Bastian Kain [WIP]

Troy walked down the street, with a newly lit cigar in his mouth. He was in a good mood, being that there was little to no trouble going on in the city, aside from this underground operation ran buy some guy named Kidd. Mouse could have been lying the more Troy thought about it, but then again Mouse was to much a coward for such things. He was given the name Mouse from Troy as few around town knew of his ways, if they did little Mouse might be found in a ditch somewhere.

Troy continued on the route when the sound of shouting and yelling got his attention. He looked to see a bunch of kids having what seemed to be a rock fight, which made Troy grin as he looked on. The sound of men shouting would alert Troy that there was more going on than he was seeing. Troy made his way over as he did so the kids would all take off running, though it wasn't from Troy approach. A single man with a weapon in his hand would make his way to the alley entrance and look around. Quickly Troy would duck behind a rather large trash bin, Troy peaked around the can to get a good look at the man. He had the look of a lowlife criminal, and with him openly brandishing a weapon, made him a law breaker. "Time to put in work I guess," he thought as he waited for the man to turn back toward the alley.

Troy made his way to the entrance peaked around the corner, apparently they had trapped someone which from the looks of it didn't bode well for whoever it was. Slowly, Troy turned the corner and eased his way toward the man who had just been at the entrance, he had his back turned slightly as he was talking to someone from the group. "Behind you idiot," the man from the group surrounding Zhang shouted as the guard instinctively ducked and stepped away toward the group. This saved him as Troy had attempted to deliver a swift roundhouse to the back of the man's head, who luckily dodged in the nick of time. "Aw hell, you couldn't have just taken the hit huh," Troy said scratching his head and taking another hit of his cigar,"All of you are under arrest...Zhang?" Troy had begun to say when he noticed that the man that was cornered was Ensign Zhang on of the men on patrol with him. "How the hell did you end up in this mess," he said half smiling,"And where the hell is Ricochet?" His question would have to wait to be answered however, as the guard was now approaching. "You marines have picked the wrong alley," the man said as he brandished his weapon. Troy yawned as the man talked,"You say what now," he asked the man. The man was instantly enraged and shouting, he charged recklessly at Troy making an attempt to slash him clean across the chest in a horizontal fashion. Troy evaded the attack by ducking so that the attack would hit harmlessly over his head. He would follow up the evade by leaping straight up and striking the man directly under the chin. Because the man was shouting the strike to the chin would cause him to bite off the tip of his tongue as the teeth slammed together from the impact.

The man doubled over on the ground holding his hand to his mouth which spurted with blood. He quickly cuffed the criminal who had bitten off his tongue, his right hand to his left foot, and then turned toward the men who had his partner surrounded. Only one seemed to be completely shocked by what happened as he looked at his comrade on the ground. The man would look to Troy who would only smile and nudge his head toward sky, the man would look up perhaps out of sheer stupidity. This would perhaps be an opening that Zhang needed, Troy was curious to see what the cat man could do anyway. If things got to dire, Troy would step in to lend a hand, he gave the cat man a slight wink as he watched what would happen.
