Minor Damage: Caused by a single post of gazing for targets of equivalent tier, or two for targets of a higher tier, this effect causes mere nausea, and a faint sense of imbalance, akin to being slightly drunk. It has little impact on a target's ability to fight at this point.
Moderate Damage: Caused by a four posts of gazing from a target a tier above Yaksha, a single post of gazing for targets a full tier below Yaksha's, or two posts of gazing for targets of equivalent tier, this effect causes the target's joints to painfully swell, leaving both fine and gross motion to be difficult and unpleasant, as well as causing their vision to swim, making it hard to make out fine details. Yaksha himself is excluded in this effect, causing him alone to be seen in stark detail as the rest of the world fades to background.
Major Damage: Caused by eight posts of gazing for targets a tier above Yaksha, two posts of gazing for targets a full tier below Yaksha's, a single post of gazing for those three tiers below, or four posts of gazing for targets of an equivalent tier, this effect causes the targets to experience bleeding from their mucous membranes, most notably the eyes and ears. At this point, the target will begin to experience a rapid decline in blood pressure, along with constant twitches that make it hard to remain standing. Those especially unfortunate risk blindness at this level of damage.
Severe Damage: Caused by four posts of gazing for targets a full tier below Yaksha's, two posts from a target three tiers below Yaksha's, or eight from a target of equivalent tier, at this level the user's major organs risk total shutdown, and they enter grand mal seizures, as their own bodies are torn apart by the foreign substances that are introduced by Yaksha's gaze. At this point, only the most skilled of healers can save those who have stared upon Yaksha for too long, and even then they would have a long time of recovery before being battle ready again.
