» Personality:
Mari is a soldier. There is no other word for her when it comes to being a Quincy. She is the kind of person who is loyal to the death and will often put the mission before the lives of her teammates. She believes that if you called off a mission every time your life or someone else’s life was in jeopardy, not only does that make you a coward, but it also means that nothing would ever get done. This is not to say that she believes people’s lives are meaningless, but she doesn’t think that you should risk everything to for the sake of a single person. And complaining about things is just a waste of time that would be better spent doing a job that probably isn’t worth your words anyway. She doesn’t question the orders she is given, seeing all orders in the sense of how they’ll effect things in the long run. She always takes the side of her superiors in any argument, mostly because of the deep-seated respect she has for those who fought and clawed their way up to the top.
Though she acts very professional and a bit cold to people she doesn’t know very well, Mari thaws out very quickly to people and will warm up to after only three or four encounters. After that, she’ll act almost completely different around you. She shows a rather childish and eager side to those friends that she trusts with all her heart. She can act very immature, but only when she knows that there is no chance the people around her will judge her for it. Keeping up with her is tiring, however, for she is very loud, rambunctious and laid-back, and doesn’t hesitate to speak her mind. She is very aggressive and may be taken as somewhat of a bitch since it never occurs to her to censor what she is saying. She is just speaking her mind, as loud as she can. And boy is she loud. Mari loves to share with the people around her, whether the news is a new emotion or a new kitten.
Mari’s second most noticeable feature is her perpetual honesty. She hates lying, she hates liars, and she prides herself at never having told a lie (that she remembers). If you don’t think someone can handle the truth, then you should not tell them the truth, but don’t feed them a lie that will cause them to self-destruct. She dislikes liars, she dislikes lying, and she dislikes it when she has no choice but to lie.
And as for her number one most noticeable feature…this is something that people notice before she even opens her mouth. Actually, most people could notice it from across the room. No matter what mood Mari is in or what her circumstances are at the moment, there is always a feral air about her. The air around her is tense and energetic, like a bomb waiting to explode. She always has a chaotic, wild and unpredictable air about her, as if she could fly off the handle at any moment. Though she usually keeps herself under control, release is necessary and when she lets herself go, she really lets herself go. She always seems to be restless and burning. She is almost like a formally wild dog that is domesticated…you can make sure it obeys you and you can make it enjoy the home, but you can never take away its rough edges.

Karakura Town, Japan. Nineteen years ago, on January 1st, Mari Makinami was born into a family of quincies. From her very first day of living, she was taught the ideals and the pride of the quincy. She was taught that the quincy were superior to humans in every way, that being "Equal" with them wasn't an option, and that the powers of the quincy dwarfed that of the shinigami as well. On top of being a student at Karakura High, she was also taught Quincy History, techniques, and the like by her father. She was a fast and capable learner, having a materialized bow by age 8.
While in Middle School, her mother, a quincy who specialized in the art of the Ginto, was killed by an arrancar, a male, with black hair and pale green eyes. She didn't get the name of the arrancar. But she had WATCHED as the sadistic fucker ripped her mom into pieces. She swore a grudge against the asshole and named her only goal as getting revenge against her.
At age 14, she finished the majority of her training, and left the house to seek a more experienced tutor. Mari found out later that her father had been killed, and this news only dampened her spirit. With both of her parents dead, and no other family that she knew of, Mari went into solitude. Hiding in a cave in Karakura Forest, Mari hid herself away from the world. She spent the five years between then and her current age constantly training, developing a new technique by mixing her bow and the ginto tubes and gifts her father and mother had trusted her with, and working on her research to produce a special gun of her own design.. one that could fire ginto at extreme speeds and distances. She only came out once... at the four year mark, she visited her parents graves. It was there she met Montegue, a demon with a crooked smile who offered her power to avenge her parents, at the cost of her soul if she were ever to become weak again. She, gladly, accepted. Armed with her custom techniques, and the new training that she had collected over the five years, Mari set out into the world.
