Daydreams and Nightmares

Recent adoption into a minor noble house, it helped if only a little. The nightmares didn't go away in the end. His skills were sharp and used to teach younger people. But what it came down to truthfully. Was that he didn't know if they were ready for another Zefonse. They didn't have a Captain who was able to match that man. That measuring stick bothered him.

Even if he remained unseated his current strength was woefully lacking. It didn't come close to the needed amount to protect the youngsters. Though some of them were his age, they'd not seen hell. Or encountered one like Zefonse before.

So the only choice ahead was to get stronger to try things and increase his power. He didn't know what could be done to get past the wall he'd encountered. Only one way was available to him. Perfect his Bankai or push further down the hollow road and combine his powers even more.

His hollow and Zanpakuto got along well nowadays, mostly due to a lot of effort on his part. Many things changed and developed into what refined. He had no clues or ideas striking him outside of those two.

He was asked to introduce himself to the Shihouin family, he didn't know why frankly. But the elders requested it and telling those three women no. That was only bound to lead to arguments in society. Rubbing the back of his neck he considered things.

This was not what someone aiming to be the greatest Kenpachi normally did. But it didn't matter, his goal remained and he had a duty to perform as a Kobayashi. Like a Crow, this duty didn't even happen.

But they weren't important to the Society or the world not even remotely. That family was a forgotten era but none the less he stood at the gate. He'd sent a letter on ahead and so had his elders.

Though he was clueless about what was written in that letter it was just a formal introduction.
