» Appearance Description: Izan is a younge caucasian man who has a lean build, with . He is 180.33999999999997centimeters tall (about 5 feet, 11 inches), making him just about average hieght. His hair is raven black and tends to be slightly spiky. Accoring to him, regardless of how much he tries, his hair never stays straight for more than a mintue.

As far as apparel, he typically is wearing some undershirt, a button down shirt kept open, then jeans socks and sneakers. He himself isn't very picky about what he wears as long as he thinks it 'looks good'. However, he has noticed that he dresses in black and white out of sheer habit from when he was a Shinigami. If he were to step into a crowd of normal people, his outfit and looks would cause him to blend in and almost disappear.

» Personality:

Izan Nagi is what many calls the energetic nerd. The fact that he had once been apart of the research division shows, as he will randomly justmake inventions for fun. Examples of this trait are many, such as a bomb that turns an area into a rave, or gumballs that can taste like anything. Ontop of that he loves to study new things and abilities. His favorite area to study is humans with spiritually aware humans, as the powers seem to have no limit or set theme.

Izan has a somewhat mild obsession with Star Wars, sweets, and manga. He discovered these things when he fled to the human world. His main obsession with sweets is that they help keep him awake during late night experimentation/invention, although he does admitedly have a love for chocolate. Star Wars he is interested in do to what he calls "if Kido existed in a science fiction land." Manga itself he is interested in do to it inspiring him to make several custom Kido.

Izan is an optimist, always trying to look on the bright side. An example of this would come from discovering that his Zanpakutō was a murder at one point during its human life. While most would find it unsettling and likely refuse to use their Zanpakutō, Izan saw this as something good as he had a feeling his Zanpakutō Spirit would have made a deadly hollow. This applies to his outlook on inventing too. Failure is merely finding a way something doesn't work.

In combat, Izan is calm and calculative. He doesn't spend time talking or yelling the name of his attacks, rather focusuing on measuring his opponent's abilities and how to adapt to them. Rather than his usual energetic and self, when in combat like this his mind's energy is entirely focused on the fight, thus focusing the rest of him too.

Favorite Food: Flipz, Pockey, Ramune, Mountain Dew Voltage

Least Favorite: anything spicy and MOST seafood

» Zanpakutō Name: Satsujin

» Zanpakutō Spirit Appearance:
Satsujin looks to be somewhere in her early to mid-teens. She is typically wearing dresses in a punk-gothic lolita style, though she has been seen several times in her school uniform, and a white dress. She has purple-blue hair spiked up in a punk style and dark eyes, and her skin is dark.

» Zanpakutō Spirit Personality:

Satsujin has a chaotic persona, one moment she can be sweet and joking around, and the next ready to kill you for fun or just becaus she doesn't like you. The only constant is her mock-childish manner. She has a childlike need to be entertained at all times, normally yanking Izan into her world. She has also shown signs of sadism and seems to enjoy the suffering of others. She has tortured multiple people, and killed many in her past.

» Inner World: Izan's inner world is one that...well you could probably see this coming. Its a Sci-Fy science lab. Tubes full of stange green liquid, a plasma ball, way too many schematics, that kinda stuff. Inside one of these tubes is his inner hollow.

Sealed Zanpakutō Appearance: Its a serrated Kattana. Though of average size, its out line of it is serrated, in fact it seems to have chains around it like a chainsaw. It has switch under the hilt there is a switch, which when pressed makes the chains move like a chainsaw. The hilt is covered in a think metal the same as the Zanpakutō that has no opening. It it is designed to, when he touches it, make an opening for his hand to get in, then form around his wrist, making the perfect hand guard. Before he became 10th seat it was merely a regular kattana, all of these are modifications he made to the Zanpakutō it's self.

» Release Phrase: Fire at Will

» Shikai Appearance: Pretty much the sealed form, but shinier... no seriously. The blade is all around shinier, so much that is glows. The tip its self (where Kido "bullets" are fired from) glows the brightest. Now including modifications made by the Izan Nagi: that guard earlier goes all the way up his arm, making some what of a gauntlet, elbow pad, the armor around the fore arm and lower arm, and a big shoulder pad. The chains also make sparks in this form.

» Shikai Abilities:

Kido Bullet- He can shoot kido in bullet form. The effect, even size in case of AOE, and end result are the same, but it is the size and speed of the shot is like a bullet. Not a bullet by normal standards, as even unlisted shinigami can dodge those. To put it into perspective, Kido Bullet is to Character of equal rank of Izan, as normal bullet is to normal person. dodgeable, but a pain.

Elemental Blade - It can apply the element of a kido to the blade its self. The chains around it can also disappear and appear according to the user's will, and turn into an element.

» Bankai Appearance: the weapon becomes a GIANT guillotine blade which is very light despite its appearance, his wife described it as holding a dagger. It has a chain attached to his arm, which can grow up to 80 feet. hand guard disappears completely. He also gains a black headsman's cloak.

