As he finished she comforted him. He said nothing, he just focused on her words and the hand brushing down his cheek and through his hair. It was calming and comforting. Finally she finished. "And I'll make sure you always have someone to come home to, no matter what happens." As Kanna went to return to the bed, a pain shot down her side. "Ah, ahh. Easy there darling." Then he saw her torso. His eyes widened. "Alright, come on. There's a hospital not too far from here. Big cities like Karakura have proper healers." She lamented the lack of ability to help herself, before asking him a question that made a lot of sense. Granted the others did too. "I'm...not entirely sure where I stand with the Gotei United right now. Different administration and ruling...ah right, you weren't around. The Gotei has reformed itself. I assume a more modern and probably effective administration, at least I hope. I didn't want to try and take you there and have something...unforeseen happen while I'm caring for my unconscious girlfriend." Snopy looked out the window. "Haven't bothered to even inquire about if I could rejoin. I figure that I have all the tools I need to do the same thing, but on my own time. Friends in high places, as they say. Of course now I have you to take into account with my life choices."

Snopy stood up. "You good to walk, or would you prefer I carry you? I definitely want that healed up a bit. I'd...I'd just feel better. And I'm sure you'd feel better if you didn't have those bruises." Snopy walked over to Kanna. If she really didn't want to he wouldn't force her. It wasn't so severe he'd make her do something she'd really object to. If the injury was more serious, then he wouldn't give her the choice.

"They do?" Kanna didn't remember that being a thing before, but her memory was still hazy. She took him at his word; he wouldn't lie to her. When he explained about the Gotei, Kanna was honestly surprised. It was an organization that had stayed around for centuries, so that change was probably not easy for anyone, especially those who had been around for long. "I see. I understand." Kanna nodded and slid her hand into his, weaving their fingers together as she laid her head back on his chest, "Don't worry about it. We'll find a place together. Until then, I think I prefer to get some more rest instead of going to the hospital... I'm bruised, not broken."

Kanna backed toward the bed and pulled him along. She slid into bed, lightly pulling on him so he'd join her. Once he did, she cuddled into him and laid her head on his chest, using him as a pillow. "Please just lay with me for as long as we can... I've missed you so much; I just want to rest here... with you..." Kanna was still tired. Even the hours of sleep before weren't enough to make up for the endless hours of uncomfortable sleep. The wear and tear was enough. Her body needed to recover, and she wanted him with her while she was doing it. Within a few calm silent moments, Kanna fell alseep in his arms.
