the other side of
her, controlled by the mind of the paralyzed Shinji. As he heard the thunder
and lightning, he knew things were about to get bad. Very bad and very fast. He
forced the chain to rotate, spinning, a great twirling black circle around
Hinashi. It got faster as the lightning and the thunder grew louder with
momentum. A small bead of sweat ran down the face of Shinji and his clones from
the effort of maintaining it. He suddenly felt more electricity entering his
body, and his and the three clone's hair stood straight up on end quite
comically. Shinji was thinking fast as this happened, and knew he would have to
act at exactly the right moment.





NOW!!!!! Shinji yelled in his mind as the pillars fell,
tightening the chains. They wrapped around the pillars, restraining them, held
together only be Shinji's reiatsu and his will. They stopped moving, having
stopped the pillars momentum out with its own. Shinji began sweating profusely
as the pillars exploded on the inside, and would have panted if he was able. His
body did begin shaking a bit, however, from the effort. Shinji held the chains
tight, fighting the pillars progression. As such, they did not move more than
10 feet away from Hinashi, 20 feet from Shinji himself. 20 seconds later he was
ready to hurl. After the charge within the rings stopped and Hinashi appeared
in the middle, not having a scratch. Shinji felt himself be released from the
light, and fell to one knee, looking at her through one eye. He was simply
catching his breath, ready to react if need be. He gulped, and stood up again,
ready.





"Well. That was quite a show. I've never seen
anything like that. Seems like you are quite proficeint in your kido… but. You
still have to get up earlier if you want to catch a former Captain of Squad 5.
We tend to know things that help us survive. Do not get me wrong. I applaud you
for that show, it was quite interesting. However, now it is my turn, and it
seems that there is truly no holds barred. You better be prepared…"





Shinji disappeared, reappearing on three sides of
Hinashi and running in. He swooped down, and all the Shinjis through down their
left foot and struck straight up. Shinji slashed down his dagger as he did so,
firing another wave. Then while in the air he pointed his free hand at Hinashi,
saying:


"Hado number 32: Sokatsui!"


From Shinji's hand fired a blue fireball aimed
directly for Hinashi. Meanwhile the clones landed on the ground the same time
as Shinji, and continued attacking. Shinji ran up, firing 2 more Sokatsui's
from his charged hand as he did so, right at Hinashi. He raced from behind (the
clones) and the front (Shinji) and slashed. If she tried to go up in the air,
Shinji would leap right up after her, slashing down as he did so. Then the
three Shinji's kicked out, like three blades coming from different sides. He
was panting, but he forged on. He burst forward, flash-stepping right next to
Hinashi, not even a foot away. He slashed with his dagger from the 3 different
sides, making movement difficult and proper defense challenging. Then all three
disappeared, and appeared to the south of Hinashi, in a line. They began spinning around, like a windmill.
So three spinning blades rushed at Hinashi at full speed, ramming right in. If
any of Shinji's cuts had hit Hinashi, she would feel 50 pounds added to her
limbs per strike. After that they stopped spinning and he flash-stepped away a
few feet, coughing up a small mouthful of blood from the rapid use. He stood up
straight, watching from all sides.





"You know, if you really want to trade insults,
tell me this: Who is the one dishonoring the Gotei? When I was there, you
talked smack like that you were either a 5th seat, member, or a quite rude and
generally disliked captain. So, please stop dishonoring yourself in the Gotei,
Orange Eel."





He called her Orange Eel for several reasons:
First was obviosly her orange hair. She fought with a water beast. She also
used electricity quite often. Plus the fact that the kunai she was using looked
like eels and were running with electricty was the absolute clincher for the
name. He knew it was electrically charged due to the fact that she was wearing
electric claws, liked using electricity, and the fact that Shinji had been able
to get close enough to feel his hairs standing on air. He dodged around the strings
as he had attacked as soon as he had felt his hairs reacting, but had still
forged on with his plan, simply becoming more cautious. He was prepared, and
knew not to underestimate his enemy. She had most likely used up most of her
energy in that attack, and Shinji had used up quite a bit of his stores as
well. He still had a fair amount left, be he knew he had to use it sparingly,
considering how fast he had gone through it so far. He decided to work on
sonserving what energy he had left.

