Seaside Wisdom [Van/Vi/Lil]

Violet was gonna let it go, so her eyes widened in surprise when she saw that he was willing to just be in a bathing suit too. She stuck her soda in the sand, wiggling it as she pushed it down so the sand would hold it up. With a bright smile, she removed her hoodie and slid out of the shorts that she was wearing to just be in her bikini. She didn’t take the hat off though. That was staying no matter what!

Violet was not as gentle with her hoodie. She just let it and her shorts fall to the towel as she stood up. It took her brain a moment to realize what Vanyel said. "Y-You like it?" Violet asked, a red tint on her cheeks as she looked down at herself. "Thank you, but I think you look... hot... in yours..." Violet meant it completely, but she couldn't admit that his focal point was more his strong arms and chiseled chest... It was just... like that. Besides, it made her blush deepened.

"Wanna swim?" she asked sheepishly, holding a hand out.

That seemed to be the push she needed. Vanyel found himself returning the sentiment of Violet's beaming smile as she quickly wriggled out of her hoodie and shorts, leaving them both in their respective swimsuits. As Violet asked if he liked it, Vanyel shyly nodded in response, both of them looking near sunburnt with how red their faces were getting, something that only got worse at Violet's compliment, causing his lips to part briefly.

But, rather than respond to that, Vanyel just reached out to take her hand, getting his feet, and nodding. He...hadn't expected someone to compliment him like that. Most of the time, he wouldn't have paid it much mind, but, with Vi, it felt...genuine. Special. It made him feel nice. So, taking her hand, Vanyel was quick to wrest control of the situation as he playfully pulled Violet by the arm out toward the water.

He could feel the stares of other beachgoers at his back. No doubt they were whispering and gossiping about such an elaborate, loud tattoo, but, even if there were some who knew what it represented, Vanyel didn't care. He wanted to have fun at the beach with Vi, and damn it, that was what he was going to do.
