Tyrant Hunger [Approved 3-4; Arrancar]
Sat Jun 09, 2018 5:32 am
Probably needs a bit more work so whatever needs working on tell me.
» Name: Tyrant Hunger
» Age: 2500
» Gender: Female
» Association: Tyrant Hunger does not have any associated organizations as of this moment, though it might be open for change.
» Appearance Written: In contrast to Tyrant Hunger's previous appearance, one of a terrifying mixture of hate, Hollow, and dinosaur, her appearance seems to be tamer. As an Arrancar, Tyrant looks like a female human around 14 years of age. She stands at a height of 5'1” and she often looks lost and confused. She could be considered cute by onlookers and is often compared to a doll, given her small stature and fair skin. She has long white hair that reaches up to her knees. Gleaming red eyes adorn her face and are sometimes filled with murder. The remains of her mask decorate the upper left edge of her face. Framing the edge with the remnants of her mask. It encroaches onto her face a bit, almost starting to cover her eyes. The only thing that Tyrant has to wear is a military uniform she seems to be attached too. Conveniently it covers her hole, located just below her chest.

» Personality: Old Personality: Tyrant Hunger doesn't have enough consciousness in it to have a moral stance. It is not evil, nor is it not good, it just is. However, it feels hunger more than any Hollow and it's hunger is what drives it to destroy and feed. Ultimately, it's main driving forces, and how it makes its decisions, are it's hunger and instinct. In many ways, it can be considered to be the most honest creature, simply by the virtue of not needing to lie and not having anything to lie about. It has no need to manipulate others and often prefers simple solutions to problems that confront it. It's also not the very smart and can be lured and tricked by those smarter than it.
New Personality: Much has changed with Tyrant Hunger with its progression into being an Arrancar. She now has the mannerisms of a child, no longer being a mindless vessel of hunger. Having actual intelligence but having very little experience with being intelligent, she's become curious and indecisive. The predatory instinct she had before lingers but is not as apparent and it retains its preference for simple solutions.
» History: There is no feeling more terrifying than hunger, and Tyrant Hunger hungers forever. Throughout all it's years of existence, Tyrant Hunger had never wondered what manner of being he was for it never had the chance to. From the very moment that Tyrant Hunger first came to being, a time where it was still of manageable size, it was already a slave to it's unending hunger.
It started out as pest of a city. It's hunger drove it to attack, eat, travel, sleep, and repeat. Tyrant Hunger was the cause of many unexplained disappearances, attacking human stragglers at first. In the beginning it was able to control itself, but for each time the hunger was ignored it returned stronger and harder to ignore and sate. Then it moved on to attacking groups far away from other people, increasing the number if disappearances and soon people were on guard. Tyrant taught itself to hide when there were too many people on guard, only attacking people that wandered too close to its lair.
The cycle continued for a year. It would go out and feed, they would be on guard, it would hide and wait, they would drop their guard, and it would repeat.
Then a small girl wandered into its lair. For the first time, Tyrant Hunger could not bring itself to eat the young child. It tried to scare it away but she only thought that it was playing with her. It managed to forced her out of its lair but she returned the next day. And then the next, and then the next, and then the next. The small girl became a regular visitor of Tyrant Hunger's lair. A new cycle had been added, the girl would come, it would make its displeasure known and try to convey that she wasn't welcome, the girl would ignore that and bother it before leaving and repeating again.
Tyrant Hunger soon gave up and let the girl be. She wasn't hurting it, she was just there.
But then one day the girl didn't come. At first it was indifferent, but it had grown so used to her presence that it grew restless as the days passed. Finally she visited again, but she looked sickly. She told it that she had contracted some sickness and it was slowly killing her. She had been told that her last moments would be filled with pain and agony as parts of her stopped working and began to die from the inside.
She knew that it was the one that had caused people to disappear and asked for it to do the same to her, if only to spare her of the pain. Tyrant Hunger found that it could not say no to her and slowly began to raise it's huge arm. A moment passed between the two before the arm swung down and turned her into a smear on the floor of its lair. The other arm reached out and grabbed her spirit before dragging it to it's waiting maw.