After a while, she met the captain Solas Foiche, whom she had fallen in love with, and eventually had lost just like her parents before her. Broken and battered, she now wanders Earth, devoid off purpose or reasoning as she simply tries to keep herself from ever becoming weak, lest she break the terms of her deal with Montegue.

- Human Skills:
Overbearing Intelligence: When Mari was IQ tested, the test actually failed her because there was an automatic cheat prevention system in place at the time, and it was impossible to score perfectly. Her brain is hard-wired for knowledge and data absorption, allowing her to instantly remember and store any input from any of her five senses. She could remember the after taste of a dish she had five years ago, or the feeling of a particular knot on a particular tree during one of her journeys. Her analytical abilities match this, and augment her intelligence even further. She can plan, plot, watch, research, note, and the like during any situation, even under high stress, or in the middle of a largely chaotic area. This makes her a master strategist, on top of her already super-computer levels of brain function.
Multilingual: Mari knows English, Spanish, Japanese, Russian, German, and Italian. Her primary language, and in fact her FAVORITE language, however, is Latin. Although the language is, by all accounts, dead, she speaks it fluently, oftentimes slipping into it when angered, or passionate about something. She loves the way it sounds, the way the words roll off of the tongue, and especially the fact that it seems no one knows it, so any insults or terms she throws out are usually greeted with your general "bwuh??" or other such terms of confusion and cultural ignorance.
Enhanced Agility and Reflexive Instinct: Years in gymnastics courses as a child coupled with lots of strenuous agility training she put herself through means that she is far more agile than your average human, and far more flexible as well. This allows her some interesting positions to be able to bend herself into, which is useful for dodging and maneuvering, especially around the kind of opponents that flood the very air with a seemingly endless torrent of attacks.
Inhuman Endurance: For reasons not quite apparent by looking at the surface, Mari's body is able to take insane amounts of damage. Her skin has been hardened to the point where one below her level who would be attacking her could confuse her with some sort of abyssal demon, incapable of taking damage at all. Hit her in the face with an airplane carrier, she'll MAYBE blink. Smash her over the head with a mass of land like an asteroid? She'll start feeling it. Is there a mosquito in here somewhere?
Master Archer: When a Quincy becomes more skilled using their Bow, they gain more power and precision with their arrows. This is similar to how a marksman gains skill and hits the target more frequently. Mari has greatly increased her power and skill throughout her trials and tribulations, and is a prime example of this growth. She has great accuracy, able to fire two arrows at the same time in two separate directions, killing their targets (Hollows) instantly, one-handed. On top of this, Mari's maximum arrow count for any one firing session is 3000, reaching the upper limits of possibility for one as frail and young as Mari is.
- Path Control: Mari is able to curve her arrows' path after firing them, effectively making miniature heat-seeking missiles, but instead of locking on to heat, they target whatever enemy they have. It is unknown how long Mari can control the arrow's path, or if there is a limit to how many can be under her control. So far, she has only fired 3 simultaneously using this method.
- Negation of Attacks: Mari can fire her arrows with pinpoint precision to the point where they negate another attack on impact. To do this, she charges the arrows with a sufficient amount of power and fires them to strike an incoming projectile.
- Arrow Ricochet: Mari can ricochet individual shots off of walls to shoot around corners, make the direction of her attacks unpredictable, and change the direction of her shots while in flight.
High Spiritual Power: Mari has displayed a high amount of spiritual energy. She has obviously mastered the Quincy ability of Reiryoku absorption, taking in reishi and spirit energy alike. This, on top of her own energy reserves, lends her plenty of strength in combat.
Expert Swordsman: Mari has been shown to be exceptional in the use of the Seele Schneider, using the quincy weapon to easily hold off many opponents at close range when the distance is closed. However, Mari's lack of strength means that she can only fight for so long, and she can't block the stronger melee attacks without a considerable amount of damage to her own person, so her skill with the sword is mostly used only to hold an enemy off until she can get to a farther distance away.
Hirenkyaku: The flash step of the Quincy, slightly faster than Shunpo of they are to be believed. Mari is almost on-par with the fastest recorded users of this technique, being able to move from place to place fast enough that one might think she was teleporting.
