Stella thought about it as she wasn't entirely familiar with the details. However she did know what they were to each other. The gotei was like the Vandenreich but for the shinigami in the Soul Sociery. Stella did have a few curiosities about how the soul society was in comparison to the world of the living. Were they much more advanced than what Stella thought, or would they be even farther behind?
"I believe they're like the vandenreich but for Shinigami. Like that's where most of the shinigami live or are affiliated I guess. Why?"
Stella was curious as to why the other quincy wanted to know? Was she planning on leading some invasion of the Soul Society? Ha like that could ever happen.

"I was simply curious as to what the Gotei was because I had never heard of that organization before you mentioned it." Diana replied calmly and with no sarcasm in her voice whatsoever. Stella had asked a valid question that deserved an honest answer and Diana had given one. Now the blonde decided to elaborate a little on why she had asked the question to begin with.
"I knew that Shinigami existed, but that was about all I knew about them. I did not know whether they were solitary in nature or whether they organized in any way. I assumed that they lived and worked alone, but thanks to you I now know that my assumptions were wrong and that they have an organization they are part of." Diana told the other Quincy about the preconceived notions she had held about the Shinigami race before today, namely that its members worked and lived alone. Speaking to Stella had told her quite a bit about them... while she had set out to learn about the Vandenreich, learning about another race was not an opportunity she would turn down. Being warned about the "green-haired Shinigami" had increased Diana's interest in that type of being because the blonde wanted to know what they could do in case she ran into any more who wanted to do her harm. She was not going to assume that the person who had attacked Stella and her companions was the only one of her kind who acted that way. However, that did not mean that Diana was going to use that as a pretext to declare open season on all Shinigami.
"I have no problem with Shinigami and have no interest in fighting them unless they attack me first." Diana added that she was inclined to live and let live unless they decided to start an unprovoked fight. She had behaved that way towards anyone of any race ever since leaving home for the first time over four years ago. The sole exception to that policy was Hollows... she could not stand the thought of them and barring some major revelation that completely changed her view of that type of being that intense loathing would never change.

"I've never been attacked by a shinigami that's associated with the gotei. From what I understand, they have to wear their black Shuhakusho. So, the ones who are wearing normal civilian clothes they aren't associated with the actual gotei itself."
Stella felt like she needed to warn Diana about the demon she had ran into. That shinigami who wasn't associated with the gotei. The ones that she had the unfortunate circumstance of running into. She had killed people that Stella thought of as friends.
"There's a shinigami that isn't associated. She attacks quincy just for existing. Just be careful, okay?"

Listening to Stella informed Diana that Shinigami who were part of the Gotei sported a distinctive black outfit. That was yet another fact about that race the blonde did not know before today and an easy way to tell Shinigami who were "friendly" apart from the one who had attacked Stella and her companions. The blonde Quincy's mind wandered to the topic of the renegade for a moment as she wondered what the redhead and her companions had done to be the targets of such violence. Further listening rewarded Diana with a motive; the independent Shinigami seemed to exhibit a considerable degree of animosity towards Quincies, which was reason enough for the blonde to keep an eye out for the individual wherever she traveled from here on out.
"I will do my best to be vigilant and watch out for the person you warned me about." Diana calmly replied to Stella's request. Right now she highly doubted that she was strong enough to fight the Shinigami on anything approaching equal terms, so her best defense would be to avoid contact if at all possible. If for some reason a fight could not be avoided she would use Altes Gewehr to attack their legs from afar in an effort to slow her opponent down enough to potentially leave them more susceptible to follow-up shots aimed at other vital areas like the arms, shoulders, or torso. However, as an old saying went, "No plan survives contact with the enemy." Diana had never fought another person before, so going up against an opponent with human intelligence would be a considerable challenge because there was no predicting what they might do.
After saying that Diana paused to give Stella a chance to speak and to think about everything she had been told up to this point. The existence of a renegade Shinigami who hated Quincies would certainly make travel in other regions of the world more dangerous because there was no predicting where the individual might pop up, but that was not all the blonde had to consider. She was also considering accelerating her plans to get training so that she had a slightly better fighting chance against the Shinigami if she ever met the latter.

Stella nodded as she didn't want to keep taking up the blondes time. She stands up gently as she gives the woman a quick nod before she begins to make her way out of the restaurant. The rain had lightened up significantly so she had decided it would be a good time to take her leave. Making her way to the door she'd look over her shoulder as her hands made contact with the cool metal. Letting that feeling sink in she spoke.
"Thank you for the talk Diana. It was nice to meet you, and hopefully next time we meet. I'll be in higher spirits."
She spoke as she pushed against the door gently. Stsrting to head out into the streets that had slowed down from earlier. The city was still moving, but as the time was shifting into the night time there was a lull in activity.

Stella's words and actions indicated that the conversation was drawing to a close, but Diana was not upset. The time she had spent here was well spent because she had learned more about the Vandenreich and the Shinigami. She had also received a welcome warning about a rogue Shinigami who intensely disliked Quincies for reasons known only to them.
"It was nice to meet you too, Stella. Hopefully we will meet again one day." Diana said to her fellow Quincy before standing up and gently pushing her chair back in. With the way the blonde's voice sounded it might sound like she had doled out empty platitudes or stock phrases, but the sentiment behind them was real. The meeting with Stella really had been a pleasant one and Diana did not hold the redhead's mood against her considering what the latter had went through. Besides, Diana had no right to criticize anyone considering how she behaved; in the past some people had considered her calm behavior and voice to be more than a little creepy.
After taking a few moments to smooth out her shirttail and the front of her shorts Diana left the building and went out into the streets to head towards the gates. She needed to get going back to Tokyo because tomorrow she would have to catch a flight back to America and the plane was not going to wait on her. Maybe one day she could save enough money so that on her next visit to Japan she could afford to spend than three days in the country.