At that moment, Tyrant Hunger felt something other than eternal hunger. It felt a flash of sadness that faded quickly. It retreated back to Hueco Mundo and buried itself beneath the sands, falling asleep once it was completely buried. Recent times have shown it becoming more active than before. Attacking anything it could to feed its hunger. Eventually it attacked Minatumu Harbor and was repelled, prompting a hasty retreat. Some time later one of the ones that repelled it managed to find, feed and empower Tyrant Hunger into its evolution.

IV. Equipment
» Equipment: [If your hollow has any equipment? Put it here. If they don't, skip this section.]
V. Racial Techniques/Abilities/Skills
» Racial Abilities:
- Abnormal Fortification: Tyrant Hunger's age, devoured souls, and evolution has turned its Abnormal Resistance into Abnormal Fortification. She is able to partially shrug off negative nondamaging effects using her spiritual energy, causing them to be less effective as they should be. However while doing so weakens her attacks. She can also overload Abnormal Fortification to undo an effect already affecting her but doing so makes her unable to move. This effect also works on her attacks.
- Razing Cero Buster: Tyrant Hunger doesn't have a much experience with using her Ceros, but that is made up for by her only Cero's overwhelming force. Tyrant's Razing Cero Buster is a tiny pitch black marble of energy that forms in her hand. She can fire it as is or hold it back, allowing it to charge, slowly increasing its power over time and giving it the potential to be a devastating wide area attack. The impact area of the attack is completely obliterated, leaving no trace of it and deals heavy damage to whoever is unlucky enough to be in range. This is more effective against Hollows and other Arrancar.
- Riftwalker: Tyrant Hunger's ability to open Gargantas for transportation remains one of her most used abilities and is combined with her Sonido. Owing to her now smaller size she can now open Gargantas without delay. More importantly she can litter an entire area with small Gargantas that only she can go through and she moves faster whenever exiting a Garganta. Combined with her Sonido, she can set up chains of Gargantas to move through, using it to confuse, set up an attack, or just move around.
- Sudden Impact: Using her Sonido, she can make an attack she's making suddenly speed up and catch something off guard. Inversely she can also use it to abruptly stop an attack she's making.
- Empty Pesquisa: Rather than sensing some thing's energy to determine where it is. Tyrant's Pesquisa instead detects where that energy isn't in order to determine location. Furthermore it is also able to detect where it isn't going to be.
VI. Sealed Powers
» Zanpakutô Name: Tirana
» Zanpakutô Appearance:
» Unique Power:The unending hunger had left a mark on Tyrant Hunger. For most of its life as a Hollow, it was the only thing it could feel. The only thing that drove its existence. It was the closest thing that Tyrant Hunger had to having a personality, dictating how it acted, what it did, and more. Tirana gets it abilities from that demanding hunger. Representing the shadow that loomed over Tyrant Hunger all their life(?), this blade has the ability to consume material and energy that it touches to empower itself and it's wielder.
VII. Resurrección
» Resereccion Name: Grandiosa Tirana
» Resereccion Release Phrase: Amenaza, Tirana.
» Resereccion Appearance: The Resereccion has one significant change for Tyrant Hunger, it causes her physical appearance to age and grow, giving her the form of an adult woman.
» Resereccion Abilities:
- Starving Blade: The sword seeks to be fed when swung. When Tyrant Hunger swings her sword it forces her to adjust her strike to achieve the best outcome for the attack. This gives Tyrant Hunger the ability to use the sword properly rather than swinging it around like a sharpened club. However this doesn't mean mastery of swordplay, the adjusted attacks are prone to be direct, taking the shortest route it can. This often leads to attacking into a block or a feint. Tyrant Hunger can also use Starving Blade to attack other attacks that make use of energy and have the blade feast on it.
