» Personality:

Optimistic - The first, upfront thing one would notice about this little fox girl, is that she is the brightest star one could ever imagine to exist. Well, that’s saying a little much, but the girl can’t help but provide the biggest, happiest smile to anyone who’s down. You can always see the girl hopping around (literally), all happy and full of joy any chance get can muster. Her happiness is kind of infectious with how outward she is, even if she does rather strange behaviors to exhibit it. If theres someone she cares about, she will always try to get their attention to bring a smile to their face, be it poking them til they give her attention or just giving them a warm hug.

Compassionate - If anyone’s kind, Aiko is to an excessive degree. Aiko is very sensitive to other’s needs and, to her rather limited mental capabilities, strives to fulfill them. She’s that person who runs in the street to stop cars just to let a family of ducks pass. So… Yes she can get a bit reckless with trying to do good for others. Even if she gets carried away, she still does her best for everyone to be happy.

Easily Exciteable - You’d think this girl had too much sugar, but really she’s just naturally hard to keep still. The slightest unfamiliar thing can get this girl riled up with a starry eyed stare and a dropped jaw. She is astonishingly easy to impress, considering she’s had practically nothing happen to her in her current existence. This girl gets laughing and clapping with a dripping faucet; you could place her in front of a sink and she could watch in anticipation as that water droplet builds and builds as she gets more and more perked up, before falling and having the most drawn out, explosive reaction ever conceived for something so simple.

Child-like - Due to her treatment, Aiko has the consciousness of someone 16 or so years younger than her. She doesn’t know how to do a lot of things, even things as simple as bathing or eating properly. She doesn’t know proper etiquette, or manners, or anything someone would have been taught by now. Along with that, she doesn’t quite understand speech, the girl can hardly speak a coherent sentence. She has a rather kiddish tone when she speaks since that kind of behavior was all she was exposed to. Of course she does the little things like begging with cuteness and such… Anything you’d think a toddler would do, she normally does with a few things attached.

Brutally Honest - Along with a rather child-like mindset, she has the honesty of one. She has almost zero capacity to lie and absolutely zero filter. Even if she can’t speak, she is very very expressive through both her face, and her ears and tail(s). If she doesn’t like you (Well you just really fucked up there if she doesn’t) she will give you the coldest, deadest stare you can ever conceive. She will make her feelings of upsetness very clear with ignoring you and hitting you with objects. If you’re a friend to her (If so, nice job! You completed an easier task than breathing. Congrats.) she will give you all the love in the world with hugs and body warmth. Of course theres other ways shes honest though its a rather limited field considering she can hardly form proper words.

Observant - Even if it doesn’t seem so with her seemingly low functioning mind, Aiko is a sucker for details. It’s a sort of subconscious behavior; it wasn’t learned, she was simply born that way. Some would even say it’s an obsession of some kind. This is mostly conveyed with her staring at objects and having the tendency to start touching things even if advised not to. With the touching, she likes feeling the details of an object, especially if it reminds her of something else. Some of the more complex designs could keep her occupied for hours, even. She also pays attention to how other people communicate, often being the first to notice anything strange like wording or even a different tone. She’s also very interested in body language because of noticing how differently people can behave in the same situation.

Alien - Might as well have dropped out of a UFO with how unfamiliar with the world she is. She knows absolutely nothing about the current state of the world, hell a few weeks ago she didn’t even think there was anything beyond her room. She’s been dropped into a strange place by a turn of events she did not wish upon herself, and of course as any lost child, she is terrified but intrigued. She doesn’t know about any sort of technology, even something as simple as a tv or toilet.

Self-Conscious - A rather large part of Aiko she has yet to understand is her own insecurities. The thing is, the girl is extremely aware of how her behavior tends to make people feel. She can understand context quite well and if she obviously upset someone, she will feel immense guilt. She often times doubts her own abilities to do things correctly, and often times cries from being unable to deal with her emotions. Her mind tries to bury these, but she still feels the guilt of not being an adequate person.

