She's One of Them! [Arianda/Sora]

Even if today had been a relatively reasonable day for Arianda, the demon wasn’t exactly wanting to interrupt her little solo trip to Tokyo. Unfortunately, some hollow had a different idea. The entire time, she really had tried to keep the damage down to the minimum; especially because she was trying to restrain the hollow so she could get Saiko or maybe a nearer Shinigami to purify it. However, in the process she was forced to kill a couple of hollow; something that made the demon very irritated. She groaned gently every time any building was damaged slightly, and ended up killing the first two hollows before she tackled the final hollow outside of the city and into the nearby forest. This would make it easier, much easier. Arianda could cut loose a bit more. Turning her giant pair of scissors into a pair of gauntlets that she used to block attacks, throw devastating haymakers, and essentially stall as much time as possible until she could sense a Shinigami.

Frankly speaking, she was toying with the hollow. Most hollow who came to Earth weren’t exactly all that difficult. There were a few, but most tended to be cannon fodder. This one, whole undeniably strong, was no match for Arianda. She ducked, dodged, weaved, and then delivered a quick salvo of punches before throwing an uppercut a bit too similar to a “Shoryuken”; knocking the hollow off balance. At that same moment, she finally felt the presence of a Shinigami. Weak, perhaps, but a Shinigami nonetheless. Arianda jumped up and delivered a headbutt to the hollow’s head; forcing it down to the ground. From there, she landed on it’s back gracefully, yanked it’s arms behind it’s back, and managed to pin it down with just her strength and force of will alone; exerting her influence over the hollow just enough to keep it from struggling too much. Then, she looked over towards the presence, shouting towards them.

“Hey! You! Shinigami! Yes, you! Mind getting over here and purifying this hollow? Please!”

Either this Shinigami was a bit slow, or he thought he was far stealthier than he actually was. In any case, Arianda was glad for his help in exterminating the hollow. An effective strike, clean through the mask. Arianda smiled some as she floated gently onto the ground, her feet touching easily as she shook her clawed gauntlets off carelessly. They weren't bloody, but bits of hollow still evaporated off them. She gave the man before her a brilliant smile, putting her arms behind her head; still grinning at him.

"Thanks~! I wish I coulda gotten you to purify the other two, but they were making a huge mess of the town... Just two should be okay though..."

Arianda gave a small shrug, the influence she had over the hollow fading swiftly once it had fully disappeared. However, she kept her gauntlets on, wary... untrusting. Despite that, she still offered a bubbly nature. Whatever Sora might think she was, it was obvious she wasn't any of the races he may be familiar with; which left very few options. Arianda let out a tiny hum, looking around a bit to make absolutely certain that there were no more hollows in the immediate area. She gave Sora one more smile before she tilted her head at what he said, and how he spoke.

A stutter? Was he okay? Did he have a speech impediment? Maybe he was nervous around people he just met? Or could it be her energy was scaring him? Either way, with Arianda carefully gauging the measure of her demonic energy just in case, she gave Sora another smile and shrugged.

"It's no problem~ Gotta do what I can, you know? I'm Arianda, by the way. And, um... Are you okay? You seem a little nervous..."

"Oh, good! Thanks for that~"

Another warm smile, during which Arianda quietly noted to herself how nervous this man, Sora was his name, was. Either he had a bad time around women or he knew that Arianda was a demon and was waiting for something horrible to happen. However, Arianda decided it was best to just leave things be before she smiled some and shrugged, giving Sora another smile. Indeed, she didn't need an escort back to town... but safety in numbers and all that! A charming nod, and an extended hand, as if an offer to shake Sora's hand.

"Nice to meet you~ And that sounds like a great idea, Sora~ For both of our sakes, eh? It's a lot easier to take hollow down with more numbers."

Arianda nodded in approval of his plan once again and took the lead, likely on accident, as she moved back towards Tokyo; and to the damaged street. Looking around, the demon used a couple of well placed spells, which were only signaled by a surprisingly loud snap, to repair the damage to the road. However, the demon knew she would need to come up with some Yen to pay for the damage to the street; even if she wasn't the one who destroyed it. Afterwards, Arianda looked at Sora after a time, smiling gently.

"So, what brings you here to Tokyo aside from the hollows? Got any fun plans for the night or naw~?"

Scary? Please, women were the least of his worries. If Sora had met any female demon, like Mana for example, that wasn't as tame as Ari, he would have found human women like a walk in the park. She chuckled somewhat, feeling his fear of the situation but didn't comment on it. While they walked, Arianda listened to Sora intently, her cloak billowing gently as she walked. Not to mention, she had clapped her hands together and melded them into what seemed like a giant pair of scissors. With a quick spin, they turned into a normal sized, if not rather wicked looking, pair of scissors that she put in a sheath and then stored in a pocket. Looking back at Sora, she gave him another smile before turning forward to look on the path back to the body of Tokyo. And, indeed, Ari's hand was very soft.

"Nothing much, really. I wanted to come to Tokyo to relax a bit, maybe find something to give to a couple of friends of mine when I saw them next; otherwise, I was just trying to enjoy myself before those hollow came along."

Arianda shrugged gently, plodding along until they were finally within the body of Tokyo again, the murmur of the streets, the sounds of thousands of pounding footsteps... and the occasional Japanese yells here and there. She smiled some, giving Sora a kind pat on the shoulder before she gestured to the city at large.

"Wanna walk and talk a little bit? Maybe we could find someplace to get a bite to eat~ Just try not to get scared okay~?"

"That's alright, I can pay~ C'mon~! It's just to thank you for taking care of the other hollows, relax!"

Arianda grinned, gesturing for Sora to follow her. From there, if he was unwilling to follow, Ari would gladly take hold of his arm and pull himself along; all just to get food with Sora.

The demon hummed pleasantly as she either had Sora following behind her, or was dragging him by the arm, selecting what appeared to be a rather popular restaurant; and potentially expensive too. Upon entrance, Arianda immediately displayed a rather keen understanding of Japanese culture, and also was wholly fluent. Even if Sora was terrified by women, this likely would be impressive enough; especially considering how easily Ari modulated her accent to be more Japanese in nature. After they had been seated, in a lone booth for just the two of them. Arianda looked at Sora, smiling pityingly at the man before her.

"You're absolutely terrified of women, aren't you? You stiffened up like a board every time I looked at you. Not to mention, I don't think you've looked me in the eye once... I suppose it's fair, women can be kind of scary."

Arianda smiled carefully. She wasn't teasing the man, shit she wasn't even mocking him; she seemed to have some genuine concern for him over this issue. However, she couldn't help but feel a twinge of sympathy for the man, along with an urge to laugh. Frankly speaking, he was a good looking man. And to be scared of women? Talk about a horrible combo. He must have women line up for him and then can't talk to them. Unfortunately for him, classic excuses don't work on a demon.