- Razing Cero Barrage: A higher powered version of Razing Cero Buster. Unlike its lower powered version, this attack takes the form of tiny colorless marbles that form in her hands and in the space around her. Each marble is capable of being charged just like Razing Cero Buster. This attack is more effective against Hollows and Arrancar.
- Annihilation Order: Tyrant Hunger takes Tirana in both hands and begins to pump it full of spiritual energy, causing it to become a colossal building sized blade of black steel. In this form the sword resembles more like a club made of nothing but swords jutting out in awkward angles. Tyrant Hunger swings the massive blade into an area and causes massive destruction on impact. Matter, energy and sould that the blade touches are absorbed and made into more blades, causing Tirana to grow more in size and area of effect.

- Spoiler:
A small group of five men had come to her client’s manor, seeking out his precious items and hoping for some monetary gain. This group In particular was inexperienced when it came to actually checking their targets. That and it could be considered that they too greedy and impatient to double check since all they had in mind was robbing the house and doing it as fast as possible. The thieves all wore light clothing and were all male. The only thing differentiating them was their hairstyles and colours, or in the case of one, the lack of hair. They stationed themselves in the woods near the mansion and waited for the perfect time when they were sure that the man they were planning to rob from was out of the house. They didn’t worry about the defences and the staff since they had been planning this for weeks. They mobilized, separating into five one man cells to cover more of the area and in turn steal even more. With a calm silence, the five men moved into their areas, unknown to them that Margaret had spotted one of them enter the manor from her vantage point in the sky.
Margaret sighed in exasperation as she spotted a suspicious individual come in. So much for having a calm job, then, time to get to work. She gently floated downwards and tailed the green haired man, tailing him as silently as possible. She saw that he was heading for the garden and decided to act now. She darted forward and rammed into the thief, sending him flying towards some bushes and disappearing into the lush green. The red thief was confused; all he saw was a blur of purple and black before he was sent spiralling into a bush. A very thorny rose bush adorned with luscious crimson flowers bejewelled in droplets of dew. He yelped in pain before jumping out and jumping about, trying to shake off and plucks as many thorns as he can to ease his pain. Then he turned angrily at his attacker, dagger being drawn from his sheathe at the belt. “Alright what’s the big idea ‘ere?” He spouted angrily as he focused on his source of anger. Margaret looked the at red thief up and down and then at the dagger before shrugging. “Please, leave.” She said, trying to hide a giggle at the prospect of fighting a lowly thief by his lonesome. “Girl yous far too youn’ for me to take orders from, hows about you go away and I won’t hurt you.” The red thief said, brandishing his dagger. Seeing this, Margaret couldn’t help herself anymore and giggled. It was funny to think that this thief was trying to challenge her. This set the man off and charged at her with a yell. His dagger was poised high, aiming to stab downwards into her neck. Margaret quickly yanked her scythe and brought it down crashing onto the red haired thief’s head, knocking him out and making the dagger clatter to the ground. “I wonder if there are more of you…” She wondered before picking the man up and dragging him somewhere where he could be contained. She called to attention one of the maids and asked where she could keep the captured thief until the authorities come. The maid suggested in one of the large empty cages in the kennel. Margaret thought about it for a bit and nodded. “That’s seems okay, could you kindly lead me to the cage?” She asked. The maid nodded and began to lead her to the back of the manor, the kennel was decently large. She could her dogs barking loudly as they approached. “Huh, Mr. Watson must really like his dogs huh?” She said as they neared. She dragged the thief into a large cage and slammed it shut. “That seems good. Thank you for leading me here!” She thanked the maid as she left to patrol. One thief had gotten in so there might be a chance that there were others.