Hidden Bloodthirst - Buried within the confines of the girl’s mind, only being awakened under certain conditions, such as stimulating enough fear in her or even threatening her life. This is a genetic phenomenon present in her lineage. The rage, madness, sadness, of any of the demon foxes of her blood is added into a collective unconscious that soon boiled into bloodlust. The girl doesn’t have a full tap to this collective, boiling cauldron of negativity, but the bit that comes out often times drives her to violence. It’s often activated in self defense, beyond her control, but the outcome is far bigger and horrible than the cause. When it activates, it can either an escalation, her going from strange mumblings and staring at someone with an empty, frozen expression that can build into a violent rampage, or straight up reacting violently and attacking someone, in some situations seemingly out of nowhere. Whenever it activates she never remembers what happens, her memory blanks on it. Slitted pupils are a common feature of activation.

The Vault - Created as a mental defense mechanism, most traumatizing or shocking thoughts or memories are automatically thrown into the depths of Aiko’s mind, somewhere she couldn’t reach if she was aware of it. It’s her mind’s way of keeping itself sane and safe, in some form or other.

» History

An uncharted amount of time ago, a village was built hidden away in the mountains of a long abandoned area due to the wrath of war. Decades later, a monstrous fox ravaged the village. Many were killed in it’s violent rampage as it had destroyed buildings and crushed lives. It demanded servitude and loyalty to it, or the tragedy that had laid waste to their village would happen once more. The villagers complied, giving it offerings of food and presents. From the elderly to children, the villagers were to give up something to offer to the fox, or face the consequences. Sacrifices of cattle and even festivals were done just to please the demon, who they soon viewed as a god.

But soon, the demon demanded more. The demon demanded once a year, a male is brought up to their living quarters. The villagers fearfully followed the command, bringing their most handsome men once a year. Months later, a baby would appear on the doorstep of the family who had sent their house member, but the man would not return. This had progressed for quite a few decades, until the village was more of the fox-like children than the regular humans.

The monster fox descended upon the village once more, declaring that they wish for only one more sacrifice, pointing out the male they wished. They looked upon the crowd of it’s children, giving them the Inari name. They spoke of a day that they would return, but in another form, vanishing back into the peak of the mountain. The last child was left, and the fox was never heard of again.

Several generations went on, the people awaiting the second coming.

A very long time later, a woman had a rather strange pregnancy, stranger than any usual women with issues carrying a child. The woman got sick, very often. She appeared to weaken more and more as the pregnancy carried on, which only brought interest to the other villagers present in caring for her. Midway through, the woman seemed to mentally deteriorate, but no one around her seemed to have the interest or knowledge to understand her failing mental state. All they were concerned about was the “second coming” of their god.

The woman finally managed to give birth, the child born… She was a beautiful child with golden hair and… Fox ears along with a tail. The people rejoiced, though the girl’s mother had other plans. She was caught trying to strangle her own newborn child, nurses pulling her away. She seemingly came back to her senses, allowing them to stay with her child. The last she was heard of was approaching the side of the mountain.

It was up to the villagers to raise the second coming of their god, though many complications arose as the girl grew. She violently reacted to children when playing, whenever the girl was upset, she lashed out which the villagers viewed as the wrath of their god. This terrified the inhabitants, a plan to prevent another blow of judgement from being cast upon the village. They were to keep the girl happy, to keep her safe, to keep her calm… A small home was created utop the peak of the mountain, where their god once roamed, filled with soft, colorful decor and a host of toys. Of course it wouldn't be a practical home for any normal person, but it would be perfect for their god.

They placed the girl in the room at a young age, people told to watch her and tend to her needs at any time it was needed. Playdates were controlled, what she was exposed to was limited. The most important detail, all she knew was the room.

The girl resided in this room, having quickly gotten used to the soft and colorful appearance. It was just about anything a child would want, minus the bathroom of course. Meals were brought and fed to her, she was clothed and bathed by her caretakers, she had all the toys and children she could ever play with, practically a dream come true for any child. She was safe from harm, safe from loneliness, safe…

And that was the problem.

She was too safe. She was too comfortable. The people who cared for her never allowed her to do something for herself. Any attempts at trying to bathe or eat herself were thwarted by her caretaker, her being told that she should allow others to help her. That she cannot help herself. This ideal was driven into the girl’s head any time she tried to endear to her peers, until she no longer tried and succumbed to the idea that others must care for her and she cannot care for herself.

Things progressively got more difficult as the girl grew into her more mature years. The girl got more and more moody and upset, but of course this was suppressed once more. Her infantile behavior was extremely noticeable at this stage, along with playing with younger children. She always stared at the door as the children left or someone came in to give her food. A few times she tried leaving just to be pulled away from the door and told it was dangerous.

