Its been 3 years since the Young Quincy or in this case human has lost her powers, despite still having the ability to decipher spirits from ordinary people this did leave a sour taste in her mouth the woman now walking around karakura central wearing a pair of jeans, a white shirt with a logo she swear is part of some teenagers boy band, and a black jacket with a hoodie her hair was curled down her back in silky chocolate ripples and her wispy bangs tickled the side of her right cheek with beautiful blue eyes, symmetrically shaped with flat eye lashes and perfectly trimmed eyebrows.

She missed the days of being a quincy and using her powers as a means of protecting innocent lives now reduced to a mere human with spirtual awareness she had doubts about going back and wanted to live a normal life. As the girl began walking around the town seeing the buildings, people, and the cool fall air passing by, ignoring any means of conversation and dwelled within her own thoughts. Ritsuko looked back at everything she's done beforehand and came to a realization...what was her goal and what actually drove her to become a member of Vastime was it out of self-pity or something more?

She's been training with the likes of Mirja and Henrex and recognized the major roles and impact they have on not only vastome but to others seeling knowledge as well. Ritsuko then looked up with a determined gesture she was going to use this an oppurtunity to redeem herself and utilize what she knows to make a powerful impact on someone but for now she needed a way to unlock her powers...

Karakura Central. Hadn't Alex, like, just been here? He'd needed to get to Hawaii somehow, after all, and Japan was as good a way as any. But now he was back here, thanks Mr. Lizard, only he basically had nothing he actually needed to do, so he was pretty much just doing what he did best. That is to say, dicking around and hoping something fun came his way.

Well, fuck, he wasn't just gonna stand here and hope it hit him on this bench in the park. There had to be something worth doing, so he took a look around just to see who he might even ask. Eenie, meenie, miney, oh hey, looked like it was gonna be chicky-poo over there with the blue eyes. That was actually a little weird, blue eyes didn't much come to mind when Alex thought “Japanese.” Uh, rice, shitty beer, ninjas, those dork cartoons, that was about what he thought of, but not blue eyes. So, naturally, that was interesting enough to catch his attention.

Lighting a cigarette and making his way over, Alex took a long pull and, of course, made sure not to blow it toward this chick afterward, giving her a wave as he approached. “Yo, hiya. Name's Alex. You know anything cool to do in town here? Kinda stuck here for a bit, I'd rather not just twiddle my thumbs and learn how to eat with chopsticks, you feel me?”

Hm, now that he was closer, she wasn't bad to look at. She had that cute look down pat, though he really had a distinct feeling something wasn't quite what it seemed there. Might've just been an act, or maybe she just had some repressed tendencies. Who knew, but Alex was pretty curious to find out more either way. “Mind if I catch your name?”

Ritsuko but now that she's just a spiritual human she feels limited in the places to go and since she doesn't have means to defend herself against powerful foes. "Maybe I should go back ho-" however her train of thought was stopped as a man approached her, and why the hell does he wanna socialize with her? Surely it was something about her that lured him in...perhaps it was her clothing, or the looks of an innocent maiden.

Whatever the case she began staring at the man up and down be was somewhat too tall for his build; were he a few inches shorter he would be all the more handsome for it. It was as if he stopped growing only to be stretched on one of those medieval racks a half-foot more. His face was mostly obscured by red hair beard that covered his eyes.

The man was holding a cigar to his lips a small puff a smoke would be blown in her direction as she could smell the nicotine taint the air but surprisingly he making sure it didn't his introduction was strange
normally in a situation like this is where the man takes the first move and introduced himself followed by a ridiculous punch-line to get into a woman's pants. In all honesty she wanted to punch him square in the mouth but the man was only looking for a place to get some grub and judging by his voice he certainly wasn't the charming type; but it's better than walking around aimlessly with nothing to do so she answered with no hint of sarcasm whatsoever on the outside she was smiling as can be but on the I side hoping this disgusting figure would leave her sight. "The names Ritsuko but most people call me Ritz, and if your looking for a place to eat I recommend Sakura Japanese Steakhouse & Seafood."