Reiryoku Absorption & Manipulation: Mari as a Quincy primarily absorbs spiritual energy from the atmosphere, and combines it with her own spiritual energy to form weapons. She has an easier time collecting this energy in environments with higher concentrations of spiritual particles, such as Soul Society or Hueco Mundo. To a sufficiently powerful Quincy, there is no difference between spiritual particles and spiritual energy as a source of power. She can manipulate spiritual energy for offensive purposes. Mari most commonly reshapes spiritual particles into her bow and arrows, but can also concentrate spiritual energy into the form of swords (Seele Schneider) or Gintō.
Spiritual Awareness: As a Quincy, Mari can sense Hollows at a significant distance. She can even tell what direction it's in. It goes beyond this, though. She has an innate ability to instantly be able to discern an opponent's race based on spiritual signature. This isn't always true,
Platform Manifestion: Mari has the ability to condense spiritual energy in the form of a platform, lifting herself and others up into the air. She can easily summon more than one platform at will, controlling their speed, size, and direction at a whim. Mari can create up to 10 platforms at once to use them in battle.
Hirenkyaku Expert: Mari is able to move at tremendous speed, matching that of real grandmasters of this area. Since Hirenkyaku is generally a bit faster than Shunpo, she also is a bit faster than experts of Shunpo, able to maneuver easily and keep herself fluid, never falling into static or predictable patterns while fighting. Sonido seems to be roughly the same speed, however. On top of all of this, Mari is just.. insanely fast. Her specialty is speed, and she shows it in every movement. Fast reflexes, insane reaction speed, and a grace to rival the elves of lore. Every action is poised, precise, and fast on a level nearly unmatched.
Licht Regen: First more Reishi than usual are stored inside the bow, before the Quincy uses Hirenkyaku to get over the enemy, and release a barrage of arrows at once. The number of Arrows depend on the kind of bow used. Mari, over the years, has increased the lethality of this attack considerably by having each arrow overload with the surrounding reishi just before impact, turning each arrow into a land-mine of sorts, each "mine" carrying a cero's wallop.
Licht Wind: Basically an identical ability to Licht Regen, the only difference is that instead of firing from above, this ability is fired directly at the opponent from a standing position.
Kirchenlied: Sankt Zwinger (聖唱 (キルヒエンリード・サンタズイガー), Kiruhienrīdo: Santa Zuingaa; German for "Church Hymn: Saint Ward", Japanese for "Chant of the Gods: Santa Zwinger"): A powerful Quincy spell that creates an area of Reishi shaped with countless Quincy cross protruding from the ground, though with unseen effects, it was described as "the spell of maximum protection among the Quincy techniques of offense and defense" and stating that the "light of the lord" will hit, or "strike dead" anything that comes within its limits. Mari can use this to shield allies, or to provide herself a safe area to heal outside of combat.
Ransōtengai: This is a high level technique that allows the user to control their body parts using strings of spirit energy controlled by their brain, forming lines or strings out of countless spiritrons. By using this technique, the user can control their body as one would a puppet, allowing them to move freely despite paralysis, broken limbs, or any other force that would impede normal movement. It was originally created to allow elderly Quincy to fight effectively
Sprenger (破芒陣, shupurenga; German for "Explosion", Japanese for "Ripping Grass Formation"): This technique uses five Seele Schneider to create a pentagon-shaped seal which, when activated, causes a massive explosion within its borders. The Seele Schneider function as accumulators, gathering the necessary amount of reishi to create the explosion with the liquid inside a Gintō acting as the trigger.
However, there's also a drawback. The preparations needed to successfully execute this technique, combined with the charging time for the Seele Schneider, make Sprenger's use in battle impractical unless the user has a partner that can stall their opponent in order to buy time. It is one of the most powerful Quincy attacks seen so far.
Gert Schneider: Another ginto technique, similar to Sprenger. Using small cuts made on the opponent's body with a Seele Schneider, Mari launches a ginto tube at the enemy, which stops directly before impacting with them. A box of reishi forms around the enemy, formed from their own reiatsu that the ginto tube leeches from the cuts. However, this is not a crippling or even a weaking amount. Infantile, really. Mari then tosses a Schneider at the tube, breaking it open and releasing the stored reishi as it compresses the box, slowly compressing the reishi onto the enemy. Whatever effect this has, or if it effects at all, is up to the opponent's strength and speed.

