KING OF VASTIME
The old sea-dog seemed to grit his teeth as the force of chaos entering into his sheep, it was an unpleasant feeling but with the eye of his majesty faithfully on them- he would endear. But soon enough the feeling would subside as Mana had her chaotic fun, but the admiral would listen to the conversation as the guns awaited his mark. It was simple target practice but with that being said, it would only be met with silence as for a moment before Mana could respond a sizable shift in the aura was felt.
Almost if by divine intervention the world seemed to shiver for a moment as a tearing sound was heard on the deck of the ship. Stepping from the black void would be a man who rarely was seen aboard a navy ship- and one would recognize immediately it. It was the Vastimian King himself making himself known as the astmosphere on the ship shifted dramatically from one of chaos to one of order and law. As if by stepping foot his own will was being asserted over his homelands.
In some ways, the look on the King's face was unpleasant but not entirely so. His lips tug slightly into a smile as he overlooked the deck. He'd tilt his shining verdant irises at the scene wordlessly, before the Admiral backed away beginning to bellow orders to the ships. They where unimportant but with a single wave of the hand Hayden had set them at ease. He'd begin to approach the presence of Mana and the girl.
"This explains the gnawing feeling I felt in the capital; amusing yourself at the expense of Vastime?" His words where idle, but focused on Mana. Only briefly he'd look at the girl, but by her being a soldier of Vastime she would feel a wave of empowerment from her king's presence- that despite the gravity of the situation: Everything will be ok.
He was order, he was law, and he was Vastime incarnate. And it seemed that this gathering had invoked his royal gaze.
"I think the last time I saw you soldier was at your graduation, what was your name?" He'd look to the girl, she may not have known it but the king typically attended the graduation of new recruits. She would feel from him concern for her being, but most importantly she may feel a sense of calm in his words and actions. He had not come here to fight, but if he had to he would defend this little ship and his navy.