» Bankai Abilities:

First lets cover the first two abilities, linked to the guillotine itself. The first is an increase of area of effect for Kido and Cero/Bala. This effectively could make Hadō Number 4 (White Lightning) the size of Blue Fire. How big the multiplier is depends on Kido Skill. This power alone ONLY increases AOE, not damage. This, like the second power, is done passively.

The third ability is one he must consciously use, his cloak. The cloak must do one of two things. One, stop any ONE attack of someone his rank or lower, per two posts. Or, it made destroyed to increase the effect of one of the former abilities to the next rank for one post. This may only happen ONCE PER THREAD.

» Inner Hollow Description:
The mask of the beast is a strange one. The head/mask is that of a goat if it was demonized, and given a white spike on the end of its chin. The top part, except the nose, and the front of the mouth and chin are black, while the rest remained white. It has two spiral white horns, one on each side of the face. The body is covered in several skeletal plates, along with bug like legs, with spikes on the end. On the middle part of the torsos, it has several long clawed hands. Unless it is atempting to take the body again, it is kept in one of the tubes of the Science Lab.



» Inner Hollow Personality: Despite its looks, Izan's inner hollow is fully capable of speech, and infact sounds just like a normal human. It is also just as smart, if not smarter, than Izan himself. This hollow embodies the part of him that Izan doesn't want to ever come to take control: the part that puts science above morals. Think of it as your average mad scientist: anything and everything is a test subject and shall be tested on whether it wants to or not.

» Inner Hollow Powers:

Negative and Positive Reishi attacks- An ability that only Izan's inner Hollow has, and allows Izan to use when weilding the mask. This combines Negative and Positive Reishi into attacks to create a new and powerful version. This treats any spiritual attack as strong a teir above what he is. (so it could go from 3.1-3.2)

Regeneration- Izan's inner hollow has the ability to recover from nearly any wound, except head and heart damage.

Negative and Positive Reishi MAXIUM- Combining these two is no longer just using one to empower the other, it is both becoming one. This allows him to combine separate techniques to make a new one. This can range from simply combining Cero and Bala to combining Hadō Number Sixty-Six with Garganta to create a portal effect.

Master Regeneration- the only way to stop Izan is to turn him into scattered cells. However, he can regenerate from said cells. The only draw back is that he cannot harm anyone in during this time without causing a LARGE amount of damage to himself, thus setting the time left for him to heal back by weeks.

» Background:


Life

Izan was born in the Kanto Region of Japan. It was a huge city, millions of houses, cooperation towers, busy streets, and those who visited called it a "mini Tokyo." The city was normal accept for one thing: millions of disappearances. For some reason people would disappear, no bodies, no nothing. Little did they know that their city was a huge bundle of spiritual pressure, and thus many a hollow came to this area for food. Izan, somehow, managed to avoid being eaten for most of his young life. He went to school, like a normal kid. Got out of high school, like a normal kid. Was horrified for his life cause of all the disappearances, like a normal person, and went to be 14. By then he was considered a fourteen year old genius. He was walking home with his girlfriend, alone, when suddenly, it was black. The next time he woke up, he was in in the middle of some street, no idea what happened, no idea where he even was.

Soul Society and Training.

Waking up in some unknown area, confused on what happened. Confused he looked around trying to find out where he was. After hundreds of people just down right ignoring him like he was just someone who wanted attention, an old man explained he was in the soul society, where souls of the good went to live. After hearing his stomach growl, he asked the man if he knew where he could get some food, prompting a laugh from him till the man realized he was serious. The man said he should look for some men in a black robe with kattana. A week would pass till he found one, and until then he would have dreams of some voice calling to him and teasing him, though few words got through. He always saw some cute girl, who seemed to always be smirking and have some sweet in her mouth. He didn't know why but part of him wanted to find her, and part of him wanted her to go away.

He eventually found a man in the black robe, with the Japanese sword. When asking for food, the man asked him a lot of questions, little did he know it was him seeing if he showed signs of being a Shinigami. When the man thought he showed the signs he took him to the barracks, feeding him, getting him back to top condition, and then asking him to enroll in the academy. A day later, seeing as he had nothing else to do, he joined the academy.

Here he was enrolled, and trained. He was decent in most assets, but excelled in Kido, especially Hadō, knowing Shot-of-Red-Fire when most people knew only push, bound lightning and shot of white lightning. He passed, and was given a short test to decide what squad he was gonna join, and resulted in him being an unseated Kido Corps member, AKA the go-for.