QUINCY SKILLS
- Quincy Items:
Seele Schneider: One of the most basic Quincy Tools, this bladed arrow consists out of many vibrating and spinning spiritual blades. Their extremely fast vibration makes them able to disrupt any spiritual or solid object they hit, basicially meaning: They can cut through anything not resistant against spiritual energy or vibrating at the same speed. Only things vibrating faster can actually break the blade. Once they cut something spiritual, it sets free spiritual energy from the hit spot, which then will be absorbed by the Quincy, into the blade itself, increasing it's energy and length. Once fired as an arrow, it has great force, since it is still vibrating very fast and will unleash a nearly unblockable explosion should it hit. The hilt will remain and be useable again. Mari carries ten Seele Schneiders.
Gintō (銀筒, Silver Tubes): Gintō are small liquid-filled capsules that store Reiryoku, and are used by the Quincy for spell casting in the same way that Shinigami use Kidō. Like Kidō, they are activated by calling out various commands. Mari carries roughly 20 of these.
- Heizen (聖噬 [ハイゼン], Haizen; German for "Heating", Japanese for "Sacred Bite"): Instantly gouges and purges whatever is enclosed in the space within the four tossed gintō. It is tremendously effective even against a Menos Grande.
- Gritz (五架縛 [グリツ], Gurittsu; Japanese for "Five Rack Ties"): A film of Reishi emitted from a thrown Gintō surrounds the enemy.
- Wolke (緑杯 [ヴォルコル], Vorukōru; German for "Cloud", Japanese for "Green Cup"): Cushions the impact of a fall with Reiryoku contained inside a Gintō.
Ginto Rifle: The rifle that Mari can materialize from thin air is no ordinary weapon. An amazing innovation of Mari's own design, this rifle will fire miniature Ginto Tubes at about 812 mph. She can hit a bullseye with this rifle from 2,707 yd away using the scope.
- Quincy Cross:
Croix de Sang (lit. "Cross of Blood"): Mari's Quincy cross is a tad unorthodox. Around her neck, Mari wears a wooden pendant, on that pendant is carved a standard cross, with one difference. The end of each "branch" of the cross is twisted horribly into what appears to be a screw., each screw carved to appear as if it's drenched in blood. This quincy cross was given to her by her father, who's father gave it to him, and so on, but when Mari acquired it, she made sure she would be the only one to use it, binding it to her own blood. In fact, the only way Mari can use her cross is to actually splash her own blood on the pendant itself.

SPIRITUAL WEAPON
- Type: Sniper Crossbow
- Appearance:
Mari's spiritual weapon is, in essence, the ultimate in deadly accuracy. Take the base of a compound crossbow, and add a scope onto it, hyper-charge the shots with spiritual energy, and you have a weapon that can hit a moving target in a vital area from almost a mile away. The shots it fires don't help this guise any, as Mari's spiritual weapon fires arrows that are as twisted as she is. From the center outward, each arrow twists as if it were put in a corkscrew, coming to a sharp and menacing point at the front, almost like a stake. On top of this, each individual arrow rapidly vibrates the individual reishi particles, not at a rate fast enough to shatter Zanpakutō or anything, but at a rate fast enough to super-heat the arrows, giving them a melting and burning effect as well as their deadly strike.
Abilities:
Deadly Speed and Accuracy
Without the Scope: Mari can easily land shots in vital areas of an opponent from across a battlefield, as long as they aren't in motion or in a process of dodging or blocking. While not using the scope, Mari's shots can fire at an incredible rate, able to blanket the air in front of her with shots from her crossbow as if it were a machine gun. Each individual shot carries the power that one would expect a quincy arrow to carry. The downside to this is the lack of power in each individual shot, and the fact that when firing at these speeds, the burning and melting effect of the arrows doesn't factor into the attacks, and neither does the corkscrew-motion, reducing the overall lethality of each shot greatly.