A blue haired thief had managed to get in through a hidden hole in the shiny fence. He crawled through and immediately dashed for cover in the trees. His breathing became quiet as he plotted out a route for him to get through. Quietly, he sneaked his way to the fountain where he hid as some of the butlers passed by. The blue haired thief was no slouch, he knew what he was doing. Silently, he moved to find an open window for him to crawl into. He spent quite some time trying to find a way in. From above, Margaret watched the blue haired thief like a mischievous demon getting ready to pull the rug out from under someone in an incredibly violent manner. The blue haired thief froze and ducked as more people passed by and breathed a sigh of relief when he could move again. He found an open window, it was enticing him with ideas of fortune beyond his wildest dream, respect from his fellow thieves, enjoyment and all the good stuff for the rest of his life. He looked around and checked if the coast was clear before making a mad dash for the window. “He didn’t look up.” Margaret said as she aimed her hand down while moving to followed the thief’s movements. The thief was getting closer and closer to the window. He was almost there, just a few more meters and he would be in. Electricity sparked from the elemental master’s hand as it kept trailing movements of the blue haired thief. ‘Almost there! Almost there!’ The blue haired thief thought excitedly as he urged himself to move faster. Electric crackles coming from Margaret’s hand intensified, stray sparks soared through the air as she prepared to fire her spell. The thief was at the window. He was panting in exhaustion but felt proud of himself. He had managed to infiltrate the manor of Mr. Watson. He gave himself a pat on the back before moving to enter the window in a swift manner.
“And SMITE!” She said as Smite fired onto the poor blue haired thief. The thief heard the yell and turned to see where it was coming from. He finally managed to look up before he was struck by Margaret’s magical lightning spell. He spasmed and twitched hysterically for a bit before he crumpled to the floor knocked out cold. Margaret smiled at her work before moving in to grab the thief by the leg and dragging him to the cage in the kennel. She quickly opened the cage door and tossed him, well, more of threw the thief, in before slamming the door shut and making sure it was locked. “Wow, you guys are just crawling out of the woodwork now aren’t you?” She said as she paced in front of the cage back and forth. The two thieves were still knocked out so she was mostly holding a conversation with herself. “You must be very unlucky, picking to steal on the day that I come here. Oh well…” She said as she walked away from the cage. “It makes my job a lot more exciting…although I really wish you hadn’t chosen to come today you poorbrained nitwits…” She grumbled the last part, making it comprehensible to only her. “Come to think of it…” She paused before beginning to fly upwards and seek out anymore of the possible thieves. “There should probably be more of you since this is a big place to steal from.” She said before she took to the skies, cloak billowing in the draft that her gentle flight made. This time she was going to take a different approach in dealing with the intruders. She gave a small savage grin as she looked down onto the manor grounds.
The black haired thief took a different approach and entered through the side of Mr. Watson’s massive manor. Unfortunately for him though, he h had come and entered the dreaded hedge maze. Margaret found it utterly hilarious that the thieves were tiring themselves out by getting themselves into these situations and leaving her for the clean-up, utterly hilarious. That was until she realized that it basically made her a combat maid and she wasn’t sure how that made her feel. She sat down at her perch and pondered about how it made her feel. She ignored the black haired thief for a bit, he wasn’t going anywhere. She sat there for a few minutes, really thinking about it until a scream of frustration interrupted her thinking. She looked down and saw that the thief had managed to loop around and end up exactly where he entered. She laughed a bit and decided to watch the thief struggle a lot, lying down on her rooftop perch, cushioning her chin under arms. Her weapon lay by her side ready for her to grab it in a moment’s notice. The poor thief was having the worst time of his life. The hedge maze was the worst thing for an undereducated thief, or basically anything that pertained to mental strength, basically puzzles. But even then, rodents can find their way around mazes if given enough tries. There might not be any cheese in the maze, but wealth is just as good as an incentive for him to keep trying. And thus, like a rat in a maze in search of cheese, the thief kept going at it like there was no tomorrow. He kept getting lost for each try but he got a bit further every time. Sometimes he forgot where a dead end was or where he was supposed to turn but he kept returning to the start, eager to keep trying until he reached the other side. Margaret laid idly by, legs swinging in the air as she continued to watch the thief keep trying. “For a criminal doing this for ultimately no purpose, he sure is persistent.” She said with a giggle as her eyes followed the thief stop at another dead end. “Why does