A black ichor-like portal opened in the living world as a figure emerged. Astaroth's white hair and pale complexion made him appear dead. This crater once belonged to the Organization Monsuta. Bodies were unlikely to be found in this location, but a mark was. When loss of life is drastic or otherwise potent, a way to open a Hell Gate emerges. Astaroth could easily open one here if he desired. But that would invite needless complications for his desires. He wished for a place he could call home and build a lab to begin experiments.
Astaroth's partner sat perched on his shoulder, its eyes examining the crater. Some signs of construction had taken place here. But they'd not been completed or were left abandoned. He could begin summoning hordes of undead now if he desired to do so. Indeed enough potency to do so in this location. But one doesn't simply emerge in someone's home without introductions. He wondered if any people existed in this place.
Astaroth found himself a rock and sat upon it and decided to give someone some time. If they wished to try and tell him to go elsewhere, that was fine. His undead hordes and he could easily set up home anywhere. His hand came to pet Tobias along the side of the head as he waited. Would his experiments be a legal thing in the sense of human law? No, it was unlikely, though he wondered if such a thing existed. He could wield Death Energy and make the area his own. And if it came to blows, Astaroth was formidable and could fight. He would have instead not done so if he could help the fact.
Demonic beings were still poorly looked upon here. But none the less creating a lab in the central city was out of the question. His creations tended to need a wide-open space to roam. People being nearby was just a hindrance to his knowledge and experimentation of scientific progress. Astaroth played with the rings on his fingers, clicking them together. What new wonders would his eyes behold this time around?
The old home of an organization looked poorly upon by most factions and organizations. That the last leader decided nobody could have it. Such was the way of beings in this world. Choices had to be made, and Madra and he both were very aware of that. His desire for a perfect Corpse companion or beyond that for knowledge. It was a desire that couldn't be satisfied in the world of Demons. Mana was distant, and Algos was his niece and one he treasured.
So this place would act as his neutral home, a location where he could begin building and experimenting. Ceasing his endless running around and trying to find some semblance of home. He had plans in mind using magic and other techniques to make this place. He'd had plenty of time to dream of his house and how to build it. His lips tugged upwards, forming a smile as he watched Tobias move along his shoulder to his hands.