With the Scope: When using the scope on her crossbow, Mari's shots become an entirely different matter. While aiming down the sight, Mari can only take one shot every couple of seconds or so, not having anywhere near the firing speed of her no-scoped aiming, but each shot carries much more overall lethality than her arrows while not scoped. For starters, her range and accuracy are greatly increased. A mix of breath control and years of intense and sudden training have allowed Mari the luxury of being able to hit a running target in the heart from hundreds of feet away. Of course, the enemy has the option of blocking and dodging at all times, and could easily avoid this. However, if Mari DOES manage to get a direct hit, it has two immediate effects. The first being the initial damage, twice that of her normal no-scoped arrows, and the second being the damage done by burning and melting effects of the shots, along with the corkscrew-pattern of the arrows. Let's say that an enemy was standing in front of a metal wall, and Mari hit them in the shoulder. The arrow would not only hurt the enemy if it made contact, but if the enemy's defenses weren't developed enough, the heat and corkscrew motion of the arrow combined could cause the arrow to not only pierce the enemy's shoulder, but also the wall behind the enemy, the heat of the arrow welding the wall to itself almost instantly, creating a sort of spike on the wall that would also happen to be sticking out of the enemy.
- Reishi Color: Toto's reishi starts as a light violet color, but when affected by her Vollstandig, it turns a sinister blood red.

VOLLSTANDIG SECTION
- Name: Sang Règnes (lit. "Reign of Blood")
Mari wears a pair of white gloves with an intricate pentagram on the back of each. To activate her Vollständig, Mari raises her hands in a rectangle-like motion in front of one of her eyes, closing it and re-opening it to reveal a blood-red iris in place of the former color, as her entire body is shrouded in shadow, before an explosion of reishi occurs, and her Vollständig is revealed

Enhanced Hirenkyaku: Mari's already impressive speed gets another step up, giving her an even further advantage when it comes to mobility on the field. At this point, Her Hirenkyaku gains an almost Sonido-like quality to it, creating a burst of sound waves with each use. However, this burst is akin to a sonic boom, and is used primarily to disorient opponents, though it also shows JUST how fast Mari is going at this stage.
Increased Rate of Reishi Absorption: Mari's Vollständig comes with an increased "ammunition" supply, of sorts. Anything around her that's made up of reiatsu is hers to break down and turn into its base form for use in her attacks. Whether it be the environment around her, buildings, or even other projectiles if they're weak enough. Stronger projectiles, such as a Gran Rey Cero, would break down slightly, but ultimately not much before making contact anyway, as Mari wouldn't be able to dissolve them fast enough. This also cannot be used against abilities with protections against such things.
Customized "Blut": During Vollständig is the only time that Mari can use an ability similar to Blut, and for good reason. Mari has her own, customized version of Blut, perfected over years of power development. To use it, Mari holds up her Pendant, placing a single drop of blood in the center of the cross, followed by a ginto tube on top of the blood. When she does this, her entire aura changes slightly, her usually light reiatsu replaced by a dark and sinister red as the reishi around her begins twisting and corkscrewing into Mari's bloodstream. When using her version of Blut, Mari's arrows all have the effect of her licht regen arrows, charging and exploding just before impact. As well as this, the speed of her arrows increases significantly, as does her offensive power in general, as this technique is the embodiment of Blut Arterie. Her speed, attack strength, accuracy, etc, are all improved almost tenfold, but at a great cost. Her defensive ability, as little as it already was, is drained to make this possible, leaving her in a weakened state, personally. It wouldn't take many hits in this state to eliminate her entirely.
Moqueur (lit. "Mockingbird"): Mari's coup de grâce is an ability that she brands as her own. If an attack, say.. a Cero, was imbued with a special property, whether that property be ice, fire, an explosive charge, dizziness, or what have you, and that attack were to hit Mari while she's bleeding, Mari has the ability to pull ONE property from that ability that hit her (Say if a Cero was Fire and Ice, Mari could pull fire OR ice from it, but not both). When she does this, Mari can use that property in the next arrow she fires, but ONLY in that arrow. She gets ONE shot per property she "mimics".