Gaining rank in the Kido Corps

As stated before, being an unseated member of the Kido Corps, he was the go-for. Izan fetch this, Izan fetch that, Izan drink this and tell me how many organs you throw up. He was occasionally sent to kill a hollow but mostly he was the go fetch this guy. As usual in the soul society, people died, ranks opened up, but it would take two years for him to be put in a seat. This was because he was sent on a mission with a low seated member to take out a few hollows, all supposedly base hollows. This seated member happened to be his girlfriend, and the two, over the years, had re kindled their relationship. Taking down the three normal was easy, until they found out one of them was a Gillian, nearly killing his girlfriend. This through Izan into a rage, so much that he almost didn't care what happened to the Gillian. Sadly, he was unable to land a hit ignoring a few burns from the edges of Shot-of-Red-Fire. Suddenly he found himself hearing that girl's voice again. She told him she would give him her power, seeming to like his lack of remorse at the moment. When learning her name, he yelled it, and his Zanpakutō gained a stronger form, though he could tell he was stronger, he didn't notice much of a difference. He heard her again and got a vague idea of her power, and instantly began barraging the Gillian with kido bullets, destroying pieces of its body. As he began to loose energy, his rage subsided, and he looked at the hollow, its arms gone and one leg limp do to lightning shots at certain tendons. He raised his sword and slashed at its mask, the spirits it had eaten sent to where they belong and the spirit its self soon to head to the soul society. After this he gained the rank of 12th seat.

Becoming a Visard

Ten years later, do to his experience with Shikai, he mastered his Shikai, thus allowing him to meet the requirements for Lieutenant. He was given the rank immediately, as the current Lieutenant was merely a filler till someone actually met the requirements, do to the last one having been killed. Twenty years after that, he managed to manifest Satsujin, who then proceeded to attack him in a berserk-er manner, holding the Bankai in her hand, caring little for anything but killing him. When doing this he was unable to use Shikai against her since it was her release and she knew how it worked easily. Thus he had to fight her on her level, brute force and blade to blade combat, barely winning. When he won she smirked and laughed, stated that that was just how her Bankai should be used, since she hated its ability, and granted him the ability to use it, as well as the release phrase. He did not reveal he knew it until years later the day of his captain's death. Seventy-Eight years later, he and his captain where sent on a mission to take out a powerful hollow. Unfortunately, on this mission the captain was killed, and the hollow had made a major blow to him, a strange liquid hitting his body. Again in the midst of combat, Satsujin goaded him for being weak and useless. Though he was still a bit away from mastering Bankai, Satsujin pointed out that if he didn't use it, they would surely die. While only able to have it active for a short time, he managed to destroy the hollow with it, sending the soul to where it belonged, and barely managing to come out alive. While stumbling his way back to the medical corps, he could hear something, something that sounded like a light whisper, but what he did not know. Long story short, he made it to the 4th squad barracks, got healed, was made captain, and kept that position for about two weeks.

Two weeks later he was walking with his girlfriend, on a mini date since neither of them had anything to do at the moment. Suddenly, the process started, and Izan fell to his knees in shock, his girlfriend rushing off to get help. But, do to taking too long, by the time she got back, he was gone. He had barely defeated his inner hollow, who had explained everything in thier fight. Fearing being killed for what he had become he fled, and there was no trace. The Soul Society, after finding no leads, presumed he had died as a Shinigami falsely took the credit for killing him during the hollowfication process even though he was never there. He fled to the human world, staying where he was, laying low not wanting to die.

» Kagaku traveled with the group, though he was slightly behind the rest. Not because he was slow, heck he was the lightest person there, but he was a bit side tracked. He was collecting various plant samples as they went along, be it close to the ground or in the trees. Sure he could pay for them later, but it was much cheaper to just grab some and put them in jars. Luckily for him his extremely light body and above-average normal strength allowed him to keep up with the others, or at least Shoumen. Kagaku, though his face didn't show it, was very excited. Not only is he getting multiple samples of plants were indigenous to this region, but he'd finally get to see the Hideaki hijutsu in action. He had always been curious about their strange ink based abilities. Shoumen also had more tatoos than the average Hideaki, which made him all the more interesting. Unlike many other scientists, Kagaku had no interest in the Nibi Jinchuuriki. He had seen multiple in his decades of living. He knew of their speed, fire, and cat like attitude. Kagaku had learned all the data he was capable of learning without cutting one open, and none of them were willing so it didn't matter to him.

Kagaku had his familiars with him on this mission, well the fast ones at least. Do to the environment that meant everyone but Tsuchi. Esper, Eve, and Raiden had all split up to look for ingredients. Raiden checking the trees, while Esper and Even stayed together and covered a wider area on the ground with Kagaku. Nami was checking under water for ingredients, as well as keeping an eye out for predators. Each had their own way to avoid damage. Both Raiden and Esper could sense what was going on around them, and Raiden and Eve could out run anything there on land. Nami of course had the advantage of her camouflage and natural speed in the water. Esper could likely outrun most animals and those that could outrun her would be beaten by her nimbleness and human intelligence. Kagaku had nothing to worry about.

When they arrived at the bog, Kagaku watched the jinchuuriki show off. The look on his face showed he couldn't be less interested. He turned towards Shoumen to finally speak throughout this journey. "You go next, I still have to gather ingredients.", He said, before picking up some flowers and placing them in jars. He would go last, and likely the easiest way: riding on the back of Nami. True it was hard, but for barely any chakra at all he could be glued to her back while she swam him across the bog. Of course he would wait until Shoumen was across, at which point the rest of his familiars would arrive. Eve would hop on Kagaku's shoulder and ride with him, while Raiden would get just stay in a near by tree. Esper would hop along the longs and rocks with her cat like body, making it across without so much as a drop of water on her.
