• Personality:
Mari is a strange individual. She seems to always contemplate her words, always careful with what she says. She is extremely possessive and protective of the pendant she wears, refusing to let anyone touch it. Beyond the pendant though, she seems to care about nothing else. She has even been known to state that she doesn't care if someone were to put a knife through her heart. In fact, at various times she has been seen cutting certain areas of her body, though the cuts seem to heal incredibly fast. She does seem to suffer from depression, and tries to isolate herself from other individuals. When forced in to a social situation, she'll often be very vague when talking or very aggressive, to the point of actually attacking individuals for no reason other then she was bored. She doesn't really understand the idea of negative consequences, always laughing when she is told that bad things will happen if she takes an action. She does not seem to have any respect for authority at all, acting as if she is beyond the law.

Natural Attributes & Supernatural Powers
• Natural Attributes:
Bound Being: Mari is technically no longer a living being. Instead, she is a bound being, someone who, through witchcraft, bound their soul to a physical item. While this does prevent her from dying, she most always be within ten feet of the object her soul is bound to, and if the item is broken she will die. The item to which her soul is bound to has its own spiritual pressure, equal to that of Mari's own, making one who can sense spiritual pressures able to detect it and possibly figure out what it is. For Mari, this item is the pendant she always wears, a silver chain with a pentagram and an amethyst set in to it. This pendant has strong protective witchcraft laid in to it, making it far tougher then it normally would be, making it impossible to break accidentally and fairly difficult to break purposefully.
Insane Regeneration: One of the side affects of binding her soul to the pendant is Mari's regeneration. Her body regenerates from injury at an insane rate, making any injury short of a lost limb or injuries to internal organs heal themselves within 1 post. Lost limbs and injuries to internal organs will eventually regenerate, but take far longer then other injuries, taking five posting rounds to fully regenerate themselves. In addition, regenerating limbs and healing internal organs is very draining on her physical body, making her severely exhausted and possibly even causing her to lose consciousness.
• Powers: Mari's power is that of witchcraft, the power to alter reality with just ones words. This is described in the pure ability witchcraft.
• Pure Abilities:
Witchcraft: Witchcraft, the power of altering reality with just ones words. How does this exactly work? It works by pouring intent and spiritual energy in to ones words, which creates an ‘echo’ effect within the very fabric of existence. The less intent and/or spiritual energy poured in to ones words, the weaker the echo that is created, and the weaker the effects of one’s craft. This can range from having effects that take forever to complete, to not causing anything at all. What is the echo created by this ability exactly? An echo in this term is a predetermined act that will happen at some point within the entirety of the space time continuum. This is part of the reasons that just commanding someone to die doesn’t work. It would take an insane amount of energy and intent to not only bypass a being’s general will to live and then force said event to happen in any point in the near future. It would be significantly less draining to just drop an anvil on them (think like in cartoons how anvils will just drop on characters). Beyond just having the necessary spiritual energy and intent, one must be able to use their words well. For instance, in the case of creating an anvil, if you just said “create an anvil 500 feet in the air”, it is quite possible for said anvil to be created above the witch, squashing her instead of her intended target.
Witch’s eyes: A power that is embedded within all those who have awakened their ability to use witchcraft is the witch’s eyes. The witch’s eyes is how witches learn the language of witchcraft. Specifically, witch’s eyes is the ability to see information, facts about object or people, or prophetic words that just aren’t there. It’s as if they are etched on to their eyes for the time they are there, and only appear to the witch. Information, facts, or prophecies gained through witch’s eyes are typically extremely vague, and they are never completely clear cut.
Ritual Witchcraft: Ritual witchcraft is the written equivalent of witchcraft. The very basis of Ritual witchcraft is a set of circles which contain the written words of the Ritual. However, there is a few key differences between Ritual witchcraft and normal witchcraft. First of all, most Rituals require some sort of offering or sacrifice in order to be effective. Second, Ritual witchcraft draws upon the very vitality of earth, allowing far more powerful effects with Ritual witchcraft then with normal. Third, Ritual witchcraft is localized, meaning that the effects are generally only effective within the circle. This is even true for summoning circles created to bind powerful creatures in order to gain a favor from them. In such a case, it is a simple “cause said creature to appear within the circle”.

Akagai=MWA-00 “Raiser”==Prototype “Raiser” Psycho-Frame=
The Psycho-Frame, simulates the Wareyasui Shinkeikairomou, allowing average humans to interface with an pilot an Akagai.The Psycho-Frame mimicks the Wareyasuis’ ability to completely interface with an object. The Akagai will generate millions of chi strings to the pilot’s body and effectively one-way link the Akagai to their consciousness and neural system. This allows the user to fully control the Akagai as if it was their own body and still have it stand alone in terms of damage accumulation. It takes a healthy amount of practice to fully refine the interface and master controlling the Akagai with the Psycho-Frame, but most regular humans can master the basics within months. Divine Comet uses this technology to give humans the ability to fight back where they otherwise would be unable to.