this maze have to be so damn big!” She heard the thief yell out before he went back to the start. She let out a laugh at that. “It’s not big you fool! It’s that you keep starting from the beginning; I don’t know why you just don’t backtrack of climb over the hedge. Heck you could even go around the maze!” She said but remained unheard by the thief. She could see that the thief was slowly edging ever closer to the edge. A few more tries would guarantee that he would be able to finally exit the maze. “Well, one thing can be said about you guys, you sure are a persistent bunch, for thieves of course.” She said as she began to stand up and stretch her limbs and back. “But since you guy are almost done!” She said before she kicked Grim Nemesis into the air and snatched it with a waiting free hand. The weapon twirled in her fingers a few times before she suddenly stopped its motion and locked the scythe blade down, letting her use her weapon’s spear function. With a drawn breath and practised ease she drew her weapon back and began to drift through the air, getting ready to unleash it on the unsuspecting thief. The thief was almost at the exit of the hedge maze. She would’ve applauded if not for the fact that she was going to strike him down. “Yes! I finally did it! Now I can enter the manor and-“ The rest of the sentence was unfinished as the feminine cry if a certain female elemental master rang true from above him. “Thanatos Despero!” She screamed as the spear left her hand and went flying into the thief. He doubled over in pain as the spear phased through him. The spear returned and relocked into a scythe as Margaret came swinging down on the thief’s head using the non-bladed portion of Grim Nemesis.
The sound of blunt weapon part hitting flesh and bone rang true. The black haired thief went down into a crumpled heap almost comically; it seemed that his arms were raised in futile defence were cushioning him. It was an odd sight for the maid that came by but Margaret waved her away with a polite ‘I’m good here’. The black thief was unceremoniously dragged away to the cages, not even caring if the poor man’s head kept knocking onto the ground with nothing to prevent it. One of the butlers was already standing by to open the cage. With a curt nod, the butler opened the cage to receive the third thief. She sent him flying into the cage, knocking into his two companions, one of which let out a low groan of pain but otherwise remained unconscious whilst the cage door shut and locked.
“Maybe I should let them fight me a bit next time? Hmm…” She said as she floated away from the cage. “I don’t have much to do but stop them, I might as well have some fun when dealing with them.” She said. The spellbook suddenly fluttered and distracted her. “Oh quiet you!” She said as she reached out to shut the book only for it to deftly swerve out of her reach and flutter even more. She sighed and ignored the book for now and walked back into the manor, the sound of rapidly flipping pages trailing behind her.
However, as much could be said about her excellent job with dealing with three thieves outside of the manor. Two had actually gotten into area and separated. Only one of them knew that the others were taken down, the other remained blissfully unaware of Margaret and leisurely walked the whitened halls of Mr. Watson’s manor. The unaware one had hair the shade of grass during the midday sun with clear skies. He was also carrying a sack to carry around the goods he was going to get from the manor. He hummed to himself as he began to stuff whatever fancy looking item he came across into his sack. There was a really weird abstract painting that went in, a sculpture made of some shiny metal, a few crystal balls and lamps, some golden candle stands and their candles (of course he put out the fire if any of them were lit), and so much more. Margaret heard the thief’s humming and quietly peeked around the corner, spotting the greened haired thief with a sack of rich man’s items heading down the hall, picking up stuff along the way. She held in a giggle as she watched him flitter back and forth, picking up as much stuff as he can. ‘That’s very dumb, pretty soon you’d have to drag the sack instead of carrying it.’ She though from her little hideaway and quietly ducked back into the corner. Sure enough, the sack had become so heavy that the thief had no choice but to put down his looting sack and drag it across the floor instead. Some maids heard the noise but Margaret waved them away. “Don’t worry; I have this all under control.” She mouthed to them. The maids looked at each other before turning back and walking away, leaving Margaret to deal with the thief. She went back to watching the thief struggle with pulling the sack bag. She sighed as she heard the thief come closer to her from around the corner and readied her fist. She wasn’t going to hurt this thief that much; she was just going to knock him out really quickly. The green haired thief was moving a lot slower now compared to his earlier speed. He was very adamant on keeping all of the things he had managed to stuff into the sack bag, thus making the sack bag incredibly heavy. He even had to take short breaks as he stretched his back and limbs to shake off his exhaustion before continuing again. Margaret could hear that the green haired thief was incredibly close now; just a few more steps and he would be swiftly dealt with.

