Name: Jeffrey Sugiura

Age: Roughly in the mid-70’s, although he looks as young (even as short) as Yachiru.

Gender: Male

Personality: Jeffrey was the kind who would brave the challenges when his fellowmen would cowered. Despite being unable to use Kido yet, he substituted it with some Sugiura magic taught by his mother, Baiseirei Sugiura. Though the instructors would suspect him of rushing in without thinking other than, “Spell first, melee last,” the half-pint Sugiura was surprisingly obedient due to frequent visits from his eldest brother from the Third Division. What else Baiseirei left for him? He is likely to flirt with more female trainees and other female shinigami who are a lot older than he is, except for during combat; he sets that aside and retaliate with a fury that would remind some individuals of Baiseirei when she is very...well...”upset” would be an understatement at this point.

Appearance
He is quite short for a Shinigami; in fact it is his true height, the height of a child and always will be that tall when he gets older. He does bear some resemblances to the Sugiura, Baiseirei. Dark skin, blue mirrored eyes, and goofy grin as if he knows everything would eventually come out alright. He still wears the uniform of a shinigami out of regulations, but often times, his shirt was loose enough that they come off easily since he needed some flexibility with his zanpakuto and spells. Unusual for a trainee, Jeffrey’s zanpakuto resembled a Tachi, or a Japanese two-handed ancestor of the Katana that was primarily used for horseback combat.

Brief History: Jeffrey is born as a half-breed Sugiura with the mother being the Sugiura and his father being a formidable Shinigami. For years, he was raised by his mother and his aunt, Queen Misaiko Sugiura with his father’s occasional visits. However later on, the father did not visit anymore and his mother received news from a Shinigami that her boyfriend was killed in action by a Hollow. Upon hearing the news, Jeffrey was enraged as his mother’s rage appeared in his blood. He nearly went feral before his aunt stopped him. He grew and was soon old enough to be admitted into the Gotei 13’s Shinigami Academy. Through his five years in there, his brothers and sister, all are already in Gotei 13, visited him on occasions for the purpose of helping him with his Kido lessons. In the end, Jeffrey was unable to use Kidou other than the basic healing kido; all he has for offensive attacks are his sealed zanpakuto and a basic lightning bolt attack.

Basic Powers:
Bolt: Taught by Baiseirei, this basic power allows Jeffrey to clash his reishi, causing an energetic explosion, then converged the explosion into a single, small beam of electrical hazard. It is not as powerful as Baiseirei’s infamous Lightning Bolt spell, but it does the job when it comes to lessening the odds between him and lesser Hollows.

Cure: Taught from his second eldest brother (who works as fourth division healer), Jeffrey is capable of restoring lost reishi within himself or other of his fellow Shinigami. Though it does not compete well with the healers from the Fourth Division, it works when he needed to keep himself and his team alive a little longer.