Hinashi smiled as the dust cleared around her and she spotted Shinji kneeling to the ground a few feet away. She reached back and drew her Zanpakutō slowly, the shimmering blue steel glowing in the sunlight. "I hope your prepared as well Shinji, Cascade my love." She walked forward slowly while her Zanpakutō slowly changed shape. Four balls of water formed in the air next to her, each the size of a softball. Her zapakuto took on the form of a large double bladed sword that stretched to five feet. She sprinted forward to intercept the three shinji's, her blades flashing to guard her flesh from the small blades. The four orbs flew around her, catching blows that she could not, backed by the two chains swirling around. She was truly a whirlwind of destruction, but she was also outnumbered. She needed to even the odds, but how.

She jumped back and barley dodged the first ball of blue fired aimed at her. She tried to step back and almost tripped over a fire hydrant. "Fire hydrant......." she said with a confused look before realizing her good fortune. The four orbs swirled around her and encased her in a ball of water that slowly started to expand. She twirled her Zanpakutō and sliced the fire hydrant clean from the ground. Water gushed from the hole and was quickly absorbed by the growing sphere of water around her. She watched as two more bright blue balls of fire slammed into her shield, dissolving some of the water but the hole created was quickly filled. "If its truly no holds bared. My storm will cleanse this city. Bankai"

A bright light filled the area as Hinashi's form began to change. "Shoukan Kouryuu Ruujin." She said, the skys overhead growing dark as more of her energy was released. She smiled as the orb of water around her slowly changed into a large dragon made of water. It flew into the sky, revealing Hinashi's new form, her Zanpakutō growing to the full length of six feet, the silver and blue blade shimmering in the darkness created by the storm. 12 orbs of blue crystal swirled around her slowly. Around her the winds began to pick up, rain started to fall from the sky, thunder and lighting rolled across the clouds. The winds grew in strength slowly at first, but then started to gain in speed. Soon they reached a speed of 100 mph and debris flew around them.


Hinashi smiled as she sprinted forward. forward, the twelve blue orbs following behind her. With a single motion of her hand, the orbs shifted into spears about 5 feet long and slammed into the ground around Shinji, Instantly they exploded into a spiral of water, each stretching to a full width for five feet. As the spirals merged together, they formed a small waterspout that stretched up into the air. If Shinji was still trapped inside, he would be lifted into the air and carried off by the small tornado.

...Bankai, huh? He thought to himself, the vizard biting his lip with his large mouth as he watched her spin around and slice off the fire hydrant. Crap. She's a water user and just got more water. Looks like I'll have to step it up a notch… Guess it's finally time. Shinji Hirako determined as he and his two clones both stretched out their hands, gripping their daggers tighter.

All three of their eyes widened at the dragon; that was most certainly NOT something that he had been expecting. Reminds me very much of that Hitsuguya lad, it does. Shinji thought to himself, as he looked down at the blade he was using. It was steadily becoming darker; the edges of the blade black and the inside of the blade a light pink.

He stood his ground as he watched Hinashi burst towards him, throwing her spears at the ground around his feet. Uh-oh. He thought as he threw a single hand up his hands to his face. The spears all became swirls, and they all joined together, before Shinji felt himself become soaking wet. Then he felt himself shoot up, as he pulled down at his hairline, throwing both hands to his sides.

As he did so, the whirlpool… stopped. Or, to be more graphically accurate, it exploded. The raw energy that was released disturbed the flow of water, as a HUGE, at least twenty-five feet in size, slash of the pink-black outlined wave of energy flew down at Hinashi below. She want's to get serious? He reflected to himself as he increased his grip on his blade, smiling behind his newly-formed mask. It's time to get serious.

He vanished, his shunpo echoing across the field as he appeared directly in front of Hinashi. However, in reality, it was all three of the Shinji Hirako's that were standing in front of the Vice-Captain at this time. The one in the middle was pointing his hand out at Hinashi; the other two were taking steps forwards. Out of Shinji's hand fired a cero, pink in color and 5 feet in radius as he sent it directly at Hinashi. Most likely, from this range, it would slam into her, throwing her back.

However, that wasn't all Shinji did; right behind the attack, the three Shinji's shot out after her. With whirls and jabs among all three, he performed thirty whirling slashes. He was going all out at this point, holding back nothing as all of his considerable skill pressed down on Hinashi. As he finished the slashes, Shinji leaped back, holding a finger to his side. Then, he brought it right up, pointing it directly at Hinashi.

"Hadō NUMBER FOUR, BYAKURAI!"

He cried out, finishing his extremely-quiet whispered incantation that he had been saying during his attacks. The bolt of lightning, at least two feet in width, fired out, aimed directly for the center of Hinashi's chest…