"Ritz, eh? Classy, I like it." Alex grinned a bit at that, more to himself than to Ritsuko or anyone else, and lowered his cigarette, sizing this chick up as subtly as he was capable of. She definitely wasn't being straight up with him, probably just trying to get rid of him. Which was fine, in theory anyway, but he didn't think he'd quite done anything to merit that kinda treatment. Well, if she was gonna give him the ol' brush-off, then naturally, there was only one way to get back at her.

"Well, if it's pretty killer, why don't you come along? My treat, obviously, and I figure I can ask a few more questions about town and stuff there instead of just holding you up here on the sidewalk." Heh, that'd show her. That was basically the best way he could think to word that without it ending up just sounding like he was asking her out or some shit, which, newsflash, he definitely fuckin' wasn't. Sure, she was cute, but he wasn't a tool, and that was hardly enough to really grab his attention.

With the question out in the open, Alex turned away from Ritz slightly to take a loooong drag from his smoke. He was probably gonna need it real bad. "And 'sides, I don't exactly know where this place is or anything, so a guide'd help just a bit, you feel me?" He shot her a surprisingly charming grin, a simple but rather endearing sign of good will. It wasn't really genuine, of course, but he'd been doing this since he was like 5. If there was one thing he was good at, it was faking good will.

Shit, speaking of that, he'd need to make sure he had a good way of telling his life story ready for if he had to drop the classic guilt trip on her. He was absolutely gonna spend time with this girl now, he just had to on principle. Then again, he might have been getting ahead of himself, and he internally cursed a bit at himself as it struck him that he might have been attributing far too much malice to a girl he literally just met. Almost felt bad. Almost.

Once Ritsuko heard those words she was definitely taken aback by his response, she'd at least expect but it was the complete opposite in fact starting off strong by asking if she could tag along while also willing to pay? Now that's the kind of peeople this town needs gentleman with a little bit of respect for women.

Even if he was a bit of a creep he was still new to the city and she didnt wanna leave him hanging by his lonesome potentially getting mugged by thugs and leaving him to rot on the ground. So she smiled at Alex before seeing him turn around before hearing his mouth take in a large amount of smoke from the cigar before exhaling and facing her once more.

She could hear her stomach growling as it if it was crying out to rits just begging for a meal to sustain itself before nightfall.

"Of course i'll join you, and if you see something of interest and want to know what it means just ask me."Ritsuko then smiled at Alex seeing his smile of confidence before turning around to head towards the direction of the buffet and since it takes a few minutes too get there she might as well start a conversation to break all the dead silence.

"So alex, do you have any family or relatives?"

“Family?” Alex thought about how to answer that for a second. He probably had more living family than he actually knew about, but who really gave a shit about them? So that just left... “Yeah, got a sister. Not much else though, dunno what my parents are up to these days.” He took another drag from his cigarette, and as he watched the smoke blow away, another rather important figure came to mind. “I guess my, uh, teacher. Haven't seen him in a few years now or anything, but we were pretty tight.” How was the old man doing, anyway?

Oh, right, conversation. “What about you” Looked like he actually had been wrong about this chick, which was kinda nice honestly. She'd seemed like a bitch at first, but hey, it was fine now. You know, unless it happened again, the he'd be ready to go like she'd spit on his shoes. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, fuck you, you wanna go, I'll kill you. Something like that.

As he felt his teeth starting to itch, though, Alex took a moment to collect himself, running a hand through his hair and taking a long, deep breath. He was getting himself worked up over nothing, and not just metaphorically nothing, but literal, actual nothing, a thing that hadn't even happened. Not a good move in the slightest, and basically a terrible outcome for everyone involved. No need to get pissy.

Now this was getting interesting, hearing alex say his favorite person which was suprisingly his teacher perhaps he was a role-model or father figure to him? Regardless she watched as before being asked about herself.

This was going to be a doozy, she decided to start from the beginning and describe her life today and her past surely a small history lesson will get him a better idea of her personality.

"I have a beautiful wife named Toshiko, lived with my parents and had a friend nam- " Ritsuko stopped abruptly as her mouth stopped just the thought of saying his name left a disgusting taste in her mouth...seeing that same image of him being beaten by thugs while she just ran away like a coward.

