The Basics
• Name: {L}Gozen, {F}Akiyoku ({F}秋欲 {L}御前 ~ lit. Fall Greed Royalty Before (trans- Greed Falls Before Him).)
• Titles: The Lethargic King / The King of Lethargy ; Sloth Incarnate / Incarnation of Sloth
• Age: Seventeen
• Gender: Male
• Affiliation/Rank: Some random-ass school in Karakura
Traits
• Personality: As his title might suggest, the main selling point of "Akki" is his failure to feel motivated. As one might suspect, he's lethargic to an extreme, the personification of a sin; yes, he's practically Sloth Incarnate. Akiyoku has a number of other traits, but clearly this is his most apparent.
Other than his laziness, intellect might fall under this category. Indeed, Akki possesses smarticle particles. Though his IQ is unknown -as he failed to successfully finish the test, or hardly any for that matter- one might presume it to be rather high. In fact, his deductive talents are proof. He's able to connect the dots quite well-- actually, to be more precise, it's more like he's good at guessing where the next dot might be. His inferences can often be based on loose evidence, but supposedly, with 'intuition', according to the man himself, the pieces of the puzzle can be solved with details as minute as the misplacement of keys to a house, or the shifting of a pair of shoes from their original spot. Of course, anyone but himself, mostly as far as he knows, wouldn't be able to do the same simply off of such subtle 'hints'.
Aside from such bland characteristics, Akki has a more flavorful personality to him. Just kidding, he really doesn't, but to say the least, he's more or less "carefree", or rather, he simply doesn't care; there's quite a big difference between the two. Whereas "carefree" would be lacking the worries of the world, living freely and happy (strictly stereotypically), simply not caring would be most synonymous with the phrase "I don't give a fuck". Though Akki doesn't quite curse much, such a phrase indeed suits him best. Akiyoku doesn't live without the worries of the world, nor freely and happily. He literally simply "lives". He goes by doing whatever, and should an impulse come, whether it makes sense to himself or others or not, he would respond.
Indeed! A way to define him would be "illogical". His attitude defies the logic of humans craving social interactions, for example. Akki truly has no need for a social life; however, should he find a sudden impulse to converse with someone, for whatever reason, he'd do so. In essence, the young Akiyoku goes around doing whatever he feels like.
A little fun fact, his name, though extremely odd that his parents would name him this, not to mention his peculiar surname, may be a reference to his personality in some ways. His first name starts with a kanji spelled in its Romanji as "Aki", meaning Autumn. The second kanji spelled in Romanji is "Yoku", which means greed. Now, Autumn Greed sounds cool and somehow meaningful in itself, but taken differently, it could mean "Fall Greed". Now, a way to interpret this with English Literary Logicks is to reverse the Sin and Season to make more sense of it, thus ending up with "Greed Fall". To finalize, one looks at the two words as a noun for the former and verb for the latter, adding an "s" to fall, therefore achieving an even more meaningful and suiting phrase for Akiyoku, "Greed Falls". Greed Falls, if taken as perhaps some sort of proverb or sophisticated writing, might be read as 'The sin of desire failing to be felt'. In this context, it unexpectedly suits Akiyoku perfectly, as, due to him not "caring", he wouldn't care to aspire for something, or wish for something, thus being absent of greed.
His surname, Gozen, has two characters, with its first character meaning "highness", and second character meaning "Before". The first character can also be loosely translated as a pronoun geared towards males, thus allowing it to successfully be taken as "him". So, following similar rules with his first name, putting given before sur, his name may mean "Greed Falls Before Him"-- clearly in reference to Akki's lethargic personality.
History
• History: Akki's story starts in Karakura, where his parents, Iori Gozen (father) and Akina Gozen (Mother) married after discovering Akina was pregnant. Of course, Iori and Akina loved each other dearly, but simply never thought about getting married-- just staying together for the rest of their lives, happy as can be. It was a huge surprise to the both of them that Akina was pregnant, despite both acknowledging the fact that they failed to use 'protection'. Nevertheless, they were both ecstatic when they heard the news after calling and visiting their doctor when Akina seemed sick and threw-up everywhere.