Comments/Notes:
Alright, so, the personality and history could use a bit more meat on them, and that has been communicated.
As for abilities:
- Resistive Regeneration:
- Resistive Regeneration: Tyrant Hunger's regeneration has only grown stronger over the years. It has reached to the point where it is constantly regenerating and is able to regenerate even as an attack happens, ending in attacks being less effective on it than they should be and overpowers poisons and diseases. Though it takes it's toll on it and takes a lot of energy, making it unable to fire a Cero while regenerating. When out of combat, this regeneration is further empowered.
Okay, first things first - I do not have a problem with it overpowering diseases, but you should change poisons to 'most poisons' so that it does not grant an absolute guard against these types of attacks. Another thing I would like to ask is that for particular 'weak points' - like the eyes and other parts of Tyrant that perform vital functions - that the regeneration is either much slower or not as effective.
- Gargantuan Garganta:
- Gargantuan Garganta: Tyrant Hunger's Gargantas are naturally massive in order to be able handle transporting it. Though mostly used to travel, Tyrant Hunger is capable of using it to suddenly appear and ambush it's prey.
I would ask that if this is used in a thread, that it takes a post of Tyrant being able to focus to open completely for his use. He is super-massive after all, and getting suddenly and unexpectedly mauled by a dinosaur-like creature that you're trying to combat from an unexpected angle seems extraordinarily unpleasant. A similar charge-up time should be used for Devouring Garganta.
- Supernatural Natural Armor:
- Supernatural Natural Armor: Instead of having Acidic Touch. Tyrant Hunger's skin has overgrown and hardened, creating a second skin that acts like armor. This causes attacks that hit it to be less effective than they should be.
So, other than that name being...interesting, I would ask that you either downplay this trait greatly, or remove it entirely. Having effective regeneration on top of armor is something that we try to avoid in characters, and overall I think you've put more of an emphasis on the regenerative aspect of Tyrant Hunger. If you do choose to downplay it and keep it as a much weaker version, you should probably mention that once the armor is blown away once in a thread, it cannot regenerate during that thread, leaving that patch more vulnerable.
- Abnormal Resistance:
- Abnormal Resistance: Tyrant Hunger's massive size, age, and consumed souls have given him incredible resistance against effects that don't cause damage. It is able to partially shrug off such effects, causing them to only be half as effective as they should be. However while doing so it is unable to move.
This is too general of an ability. Either remove the part that says 'half' and say that he attempts to resist such effects using his spiritual energy, or change it to things like heat, cold, and electric effects are less effective.
- Worldbreaker's Siege:
- Worldbreaker's Siege: Through sheer size and brute strength, Tyrant Hunger excels in the wholesale destruction of created structures as well as natural terrain smaller than it. Attacks it makes against structures and terrain are more potent and efficient, demolishing. them with ease
A+ ability name on this one. I would ask that you change 'demolishing them with ease' to 'tends to demolish them with ease'.

[mod]Awoo voicemail services. You have 1 new message. Message one.
Reaping Cero needs explaination on what is different from Razing Cero. Is it larger, smaller, faster, slower? Some details, please.
How does Reaping pull people in? The 'unable to be rendered fighting' and 'empty husk' should also be removed or greatly reworded
Her unique power also needs more detail, particularly about how it makes her attacks 'hurt more', and an upper ceiling on how much it can process to heal her at a time
Make a choice in the skill sheet between Hierro or Regeneration. Both is not allowed[/mod]