The girl became lethargic at a few points, often times falling asleep during activities like eating or playing. She was bored, she was sad. Along with her growth and new behaviors, the villagers only got more and more paranoid of her. Many feared she would break loose and cause catastrophe while others, equally scared, tried to settle them, but of course they believed this possibility as well.

This paranoia was only proven correct when the girl began to lash out, at a few points almost killing children or the person watching her as they upset her. Tension only grew beyond the bounds of Aiko’s reality. Suicides occurred, people went mad from the pressure. Things only got worse and worse until a small group decided to commit what they viewed as blasphemy.

A woman slipped into Aiko’s room, which Aiko was rather indifferent to see. Though the girl did notice something different about her; she had her hand behind her back, which got her slightly wary. The woman assured her everything would be okay, coming close to the girl, before drawing a strange object that made Aiko feel the cold tinge of fear.

The last thing the girl competently remembers is the creep of a smile forming on the woman’s face.

The girl woke up next in an unfamiliar place to being poked with something. A group of figures hung over her, all that was collected from them was their exchanges and a series of wide smiles. As soon as the last one seemed, another blackout occurred as soon as she was grabbed by one of them.

Similar situations occurred left and right, the girl waking up in a new location again and again. She watched the world from the sidelines, staring at the daily activities of those she couldn't not fathom existed.

Rumors began circling around the town she roamed around about a giant fox that murdered people, and of course with her traits she was associated with the rumors and thus got rather unsatisfactory treatment from others, which in some cases only caused the cases to rise more often and cause more panic.

» Natural Abilities:

Sharpened Senses: Due to her animalistic features, Aiko actually has much stronger senses than the average person. Much like any fox, she is able to hear and smell things with much more clarity than any regular person could. She can hear the faintest of sounds and smell the weakest of scents with enough clarity to know who or what it is. She is also able to have a sort of forewarning of natural events or other things affecting the area or earth by many means of her sharpened senses, including feeling vibrations or sensing a change in atmospheric pressure. Of course with her sharpened senses there are drawbacks. If she experiences common things like too much of something, she could easily have sensory overload and shut down, either become confused and exhausted or just pass out completely.

Paranoia Aura: A trait the girl was born with, Aiko naturally radiates an aura that can induce paranoia. It’s invisible and can only be sensed by the same method of sensing energy. At this stage of Aiko’s power, it’s normally too weak to have any sort of profound effect on others aside from a few anxious thoughts that can be waved off in even the most weakest minds. Though it isnt particularly useful in the regards to affecting others, even at this stage it is extremely helpful to herself. This aura actually acts as a rather effective filter for any sort of malicious mind affecting energies from the outside. Unless the energy was directly applied to her body, this filter will take affect. Instead of Aiko directly suffering from the effects from whatever kind of energy is distributed to her, it goes through the filter and depending on the severity, it protects Aiko from any sort of insanity or harmful altered mental states by turning it into paranoia. How would making her paranoid make it any better you may ask? It keeps her mind running under it’s own control, within it’s own boundaries. Even if she were rushed with paranoid thoughts, they would always be about the situation at hand and even in some points, would actually drive her to get whatever task done in greater speed out of fear the earth would get hit by flaming meteors covered in alien feces if she didn’t.

Fox Claws/Fangs: Aiko has quite the peculiar set of teeth and claws. These aren’t just for animal aesthetics, they are quite beneficial in fighting and anything that needs some animal stuff. They are actually quite hard and strong despite appearances, not many things able to break them unless direct, hard effort was applied specifically to break them (If anything the nail clippers would snap instead of the nail…). Her claws are capable of slicing through even steel like butter, even if they aren’t too long, just under 3 inches of length from the end of her fingers. As for her jaw and teeth, they have the bite force about equal to many large predators like large cats or bears, granting the ability to easily bite through things like flesh or bone.

Tailbidextrous: Aiko is actually able to use her tail(s) as extra limbs, whether it be to carry objects or move things. Sometimes they act as if they have a mind of their own (but really are very emotion orientated) so how they preform depends directly on Aiko’s mental state. Such as if she were very lethargic, the tails would move slowly and sluggishly.

Skills in the Arts:
Aiko is naturally very gifted with learning and performing art related things. The activities just seem to click with her and she can take off with them relatively quickly. These primarily consist of…

Music - Despite not ever hearing a single song or even glancing at an instrument, Aiko is very drawn to and attached to music. She actually has a very beautiful singing voice, even if she only vocalizes. If she were to be allowed the privilege of even touching an instrument, it wouldn’t take her very long to figure out how it functions and start playing some random but rather lovely music.