After the wedding, Akina moved into Iori's apartment, and Iori dropped out of grad school and worked as a biologist with only a Bachelors. Three months later, their child was born a month prematurely. The doctors suggested Akina stay a couple of days, so as to ensure the safety of their child. The couple both denied, saying that they wanted to spend time with their child immediately. Later that afternoon Iori took his beloved wife home and took some vacation time from work.
Their child, Akiyoku as they had named him, was the love of their lives, the center of their worlds. They were what one might call "doting parents". The tiniest hint of his sadness would crush their psyche.
Akiyoku grew up to be a fine child, despite his parents spoiling him to unearthly lengths. However, unexpectedly, Akiyoku was a rather dull child, even when young. He would rarely show much emotion, keeping a straight expression. Regardless, what with the somewhat ditzy personalities of his parents, they loved him unconditionally.
They would do their utmost best for him, giving him private tutoring lessons and raising enough money to guarantee him the rest of his life set. Of course, a lot of the money came also from his grandparent, who seemed to have been the ones to give his own parents their.. "traits". Akiyoku was the only grandchild on both sides, thus becoming a huge deal within the family. He was spoiled anywhere there were family members around.
Of course, as aforementioned Akki had a rather dull personality. Even with all their spoiling antics, Akki would be fine without, and would rarely ask for something explicitly. Of course, he loved his parents back, so a partial effect was his reluctance to ask them for much, so as to 'save them the trouble'.
By the end of his middle school years, Akki ran away from home. His whole family was of course devastated, and couldn't understand why. After bugging the police non-stop, the officers finally investigated his room, finding a note addressed to the parents for reasons of why he left. Of course, they didn't realise it was there as they were far too occupied with worrying over his disappearance.
Reading it, they found out that he left so as to allow his parents to enjoy themselves without having to constantly worry about him. As they were doting parents, they preferred to constantly care for him, but his point came across at some point, and they understood his decision, leaving him to his own devices, except for the bi-daily calls, sending of constant packages with food, groceries, money, and all that he would ever need to live alone.
Some where along the way, he lethargically discovered he had powers-- specifically, ones that could be performed purely through his mind. In doing so, Akki's laziness would only increase, as he used them for his own purposes. Of course, as selfish as it sounds, Akiyoku only actually used them for the reasons a kid might typically use them: reaching for the remote without having to get up, moving furniture when necessary, cleaning the house, etc..
Akki would easily find and gain new powers, with his genius being a helping factor. These abilities which were used by his mind were indeed perfect for him, as this way, with only thoughts he could accomplish most of his wants and needs, as little as they were.
In fact, due to this power and his own dull personality and laziness, there were little other reasons he needed to use these powers besides in trivial ways. The sole time he ever had to use his powers for another reason besides moving boxes or something of similar sorts, was in a small 'fight' at his workplace.
At some point, sometime during summer his first year of high school, Akki found himself a job, for completely logical reasons. Akki thought it would be good to get a feel for having responsibility and income, so he took a part-time job at a local WcDonalds. As a janitor of sorts, it was quiet easy to accomplish his tasks, especially since they didn't require much social interaction. However, there came a small predicament.
A 'Delinquent' from Kurakara High School came to eat at the restaurant, but unsatisfied for whatever reason, he threw a fit. He started flailing his powers around needlessly, threatening to burn the place down with pyrokinetics.
Of course, Akki was lethargic as could be, and ignored the customer until it came to a point where he had to clean an area near the source of the disturbance.
"Excuse me, sir; could you please move a bit. I need to get to some stuff behind you."
Akki spoke lifelessly, and though he meant nothing but what he said, literally, the 'disturbance' somehow took it offensively and pushed Akki back, threatening to burn Akki as well. Unsatisfied with what he was hearing, as well as being prevented from doing his job, Akiyoku got a mop from behind him and swung it at the disturbance, splashing him with water.
"Sir. Please vacate."
Pissed off, the customer summoned a ball of fire from his palm and threw it at Akki. In return, he essentially created a force field to protect himself. With Akki's intellect and curiosity, he contemplated a way to use fire as well. With surprising ease, he had done so, and he himself had gained pyrokinetics through the use of another one of his powers.
Using telekinesis at a subatomic level, for a brief moment Akki excited the molecules around his hand, making a slight spark of fire. it lasted shortly, which prompted Akki to say "It seems like I'll probably have to practice that."