» The Spirit's Personality:
Montegue is a scheming bokor who tricks his victims into making deals with him. He can read their past and present with his tarot cards; he then looks into their futures as well, and offers to "change it 'round some." However, the deals he makes usually backfire on the victim, though Montegue isn't exactly dishonest as he does give them exactly what he promised, even though it isn't what his victims had in mind. Montegue is indeed suave, smooth-talking and often charming, but also cruel, remorseless and sadistic. A charismatic performer, Montegue is a smooth-talker of drama and showmanship. A glutton for power, Montegue controlling and vindictive, doing whatever he can to get what he wants. He is highly Machiavellian as shown by his manipulation of Mari into helping her under false pretenses. Montegue does not underestimate the powers of nature.
Despite this complete lack of morals and a treacherous nature, Montegue's motivations are hinted at briefly. Montegue frequently sympathizes with the downtrodden or poor, implying that his own past may have been similar.

Some demons try for luck. Some for power. Montegue? He just wanted some fun.
Roaming the world of the living was an incredibly boring task. Most humans wouldn't look twice at a strange man offering them the deal of a lifetime. They were all either too busy, too unattentive, or too strong willed. It really was rather irritating. However, when he finally found someone broken enough to accept... it was perfect. Here she was, kneeling in a graveyard... a quincy, by the reiatsu signature. She said, simply, that she felt weak. Montegue latched onto this immediately. He told her that he could make her stronger, make her powerful.. but at a price of her soul if she ever becomes this weak again. Nodding, Mari accepted the deal, binding Montegue to her soul and fulfilling the demon's evil wish..
The Spirit's Powers

Ziamichi Spirit Powers:
None. Montegue gifted all his power to Mari upon making the contract with her. However, he does still retain enough strength to take over if she ever becomes weak enough, as per the deal. If this were to happen, he would take not only his own power back, but all of hers as well, completely possessing her body and essentially turning her into another being, one devoid of all emotion and caring, one with a fusion of her quincy powers and his own demon strength. A truly terrifying combination. When this happens, her body will take on the appearance of her Vollstandig form entirely and permanently.

Ziamichi Powers
Unique Traits:
Black Blood:
Mari's blood has been entirely replaced with a "black blood". This dark and twisted life-essence can be used, under her complete control, for a few different purposes.
1.) It can harden, inside or outside of her body. When the blood is hardened, any physical attacks will be completely useless against her. However, elemental and spiritual attacks can still harm her.
2.) Any cuts made on her body bleed slower than a normal being, almost as if she were bleeding molasses. Another side of this is that she actually has a certain degree of healing, able to retract the blood back into her body, but not able to close the wound with this ability.
3.) Mari has the strange ability to manifest her shadow as a being of black blood. able to attack from two directions at once with the same strength for three posts.
4.) Mari can also generate black blood from her feets in a strange, spiky vines appearance, stabbing outward for kicks or sticking to surfaces for traction.
5.) Her black blood also allowed her to create wings for flying. Said wings can carry her at lightning speeds, while leaving a wind gust strong enough to propel her to the moon, or push over a skyscraper, if she so wished.
Ragnarok:
A demon blade. In its large weapon form, Ragnarok takes the form of a large black Scandinavian broadsword with a grey hilt, a white stripe down the middle and spikes around the guard. This blade is accessible to Mari at any time, materializing from seemingly thin air. This blade is the core of a lot of her ziamichi abilities. Along with this, Mari has the ability to form a third arm on her back, each arm of hers forming a different blade in it. (A serrated katana, a straight-edged katana, and a rectangular broad blade, respectively, as seen in the image above.) While using the third arm, Mari has access to more attacks, and her speed and strength double.
Screech Beta:
A powerful, cero-strength slash from one of Ragnarok's blades, forming in the shape of a mouth. Said slash moves at relatively fast speed, making a scream as it flies through the air from the energy's rapid movement. This scream gives off extremely high-pitched sound waves, causing some to cringe, falter, or even cover their ears and double over from it, depending on their strength.