Painting/Sculpting - Aiko is VERY in tune with details. She can’t help but touch things to know how they feel like and look. Give the girl a canvas and paint or even a glob of clay and she knows what to do.

Dancing - Aiko actually has quite the body for advanced movements such as flexibility and a reasonable amount of retained strength. She also has a remarkable sense of balance (especially due to her tails) so it is quite easy for her to learn and then do very complicated moves.




» Unique Abilities:

Collective Unconsciousness of the Ancients - Completely unknown to Aiko, a sea of her demonic ancestor’s conscious minds are stored deep in her subconscious mind. Technically, she was reincarnated from them, hence why their minds are bound to the same consciousness. They aren’t necessarily other personalities however, they aren’t able to breach the unconscious mind of Aiko or take control of her. They are only present to provide knowledge. The thing is… They’re practically assholes and don’t wish to share too much with those they deem unworthy. Lo and behold, Aiko isn’t deemed worthy to their knowledge, hence why she doesn’t necessarily have too much to offer.

Seals - There is a few things the ancients provide Aiko. Often times when she’s sleeping, she’s met with a sea of symbols along with what they mean being plowed into her skull. She isn’t fully conscious of their purpose, but she does have the unconscious desire to draw them whenever the chance is given. Only Aiko has the ability to activate these seals; if any others try to draw and use them, nothing will happen.

Any sort of seals that she becomes fully conscious of and actively uses will be listed below. Any new seals she discovers have to be run by the power upgrades section like any new ability:

Igneo -
A rather simple seal that when drawn, a short burst of fire in the form of a small explosion releases when it is blown by Aiko. The explosion is only able to give minor burns with close contact or set things on fire.

Aquari -
Another simple seal, when drawn, spews forth a fountain of water. The water has enough force to knock someone off their feet, but overall isn’t very strong.

Terrae -
Another basic seal, when drawn, copies material in the immediate area, and becomes a random metal. Lets say, a place Aiko is in has a high content of iron in the dirt. That means the material the seal will make will more likely be iron than anything else.

9 Trials of the Human Consciousness - Aiko’s bloodline is deeply connected to human consciousness and emotion overall. When confronted with strong emotions or significant events, their powers manifest from tails that split off with nine at maximum. Her bloodline has specific events and conditions needed to be able to grow more tails and get stronger. The expansion and strength of their consciousness through these experiences ends up empowering them in the long run. None with her blood have ever accessed the 9th tail, often times misinterpreting the final requirements and committing suicide.

Tail 1 ~ The Creation of Consciousness (Birth) -

Abilities -

Scented Souls: Aiko doesn’t sense souls like normal people. Instead, she can actually smell souls. With this ability, if she has become familiar with the scent, she is able to identify the race, strength, and even identity of a person within a 30 mile radius. She can’t zero in on specific scents unless the person is in sight, but if they are strong enough she can catch a whiff.

Night Vision: When Aiko is in a dark enough setting, her eyes automagically turn yellow and glow in the darkness. Though to herself it gives her enough clarity to see in black and white but make it much easier to navigate in the darkness.

High Functioning Empathy: Mostly being an inherited trait than a learned one, Aiko is extremely sensitive to other’s emotions. She can, in a way, “hear” emotions like wavelengths at a limited range. Her brain has to interpret these wavelengths and thus if she knows where the wavelengths are coming from, she can read someone else’s emotions. It’s at a rather simple stage right now; she can only sense the strongest or most prominent emotion the person is currently feeling, or in her case, the loudest one. She often times directly reacts to the wavelength, sometimes getting confused and momentarily feeling the same way. If there's too many people feeling very strong emotions around her (For example, if she were in a riot, she’d hear plenty of anger) , it can get loud for her, overwhelm her, and cause a sensory overload, breaking her down from normal functioning and possibly causing her to pass out.