Finding his new ability unreliable compared to others that he had already mastered, he chose to use his most favored ability, Pressure.
To be more specific, a sub-ability of Telekinesis. This time, he would use atmospheric pressure and, using his mind, he would propagate the "atm"'s as pure pressure, and would apply it to assorted things. In this case, he used 'pressure' as a wide force. With a single thought, it was as if a huge wind had blown at the 'disturbance'. The massive gale blew him away, destroying the front door of the WcDonalds as well as severely maiming the customer.
Of course, he was fired for doing so, but it was what Akki might consider "a learning experience; somewhat valuable."
Akki continued living his life on impulse, now a third year. Many experiences are soon to come, and some may prove a challenge to him-- others, perhaps not so much. Either way, Akki has a long life ahead of him, whether that life was lived to his satisfaction has yet to be known.
Powers
Natural Attributes: Akki has pretty much only one ability differing from the usual traits of a human. Technically speaking, it's just a part of any other human being, simply furthered to insane heights. Akki has superb control of his mind, such as being able to control the messages sent to his body parts consciously. Of course, like any other human, he can send said messages without needing to think about it, but he is still capable of controlling, stopping, or changing the messages. This generally takes most of his focus, making him unaware of most everything else, but if the message is a lasting effect, such as "left is right and up is down", his brain will continue sending those messages, thus making him naturally move left if he wants to go right, and vice-versa. Naturally, he can reverse it and/or stop the 'special' messages, reverting back to normal. In essence, Akki possesses hyper-intellect.
Akiyoku has insane calculating skills. To be able to use his powers efficiently, it would require a mind capable of handling and performing his abilities with calculated accuracy, and in essence, be able to process numbers easily, etc.. Hard to explain, but for sake of easy reference, imagine Accelerator's mind pre-bullet. He could process information and calculate with ease, which was necessary for accurate usage of his powers. It's pretty much the same with Akki.
Powers: As aforementioned, his power--his sole power--is psionics, the ability to possess powers utilized through the mind, psychic powers in essence. Of course, this includes a wide range of abilities, but like any other ability, Akki needs to refine and practice, apply and learn the possibilities of psionics. Some examples would include kinetic abilities such as Telekinesis or Pyrokinesis; another example might be projection, such as imprinting illusions in someones mind or into the world itself. Of course, not all of these abilities are ones that Akiyoku already has, but he's it's not to say he might not gain them in the future. Many of his abilities require some certain levels of focus (as elaborated in the end), but the more experienced he is with the ability, the less focus is necessary. With newly acquired abilities, more focus is needed, but the older and more time he's spent with the ability, or to be more precise, the more he has used the ability/more he is comfortable with it, the less focus and better he can use.
As a universal limitation to all abilities granted through psionics, the more he uses an ability, or rather the more focus used, the further his mind fatigues, resulting in headaches, inability to focus, mental stress, and even fainting or death. Though focus can't really be measured, to say the least, the more times he consciously concentrates with more effort, the further his mind will tire, ending up in worse drawbacks.
Abilities: Like mentioned previously, his parent-ability is psionics, therefore I will be explaining some of the abilities granted.
Kinetic Talents
Telekinesis: The first power Akki had ever acquired, and also most his most used. As most already know, Telekinesis is the ability to move things with the mind, but that's not necessarily accurate, or at least in Akki's case. For him, Telekinesis is the ability to apply 'force', to say the least. Yes, he can move things with his mind, but to elaborate, he does so by controlling 'force'. He can create force, or manipulate already existent force. Of course, controlling existent force is more difficult than controlling force that he has created, but either way both are possible. Akki's telekinesis isn't unlimited, there's an extent to which he can apply force. To put it in simple terms, Akki can lift up to nearly 1000 metric tons with ease (level 2). Yes, his telekinesis is indeed impressive. In contrast, this also means he can create/control 1000 metric tons of force, but as simply controlling/creating force is easier than applying it (there must be more force than the mass of the object, in reference to the previous example), 1000 metric tons of simple, pure force, is a feat accomplished with Level 1. The range of his ability is as far as he can see. This also means that, if perhaps he were to have binoculars or something to enhance his sight, he can control those as well. Akki cannot create or control force out of his field of vision, however, if he were to do so within his field of vision, then look away, it's still possible to control. The only exception is approximately 150 metres away from him. Within said range, Akki can freely control and create force without looking in the direction. Simply put, Akki can create force beneath, behind, above, and essentially anywhere around him within 150 metre range. Once this force is created, he can extend it outward, even if he can't see where it's extending. As this is his first ability, it's the easiest to use. Of course, the further away and stronger the force, the harder it is to control, thus requiring more focus. The only time he can surpass his already set conditions and limitations is by using a higher level of concentration, in some cases to the extent that he may even forgets to breathe (Overload). As mentioned in his history, Akki can use telekinesis to a molecular level, however, to any level below what he can see, it requires Level 3 or higher.