Unlike the typical Psychoframe system however,The MWA-00 “Raiser” Akagai is a highly experimental unit and is Moroi’s initial prototype in constructing Akagai specifically designed to interface and exacerbate the latent abilities of supernatural beings and so requires constant maintenance and fine-tuning in addition to only being attuned to its current pilot, which at the moment is Mari Amethyst Arcon. This model differs in the intensity of the connection between the Akagai and the pilot, normally the pilot of an Akagai would have his nervous system form a one way link with the Akagai, allowing them to pilot the suit like they would their own body. The Raiser Psycho Frame however seeks to achieve 100% synchronization between the pilot and the suit, allowing their natural supernatural abilities to influence the Akagai itself. This comes at a cost however, forcing the pilot of the Akagai to “feel” any damage that the Akagai accrues. Allowing them to feel pain where there normally would be none, making the connection a double edged sword.
For that kind of connection, completely linking pilot to the Akagai, a massive amount of energy is needed and it cannot always be fully exerted by technology itself. The Akagai consequently sports a Twin Drive system designed to pull heavily from the latent energy of its pilot however the brute energy in the only suitable pilot found for the machine was not sufficient for all of its operating functions, requiring the external stabilizing equipment on 00's main support unit to persistently funnel energy into the being. It is from this Raiser energy support unit that the Akagai gets its name. When fully using the system to its capacity and the 00 Raiser Twin Drive reaches 100% synchronization rate, it can achieve energy generation rates far exceeding 300% during Trans-Am, and also gains the usage of the Raiser System. These feats allow 00 Raiser to fully harness its massive particle production (too much for the 00's frame to properly handle alone) and perform at peak capacity. It is this energy that allows Mari Amethyst Arcon to completely link her regenerative ability to that of the MWA-00 Raiser, allowing the Akagai to naturally repair any damage it accrues much like Mari would to her own body. However, the strain on her body from the connection will also cause noticeable psychological damage, causing her instability to grow through prolonged use.
When the pilot of the MWA-00 Raiser Akagai reaches that fabled 100% synchronicity. The latent energy pulled from the pilot and from the sheer power of the energy output from the Twin Drives will overflow out of the backside of the Raiser unit before congealing into the Angelic, winged form that those who witness the Raiser are familiar with. When 100% synchronicity and and the Angel Wing is fully formed, it drastically improves the speed of the Akagai, raising its statistic up an entire level(Beginner to Adept, etc). The Angel Wing is a constant function of the Akagai and consequently does not have a time limit, but it does require that the pilot and the Akagai maintain 100% synchronicity and anything that would disturb that will deactivate the Angel Wing.
Under normal operation, the Twin Drive generates energy at a preset rate while excess energy is congealed and maintained in the form of the Angel Wing. When Trans-Am is activated, the Twin Drive operates at full power by releasing all of the stored particles and increasing the Twin Drive operation rate to its maximum output. This released energy saturates the frame of the mobile suit, which renders a glowing pink-reddish hue on the entire machine and VASTLY increasing the statistical parameters of the MWA-00 Raiser. While executing Trans-Am, Raiser leaves afterimages in its wake while it moves, these afterimages normally confused by people seeing them as the Akagai-shaped energy particles. While in this state, theTrans-Am system gives the Raiser extremely high speed and maneuverability, along with unlimited bursts of accelerations. This improves the Akagai’s defense and at the same time, increases the amount of thrust produced. Overall, Trans-Am increases the suit's speed, attack and defense by ten times its normal specifications. However, the sheer amount of energy produced by this system generates far too much heat for the Akagai itself to survive the intense friction and destructive implications of moving at this speed. It is as such that Mari was the only feasible pilot for the prototype Akagai. While the Trans-Am system is engaged, the Akagai itself will begin to deteriorate from the friction and heat, effectively being incinerated away, however with Mari’s nigh unlimited regeneration and the 100% synchronization, her powers constantly replace the Akagai’s cells the second they deteriorate, allowing her to maintain the Trans-am system while keeping her Akagai from completely destroying itself. Unfortunately, this works both ways. While utilizing the Trans-Am system, and while no physical damage is being dealt to Mari, she will feel as if her skin is being burned off in excruciating fashion for the duration of the Trans-Am system, obviously putting her under intense physical and psychological strain. On top of that, the Trans-Am system can only function for five posts before the energy expenditure is too great and 100% synchronization is lost.=Trans-Am: Quantization=
