Kei Wakahisa [Belial][WIP]

ENVY'S EMBODIMENT

» Name: Kei Wakahisa [若久ケイ] is the name he identifies with normally, but there is only one name that resonates within him spiritually; Belial, the epithet given to the theological demon that ruled over lies. He has several other names that he could go by, including those that he steals appearances from, though they are never used on casual occasions. Only a select few knows his true name, and they're usually close accomplices. He calls himself Kei, but Belial is what he was to be called at the start.

» Age: Considering the Rakshasa are fairly a recent creation, Kei is only a little above two hundred years old. However, in terms of times as a concept of envy, he existed for more than uncountable millenniums. His appearance also suggests otherwise of his age, since he takes the form of a child.

» Gender: Kei's appearance is reminiscent of a boy, and his anatomy suggests that he is biologically a male. It would much more technically accurate to describe him as gender-neutral, or an it, for that matter. He also refers to himself with male pronouns.

» Written Appearance: Kei isn't what people imagine when asked to think of a demon's appearance in their mind, considering he takes the form of a young boy whose barely of age to think for himself.

NATURAL ABILITIES

» Inhumane Strength: As a Rakshasa demon, it is only natural for Kei to have strength that far outclasses any normal being. He can easily crush rocks in his hands as if they were paper, even to the extent of grinding them into mere dust. His kicks can push himself into the air several hundred feet, which allows for him to maneuver around high grounds with ease and have momentary bursts of speed. Kei's attacks have the potential to shatter human bones with a flick of his wrist. Even nonchalant ones could kill an average human person with a playful finger flick to the forehead. Without even a drop of sweat crawling from between his strands of hair, his childish hands could lift up trucks and toss them away like garbage.

» Shapeshifting: Kei, being the embodiment of envy, has the unique power to shapeshift into anything or anyone. This ability works for undercover operations and stealth missions, as he can transform into an average old human man and blend within the crowds. He can also transform into animals, using their innate abilities and traits as advantage. For example, becoming a dog would allow him to run quite fast--better yet, becoming a cheetah allows him to sprint extremely fast without any trace of suspicion. This can also work on just a partial level, where he can transform parts of his limbs into solid weapons like swords, hammers and use them to his fighting style. The concept of this ability spawns from his jealousy and envy of others--the need and wanting to become something or someone that would make him a better him, hence shapeshifting.

» Dagi Tvaca Abilities: Do you see the dark alleyway, lit from a tiny dim source of light, illuminating all the garbage littered about? Kei's main power lies within the shadows, though they seem to be a different kind of shadow. Don't get it wrong, they only exist where light exists like any shadow--as shadow cannot exist without light, but they are fueled by his envious soul. They are not only dark, but possess sharp teeth and multiple amounts of sharp-slitted eyes. The shadows are flexible in forms, existing as sharp spikes, or tendrils with tiny hands at the end. Kei can manipulate these shadows to his whim, allowing the mouths to devour anything that comes near it, the eyes to look where Kei cannot, and the spikes to sharply slice through anything.



Unfortunately, a large weakness lies within his power to control and manipulate the shadows. As mentioned above, meadows and shades cannot appear without the presence of light around. Thus, if Kei was to be enclosed in a space without light, he will not be able to use his shadows. This doesn't count for nocturnal settings as well, considering the moonlight can produce shadows just as easily. Fire is also a substitute for a source of light, making him almost invincible if he was to team up with a fire manipulator. His envious personality makes it difficult for him to do so, however. His abilities seem to primarily be puns that spawned from his childish personality, though there are some exceptions. Conventional physical attacks do not seem to work against "killing" shadow, though solid weapons can deflect against it.

» Kagejukiri (影十キリ, lit. Shadow Ten Drill): The ability's name is a pun on "shadow tendril." By using the nearby shadows, Kei surrounds himself in the darkness and forms exactly ten large tendrils with it. Then as it coils around him, they form into a large drill spinning at an insane speed. It will slam into the opponent right after where he directs it, and proceed to impale them. The destructive form that this ability packs seem to be quite catastrophic despite its size, as it can easily go through several large buildings within a second. Given enough time during clashes, it can potentially break through skin-hardening powers. By no means is this his most powerful attack, but it does pack quite a punch.

» Kurourami (黒うらみ, lit. Black Spite): Kei extends the shadows underneath him at his opponent(s) in numerous amounts, some with mouths and some with eyes, all from the ground. Once they reach their target, sharp spikes protrude from underneath and hurts them. This ability happens at almost instantaneous speed. It's also incredibly flexible for use, since he can use someone else's shade against them. Like other shadow attacks, enemies could deflect against them or simply dodge them. Granted, they need to be fast enough to do so.

» Sogen Harinezumi (草原ハリネズミ, lit. Meadow Hedgehog): Kei surrounds himself in a ball of shadow, hiding him from view entirely. Then large sharp spikes poke out everywhere like a hedgehog, hence it's name. He begins running around the environment, and dare shall it be said, almost like Sonic the Hedgehog. Its primary purpose is for a functional mobility, as well as using speed as a distraction for opponents. He can flexibly curve around corners with ease, spin on horizontal walls, and jump about like a basketball. Kei almost treats it like a game when he's in the ball, an audible laughter appearing from it too.