Screech Alpha:
This attack is kinda like the screech beta, but instead of simply cutting/wounding the opponent, it explodes on impact. Instead of a slash, as well, the alpha is more of a projectile, moving twice as fast as the beta.
Screech Gamma:
By rapidly slashing, one, two, or even all three blades, Mari can unleash a torrent of sound-wave type strikes that follow the screech form and damage in rapid succession. These strikes screech at such a high pitch, that at certain levels under 1-2 or so, the sound can actually damage an opponent's eardrums after a certain number of blasts with this. 1 to 2 for 5 tiers, 3 to 5 for 4 tiers, 6 to 8 for 3 tiers, 9 to 10 for 2 tiers, 11 to 12 for 1 tiers, and 13 to 16 for 0 tiers. However, if one cannot hear, or if they're resistant to sound, they can resist this entirely. Mari can only use the screech gamma once per post, and it has a one-post recharge.
Screech Delta:
This ability can only be used if Mari is using all three arms at once. By apparently betraying all laws of human movement, Mari can cause her body and arms to spin rapidly, firing the same blasts that the gamma fires in all directions, engulfing the air in the surrounding area, filling it with these blasts, and the high pitched screeching. This attack can only be used once per thread, but it's devastating. The blasts become powerful enough to shatter steel, and the time for possible ear damage for 2 tiers and above is cut in half.
Screech Omega:
The final screech Mari can perform. With all three arms out, Mari can generate screech energy on the end of each, spinning the swords vertically in place, she can create three 'fans" of this energy. At this point, Mari can move her arms to combine the three fans, pulling a hand/sword back and pushing toward the combined energy. As fast as a bullet train on speed, a cone of energy will fire from the fan. Said cone will rotate at hurricane speeds, sending the same high-pitched, high-powered screeching energy through the air, while also decimating anything in its path for half a mile. While it's not impossible to avoid or block, the sheer strength and speed of it make it a monster. This ability can only be used once per thread.
Bloody Needles:
This attack can only be performed when Mari's blood has been spilled.
Mari's can transform any blood of hers that's laying around or on the battlefield into spiky, black needles, that will always shoot in the direction of the opponent. Said needles have the cutting power of a shikai Zanpakutō, and can do substantial damage. If Mari is in vollstandig, these needles take on almost a whirl-wind like shape, and will go after the opponent a second time if they miss the first time.
Bloody Slicer:
By slicing her own wrist, Mari can pull blood out of it in the shape of a blade, making up to two, inward-facing, jagged blades, good for melee combat. Said blades cut deep, and cannot be broken by anything but Mari's will.
Bloody Lance:
With her writs cut, Mari can flick her hand back, her wrist pointed toward the opponent. When she does so, a huge black-blood thorn, starting small but growing to about the size of a house in half a second, launches itself toward the opponent at about a cero's speed, doing roughly the damage of a skyscraper falling on you. This attack can only be used thrice a thread.
Bloody Cloak:
Quite simply, Mari can shroud herself in a shield-shaped cloak of blackened blood. This cloak can only be used thrice a thread, but it's extremely durable. The cloak itself can take about the damage of a gran rey cero before dissolving back into nothing.
The Doubt:
Using a special energy from the black blood, Mari can instigate a form of doubt in the hearts and minds of her opponents. For this ability, she isn't inserting any emotions, nor is she altering them. The energy she emits simply enhances the pheromones they already have. Her opponent, if they feel any doubt at all in their minds or hearts, will feel more and more of it as time passes. Each post brings more and more. The weaker the opponent's willpower, the faster and more drastically the doubt increases. In opponents who are masters of self-confidence, arrogance, or control, however, this ability will have little to no effect. In fact, a major drawback is that if someone IS strong enough to resist it completely, they can also sense the ability, and would be able to send it back at Mari, potentially applying this effect to herself.
Drawbacks: The drawback of Mari's ziamichi powerset is mostly her personality traits. Her coldness to other people and her seclusion from society, along with her not understanding innate mental and emotional traits, and shying away from having real allies. These are all effects of her ziamichi on her mind, heart, and soul.
Control:
Ten. Mari's's ziamichi doesn't have the strength, or the will, to take her over.