Tail 2 ~ The Agony of Loss -


Abilities -

Clay Familiars: Of course, what is an artist without sculptures? Of course, rather than just be a pretty thing to gaze upon, they can come to life as well! Aiko is capable of creating a rather strange type of clay through... Bodily means. Most of the time it's creation is purely accidental, her body creating it without a second thought. She pukes up a varying sized amorphous white blob created from her energy, either at random, or whenever she wills it. She is then able to shape this blob, though it is only at it's most effective in creation if it is a functional, recognizable creature. To bring the statue to life, Aiko must give it a kiss. The kiss imbues the statue with the necessary energy to allow a sort of pseudo consciousness, though being rather primitive in nature considering it is incapable of intelligent thought. How it is brought to life is the final determining step, however. Namely, how she feels about it. If she feels intense emotions upon delivering the life-giving kiss, this exerts more energy into the creature, which can cause things like an increase in physical prowess or an unexpected addition in size. They aren't capable of doing anything supernatural, but are capable of preforming whatever animal they are based on, plus possible increases in versatility of those natural skills. They operate much like said animals, however, and lack the ability to communicate or have a solid foundation of a mind, meaning both they can't be affected by mental attacks, but makes controlling especially the stronger of them all the more irritating. Regardless of physical appearances, they are still statues; breaking their bodies will only result in them crumbling much like stone. However, as long as their heart, the core of the power keeping their body in function, is intact (often seen as a small silver and gold pearl located at a random area in the creature's body; They are incapable of moving this around, however, and any broken parts gravitate back to it whenever fallen as long as it is fully intact) they can just pull themselves back together within a decent enough time, given the damage didn't say, crumble a part to dust.

Za Koa Paint: Aiko’s tails are able to act as paint brushes, excreeting an ink-like substance one could call paint, though this paint is created from Aiko’s own Za Koa. This paint can have more diverse effects, but Aiko only knows how to make black paint. The paint can be drawn on air as if a canvas was in front of her, which is effective in creating seals with a direction.

The paint, if on someone, will have effect as long as the paint is on their body and can always be removed.

Black Paint - Causes the opponent to feel excruciatingly depressed. This may lower their morale or will to act, but it isn’t definite. The sensation can be fought, but they’ll always feel a weight on their mind telling them to just stop and what they’re doing is worthless.

Songs of the Soul: Aiko is able to create songs that can influence others emotionally. They don’t always have to have lyrics, but they will cause some sort of effect on other people’s emotions or mental state. Aiko herself doesn’t really know how a song will affect others unless she experiments. For the songs to have actual effects, Aiko herself needs to be able to feel the emotion that is being conveyed through the song. Meaning if a song is meant to make those around her sad, Aiko herself needs to think the song is sad.

Songs need to be created IC and put through the power upgrades like any other new ability.

» Adjustable State Appearance:

-Partial Transformation-
Aiko often times halts at a certain point before total transformation if her emotions are not intense enough to push through with a full transformation. This sort of midway point gives Aiko fox-like features while mostly retaining a human appearance. Her mouth somewhat elongates into a muzzle, her hands and feet become curled and far more paw-like, her arms and legs slightly warp to resemble a quadruped rather than a bipedal but she is still capable of walking normally. Her pupils sharpen and her eyes change from their autumn color to a sharp yellow. Her teeth resemble that of an animal’s as well.

-Beast Transformation-
When Aiko has a proper transformation, her body increases in size as she becomes more and more fox-like. Her small body changes, yellow fur growing on her body. Often times her clothing stretches just to finally tear and fall off due to the quick and massive growth of her body. At her current stage of power, she can only get as big as a minivan, but as small as a park bench in terms of size. She looks like how you would think a fox would look, except most of the time her tail begins splitting. Due to having an extreme lack of control of this form, she often times looks like a mindless wild animal in this form.

» Adjustable State Benefits:

-Midway Point-
Partial transformation only grants at most a half the strength the abilities give vs a full transformation.

-Beast Transformation-
A transformation into the beastly fox mostly grants Aiko physical increases than anything else.

Strength Increase - Her strength is increased to a monstrous degree, capable of crushing thick metal between the fingers of one hand and lifting heavy objects like cars or small buildings with ease. With this strength she could theoretically smack someone and fling them down a few blocks to sustain a lot of broken bones upon impact with any objects or buildings. This strength is at it’s absolute peak if she shifts into one of the larger end of the spectrum of forms.

Speed Increase - Not as outstanding as the strength, but quite useful in her smaller transformations. Aiko is capable of moving quite fast, not exactly at the rate of blinding, but a rather fair amount of speed. If allowed to break into a run, she could reach and maintain speeds of almost 100 mph, her more instant kinds of speed capping at around 20-30 mph with immediate movement.