Pressure- A sub ability of Telekinesis, and Akki's favorite. As telekinesis is the ability to control/create force, pressure wouldn't be a far off sub-ability. Also, considering it's his favorite, such would imply that it is his most used, thus the strongest of his abilities (I included Telekinesis as his most used, as pressure is included within the parent-ability). In essence, Akki can control or create pure 'pressure'. Force can create and apply pressure, but it's not the same. This allows Akki to manipulate pressure and pressure alone, without force. It was an ability he discovered when practicing telekinesis, as he had inadvertently separated the two abilities by, rather than using force to move an object, applied pure pressure, breaking the object. To be put simplistically, without an actual parent force, Akki can manipulate the pressure of a force. For example, if he uses telekinesis and sends force in one direction, with enough power to lift a bus, he can take away the pressure of the force. In contrast, he can also take away the affecting pressure of the bus, thus taking away its friction. It's sorta like taking the electrical shock from a lightning bolt, but not affecting the actual lightning bolt itself; taking the damage from an injury, but still being able to feel the pain; taking out the effect from the "cause and effect" almost. It's still there, without the actual effectiveness of it (just to clarify, Akki has yet to have any abilities having to do with lightning or any of the analogies mentioned).
Force Field- Using telekinesis, Akki is able to manipulate "force", however in this case, Akki can manipulate force into a static position while retaining the intensity and strength of the force, essentially making a force field. Akki can span the force to a surface area large enough to encompass an entire two-story average sized house at level 1; with level 2, Akki can extend the force to nearly encompass an entire mall.
Deflection/Reflection- an sub-ability of Force Field which rather than simply providing a 'barrier', or put simpler, a "wall", deflects physical attacks/reflects spiritual/psychic/mental (etc) attacks. Though harder to measure, from what Akki can calculate, when only applied to the extent of covering himself, at level 2, he can deflect attacks that might tear down a small house. As it's harder for Akki to calculate the extent of protection from attacks besides on a physical level, the most he can determine is the reflection of a wide-range simplistic sensing pulse, or the amount of psychic force it might take to penetrate the mind of an average, powerless human. As for spiritual attacks, such as reishi/chi or otherwise non-physical nor mental/psychic, the same extent as physical (as much power necessary to destroy a small house). As this ability is rarely needed, Akki has lesser experience with it. As it reflects/deflects, radar/sonar or spiritual sensing would fail to work. As radar/sonar can't quite be intensified like spiritual sensing, with this ability active radar/sonar fails to work on him period. As for other means of sensing, this ability protects from only basic sensing skills. Someone who could sense perhaps the life-force of an ant with ease would be able to penetrate this ability (at level 2). At level 3, naturally this ability's effect increases. In this level, Akki could probably successfully reflect the sensing power of an, for example, officer in the Gotei. As for the other included categories, those are pretty much doubled, for example the amount of power necessary in physical/spiritual attacks to destroy a mansion.
-Light Reflection- A sub-ability of reflection/deflection. Only possible for a minute at most at level 4; the reflecting barrier can reflect photons only enough to encompass himself. Essentially, with this ability Akki becomes invisible.