An additional feature of MWA-00 Raiser while in Trans-Am is "quantization". Quantization a feature which allows 00 Raiser to flank its enemy targets through an instant shift in location. Using the hyper acceleration of particles of the Akagai, the Trans-Am: Quantization allows, for a very brief window, Mari to forcibly push her healing capability to new heights. Quantization is a two fold ability. First, it will completely break down the MWA-00 Raiser to a molecular level, effectively destroying her, and leaving only the pendant Mari wears intact. It will then initiate the second part of the ability. Using substantially less energy than it would take to fully teleport a person, the system will use the energy gained from destroying itself to teleport the pendant to a nearby location and using the residual energy to completely reconstruct the Akagai and its pilot. This process happens so quickly that it seems as if the MWA-00 Raiser is simply using a form of short-range spatial teleportation. Quantization itself leaves a particle shadow of MWA-00 Raiser, fooling the enemy with the image of a false victorious blow. The maneuver often leaves the opponent confused and distracted long enough for 00 Raiser to do serious damage and/or defeat its enemy targets. There are many inherent risks to using Quantization however. While it may seem like the process is instant to the naked eye, there is still a slight delay between when the Raiser destroys itself and when it reforms, a period of time where Mari’s pendant is completely and utterly unprotected, causing her to be her most vulnerable for the short time before she reconstructs. In addition, her body has to endure being destroyed and then reassembled on a molecular level, which is a kind of pain that almost can’t be put in to words, forcing Quantization to be used purely as a panicked, last ditch effort for survival.=Armaments=
- Raiser Beam Machine Guns: A pair of hand held beam weapons mounted on the legs of the MWA-00 Raiser. Its firing rate is higher than a beam rifle, but weaker, placing the resulting power of the blasts in a zone between the conventional bala and cero. When the Raiser is in Trans-Am, the large amount of energy provided by the Twin Drive System enables the Raiser Beam Machine Gun to fire a beam with much higher output, giving it effectively an equivalently ranked Cero that fires at speeds exceeding that of a Bala.
- Raiser Sword: A solid blade attached to a miniature forearm shield, which serves as the Raiser's primary weapon. The weapon layers the energy from its Twin Drive system over the solid sword which greatly increases the sharpness and cutting power, allowing the weapon to go toe to toe and often overpower Zanpakutō and other spiritually inclined weapons, though the sword can still be used when there are no particles applied to it.
- Raiser Beam Sabers: Mounted on the back of the shoulders. The beam saber is a hilt with the ability to activate a beam blade by generating a positron field filled with energy from the Twin Drive. While the beam saber has a high power rating, one disadvantage is that their performance can be decreased by surrounding atmospheric conditions or methods of beam diffusion, so while they are more than capable of standing up to Zanpakutō and other spiritual weapons and often overpower them, they are weak to environmental shifts.
- Raiser Beam Daggers: Attached to Raiser's waist, the Raiser Beam Daggers share the same basic system as that of the Raiser Beam Sabers possess but are adjusted to have a shorter blade length that makes them harder to diffuse and consequently less hampered by the environmental weaknesses that their larger kin struggle with. They are quite useful as a thrown weapon as well.
- Raiser Vulcan: Small guns installed in both arms of MWA-00 Raiser. Purely secondary weapons, these low powered weapons are equipped with main purpose of diversion, seeking to throw an opponent off guard and open him up to be engaged by the Beam Machine Guns or in melee combat. Though the power of their beams are weak, their high firing rate means that they can be a threat to lower tiered opponents or opponents with specifically lackluster defenses.

Background History
• Background:
Born in the early winter of the year 1700, young Mari Amethyst Arcon was a strange child. Her parents were not rich by any means, they were simple farmers who loved their children more then life itself. Her father and older brother worked the land tirelessly in order to provide for the family, and due to their hard work Mari never went hungry. The first six years of her life were filled with happiness, the family getting along splendidly. However, it was too good to continue, and one sunday the very life she had been living would be ripped away from her. Her family were very religious, and like on every other sunday they were headed to church. Despite having had a headache all day, Mari was still accompanying her family, she would not be left behind. As she approached the door to the church, a force hit her head on, slamming her tiny body to the ground. Screaming in pain, she writhed on the ground, feeling like her body was on fire. Her family rushed towards her, and after a minute the pain died down. Slowly raising herself upwards, Mari's eyes widened in fear. Floating along the door of the church were the words 'witches may not enter'. Tears streamed down her face as her whole reality came crashing down around her.