She remained silent as the guilt sat not on her chest but inside her brain. She could make amends in subtle ways, but confession was out of the question, even to her parents. Only in her silent prayers could she speak her heart to God and beg for his mercy. She didn't feel like she deserved the love of Jesus but she clung to it and hung the shreds of her sanity on it. She prayed that one day she would feel removed from her sin, washed clean of it, but the guilt was a stain on her, an ugly scar.

But was she ready to tell such a story to Adam? Was she ready to tell her heartbreaking story

Raising an eyebrow at the abrupt stop, Alex kinda leaned in a bit, only narrowly stopping himself from waving a hand in front of Ritsuko's face. “Yo, uh, you okay there? Everything good?” Clearly everything was not good, but asking her like that was definitely better than just going Yo, Ritz, the fuck's cooking your goose? Though, he did have to admit that had a pretty hilarious ring to it, truth be told. Maybe he should have... Nah, nah, that'd definitely be bad.

Still, he wasn't exactly sure what he even should be saying here. Girl looked like she was about to jump off a fuckin' cliff or something, and that wasn't kosher. At least, he was pretty sure it wasn't kosher. He wasn't actually sure about that, but that wasn't the point right now. The point was, the fuck was he even supposed to do? He wasn't gonna like put a hand on her shoulder or anything, they'd just met, touching her'd be weird unless he was trying to lay on the sick moves (and he was definitely not).

“Hey, lisen, you need to talk about it or whatever, feel free.” That ought to do it.

Ritsuko took a deep breath breathing in all the things she's been keeping inside for all these years and exhaled; signifying she was ready to explain to him about the whole ordeal. She looked at Alex with utter contemplate; she's never actually spoken to anyone about this however she was glad he was eager to listen hopefully he'll understand the situation right?
"Okay Alex, well I wanna ask you a question first, have you ever had feelings for someone but it was actually a detriment to not only yourself but others around you causing someone's life to be taken away"

There was this guy I had a crush on his name was Malikov; I also had a friend named he was considered my only real friend to be honest... Ritsuko decided to just skip the formalities and get to the serious part.

Long story short we were going to a local shop to celebrate Defence of the Fatherland until we were ambushed by some gang. We asked them what they wanted but they didn't answer just immediately started whaling on all three of us I managed to fight some of them off of , and save Malikov in the process although his face looked like beaten up meat. However Kachusov couldn't get away fast enough. I tried to run back to help but Malikov just held me back...
I screamed to the top of my lungs until four of the members just beat him until he couldn't move anymore I can still hear his screams when I sleep at night. I was just so focused on saving his life that I didn't even recognize my best friend in front of me being beaten to death.... "What's the point in moving on if all you have are nightmares of the same thing over and over again until you can't take it anymore" Ritsuko couldn't maintain her composure as tears starting to stream down her face...

As Rits pretty much broke down in front of him, Alex had to really, really do his best not to sigh and roll his eyes. He'd, uh, not really been expecting this, but he didn't quite feel like being a total cock about it either. This was pretty clearly a big deal, and that was even more obvious the more the story unfolded, but Alex still had no idea what he was exactly supposed to be saying or anything. With a bit of hesitation, he put a hand on her shoulder as comfortingly as he was realistically able to, and gave her a couple pats.

"Well, that's uh, that's rough. Obviously a little bit of an understatement, but, you know." He shrugged a bit after that, and idly played with a lock of his hair as he thought about what to say next without sounding like a total dickhead. "This is just my two cents here, but honestly, I don't think this is really a good thing to be holding onto like this, you feel me?"

Alex took a second to let those words sink in for her, then continued, "Way I see it, you got a new lease on life then, yeah? But you're still trying to feel better about it, not just move on. Might sound kind of harsh, but I think the best thing you, or anyone, really, can do with a situation like that is just to stop really worrying about it at all. It's in the past now, you dig?"

While that all sounded rather flippant, and Alex's tone certainly implied that he was just rattling off whatever came to mind, his face told at least a faintly different story. Sure, his eyes were as hard and sharp as ever, but he was actually at least looking at her, and his smile was surprisingly gentle, at least compared to his usual snarky grin. He seemed to care, on some level, about this conversation.