Pyrokinesis: Mentioned in his history, Pyrokinesis was originally a sub-ability of telekinesis, as he could create fire through exciting molecules, however, with enough practice this ability has progressed to pure creation/control of fire, without the need to use it through telekinesis. Simply put, if there is fire, he can manipulate it, and if need be, he can create fire through simple thinking. Of course, the only flames he can manipulate are natural existing ones or ones that he himself has created. If there's a fire created through "supernatural" means, they're pretty much off limits to Akki. Furthermore, said fires must be actual "fire" from natural energies or ones created himself, not something like Chi, Reishi, or another energy made-flames. As this isn't a relatively new ability, Akki can control it with relative ease, however it's only been a few months with Pyrokinesis. As such, the highest intensity he can create or manipulate flames are to approximately 2000 degrees Celsius at Level 2. Just as his other abilities, with intense focus he can go beyond that. The range extends as far as he can see, however that is only limited to flames he can create. He can control a flame up to as far as his eye can see OR feel, thus being able to manipulate existing flames without it being within field of vision. Just as telekinesis, there's a range in which me made control/create flames regardless: with himself as the center in a spherical range of 50 metres (radii).
Aerokinetics: Another kinetic ability Akki has acquired. Using pressure, he accidentally came across the concept of controlling wind. This was hinted in his history, as he vacated the Delinquent from WcDonalds. Applying pressure through harnessing atm (atmospheric pressure), he caused a strong gale to sweep said delinquent off his feet and simultaneously destroy much of the building. A convenient ability in many situations, despite learning this after pyrokinetics, he is more skilled with it. To compare, with relative ease Akki can conjure winds strong enough to blow down Sequioa Redwoods, some of the largest trees on Earth. With level 3 concentration, he could perhaps even create a full-blown tornado. The furthest Akki has gone with Aerokinetics is to the extent of stopping voluntary actions which need conscious performance, level 4. At this level, Akki was capable of bringing winds strong enough to demolish skyscapers as high as 100-stories (according to his calculations. It'd present quite some trouble if he actually tested that out). And though tornadoes are technically able to do so as well, at level four even winds simply blowing in one direction are valid. To explain a bit, the main thing that gives a tornado its force and destructive capabilities, aside from simply overwhelming speeds of its winds, is the rotation. A tornado's rotation is the cause of most of a tornadoes destructive powers. With winds as fast as a tornadoes, without the rotation, at most they could blow down a 30metre high tree (estimation). Imagine the sheer power of winds that can accomplish the same feats as the average tornado, without the rotating force. Thus, Akki's aerokinetic limits on level 4 are the closest parent-kinetic ability to his favored telekinesis. Just as telekinesis, his range for this ability extends as far as he can see, however, without the controlled gales being within his field of vision, the range extends to a spherical 100 metre-radius range, with himself as the center.
Projection
Voice-Imprint: Akiyoku can imprint his voice into the mind of others, essentially being telepathy. He can speak to others as far as 100km, but no further. He cannot communicate with people in other dimensions. This is an ability he can use with absolute ease, and anybody within 100km, whether he can see them or sense them in anyway, he can speak to through his mind. Voice Imprint isn't simply limited to telepathy. This ability extends to mechanisms, or mass-communication. He can speak to up to 10 people within 50km, and every 10km further, one less person (60-4,70-3,80-2,90-1, [100-1]). If he makes contact with a person, he can speak to others through their mind with the same range, using their voice. Also, if he has an object on him that's strongly connected to someone, his range extends to 500km. If they also have an object strongly connected to himself, the range extends to 1000km. If he himself is strongly connected to someone in addition to having an object strongly connected to someone and vice-versa, if he himself is strongly connected to the person, the range goes as far as 1500km. The furthest he can communicate is with his family members, who are practically the only things important to him. With his family members, he can communicate with them anywhere in the same dimension. Voice-Imprint and all sub-abilities can be interfered with as well, as is extremely easy to interfere with. The only exception is with his parents.
Self-Projection- Akiyoku can project his image like a hologram. The furthest is 10 metres away-- eyesight is not necessary. Not much is necessary to explain this ability, as its parameters are pretty straight-forward and simple. Just as voice imprint is, this ability is relatively easy to interfere, however, both abilities can only be interfered with through psychic means. Takes a psychic to mentally fuck with another psychic ;).
Senses
Clairvoyance: Akki can see dead people and other beings (demons, iramasha etc.) and communicate with them. He can also make contact with them, etc.. Furthermore, he can sense other-worldly being, and even regular humans who happen to have some sort of alternate power. His sensing abilities go beyond that even-- he can sense anyone with basic life force, or essentially a soul. His sensing ability isn't quite at level 0 where it's an involuntary application, so he must at least try to think to sense things, however this ability is at quite a superb level already. Put in terms of size, Akki can sense a presence the size of an ant, and accurately gauge that size. In contrast, Akki can gauge the size of a larger presence (reiryoku/chi/etc.), however, the larger the size, the harder and therefore more concentration needed to gauge.