Unable to handle everything, the young girl let out a scream of terror and curled up in to a ball, her body trembling from fear. Her family tried to comfort her, but it was to no avail. As the words started to show in other spots on her vision Mari's fear only became worse, words slowly coming out of her mouth, the young girl stating she was a witch. In this instant her family suddenly backed away from her, glaring at her. A small crowd gathered around them, and it was due to this that the pastor came out from the church to see what was happening. Seeing the young girl sitting their in fear, the pastor saw an opportunity, and being a man who did not fear any form of repercussion, he took it. He spoke up, saying that he could cure their daughter of the witches taint, all they had to do was leave her with him.
Thus started Mari's own personal hell, as her family quickly agreed with the pastor to leave their daughter to him. She was slowly dragged down to a cell, chained up and left there until the end of the day. That was when hell began. As soon as the sun sank beneath the sky, the pastor came down and raped the girl. Every weekend this would repeat, the devil of the man coming down and having his evil way with the young girl. With each wekend her sanity slipped further and further from her, the young girl going completely insane long before her eighth birthday. Still the perverse acts continued, and the young girl was kept chained in her cell. Luckily she was fed regularly, otherwise she would have died long before then from the man's treatment. It wasn't until she was fourteen that things would change for her.
On her fourteenth birthday, she became pregnant with the man's child. From that day forward, the man stopped his heinous acts, determined to preserve the child she carried. However, in doing so he allowed the girl time to think, her mind furiously going over ways to escape from her prison and get revenge on those that had betrayed her. It was during these thoughts that she devised the method she would eventually use. She was a witch after all, why not use that to her advantage? She would use her witchcraft to seal her soul within her descendant, allowing her to take control of the baby and kill the old fool. Slowly she set to work, drawing a ritual circle in her own blood, adding the ancient words as time went on. FInally, she gave birth to a young girl. Giggling softly, she sat herself within the ritual circle, placing a small drop of her blood on her child before pouring her will and energy in to the circle. With a rush of wind, Mari's body slumped to the floor, dead, as her child began to cry loudly.
Quickly the pastor took the child and brought it to his home, intent on raising it as his daughter. He did not notice the small rune on the back of the girl's neck, nor could he tell that a second soul was sealed within the child. For five years the spirit lay dormant, waiting for the body it now inhabited to grow enough to take on the old man. Finally, when the child was five years old, she wrestled control from her daughter. Grinning like a maniac, she summoned a knife as the pastor held her, slamming the deadly blade through his chest. Stabbing him three times in the heart, the young child then walking out, giggling crazily as she held the bloody blade in front of her.
Once out of the place of her captivity, she walked back to her former home. Knocking at the door, she grinned as her father opened it. Quick as can be the knife was through his throat, a soft giggle escaping the lips of the now insane spirit as it went about killing all the inhabitants of her former home. However, there was a purpose in these deaths, one that would become clear as she dragged the bodies in to a pile and carved a circle around them. Then, carving strange letters in to the surrounding area, she pushed her power in to the circle as she began chanting words. The spirit, in a swirl of power, was pulled forth from her child in to a newly formed body made from those of her dead family. Unfortunately, her daughter's mind had been destroyed during her take over, and it was with some regret that she plunged a blade through her neck. Continuing onwards, the reborn Mari went about systematically killing every living human in their small village.
Now that the village had paid for their sins against her, Mari stayed within the empty land. As time drifted on her sanity slipped further away from her, the woman doing increasingly more dangerous experiments with her magic. Eventually she managed to bind her soul to a pendant, making it so that she would never die unless the pendant itself was destroyed. Onwards her life went until one day a group of people stumbled upon the ruins of her village. She tried to fight them, but their weapons had far improved since when she was growing up. They bound her and knocked her unconscious with some form of drug. Then they brought her to some facillity, hoping to figure out what was wrong with the female. However, they could not figure out what was wrong with her. Eventually they decided to transfer her to karakura hospital, hoping their advanced technology and knowledge of spiritual persons would allow them to help her.
During the chaos of the australia war though, Mari escaped by using her witchcraft to transport her elsewhere. She ended up in the base of Divine Comet, and after speaking with their leader she made a deal with him. In exchange for serving Divine Comet, she would be protected from all those who sought to harm her, whether they be spiritual beings, spiritual awakened humans, or ordinary individuals. Divine Comet would become her new family, her new home, and over the course of the next month Mari's insanity lessened to some degree. While she wasn't completely stable, she was at least tolerable now that she had some sense of safety in her life. While she still holds her disrespect for authority, it is the fact that she views the rest of Divine Comet as her family that allows her to follow orders. Since then she has come to be a fairly powerful weapon in Divine Comet's arsenal, piloting the Akagai knows as the MWA-00 “Raiser”.