Precognition- a sub-ability of clairvoyance, Akki can sense a possible future for up to 10 seconds, and 10 seconds in the possible future, essentially seeing what might happen 20 seconds into the possible future. This is limited to applying enough concentration to the extent of forgetting to even breathe. His point of vision originates from where he would see in the future, essentially looking through his eyes into the future. He can control what he sees in the future, as his future self decides, however, technically speaking he can make sure of himself to look in the directions he wants to see in the future, in the actual future. Confusing at first, but to summarize, Akki can decide to look to the left while looking into the future, that way what he sees are things to the left when using precognition. After the ten seconds of looking into the future are up, he can look to the left ten seconds later, for his past-self. As mentioned several times, it's stated "possible future". The future holds many possibilities, with the smallest of things diverging one possible future to several hundred different types. On average, Akki's successful rate of predicting the possible future which comes true is less than 5%, however, he has a 60% success rate of predicting a possible future which stems not too far off from the one that came true.
Levels
Akki has organized his level of control over these abilities so as to simplify things for himself and others, should he ever find a need to explain.
Level 0: The pinnacle of control over his abilities. Level 0 essentially means no focus is necessary. As if the abilities applicable at this level were a part of himself, a part of his natural instincts-- at this level powers can even be used subconsciously, like second nature. Furthermore, abilities that can be used at level 0 essentially bypasses all the requirements of the levels above it without the actual need to apply so much focus. The drawbacks of each level are still present, however. Basically, an ability on level 0 never requires focus to use. Simply the will, whether he's conscious of said will, to do it or not. Not even a conscious thought is necessary.
Level 1: To Akki, this means using abilities with simple thinking, therefore the lightest of effects. In this level, abilities can be used with even impulse. The drawbacks are pretty much nonexistent on this level, even with prolonged use. However, this also means less power.
Level 2: On this level, Akki considers it necessary to consciously focus on these things without registering it as simply a thought going through his mind. On this level, the power of his abilities are naturally upped, but so are the risks. Even on level 2 it'd be rare to experience drawbacks he could take notice of, but hypothetically if his mind were to already be exhausted and overworked, prolonged use of abilities on this level could cause severe headaches and migraines.
Level 3: Things that require enough focus for him to even stop moving. Not moving as a whole, but rather, staying in one spot, or not making any large movements. Akki must stay relatively still on this level to acquire the intensity and control of his powers needed. As always, more power equates more risks. Even without an already tired mind, prolonged use can cause drawbacks. After a while, alongside Level 2's drawbacks, if Akki overuses, or rather, applies too much focus to use his abilities on this level consistently, he may experience things such as numbness in certain parts of his body, mainly limbs, nosebleeds, minor pains around his body, and even throwing-up.
Level 4: A level in which he needs to stop voluntary actions that he must consciously perform, such as walking, talking, and anything else which requires more effort than, perhaps moving his head around. With as much power granted with this shift in focus along with prolonged use, the drawbacks intensify and stack on top of the other consequences. The drawbacks on this level go as far as coughing up blood, partial-paralysis, and even the dimming of senses.
Overload: Essentially a level where he pretty much requires the overload of his mind, switching all focuses of his mind, including focus from breathing, to the abilities. The drawbacks on this level, as usual stack, however, on Overload all that's needed is the use of Overload that brings about consequences, whereas the other levels below only needed to have an already stressed mind or prolonged usage/over-usage of the abilities at those levels of concentration. On Overload, using it at all already brings consequences, such as the lack of being able to breathe, as Akki's focus even overrides those simplistic messages in his brain. However, even the drawbacks from usage of this level of concentration at all isn't enough. If Akki holds a level of concentration this high for extended periods of time, he could experience full-body paralysis, faint, temporary loss of hearing, sight, etc., and even death.
Forbidden Level: He thought of a situation where if he were to explain his powers to someone, there should at least be one level that might spark some interest to the person(s). On the "Forbidden Level", just as its ominous title might entail, it is a level of ridiculous focus. It literally takes ALL the brainpower of his mind. Even his heart ceases to beat. This is the most powerful his abilities might become, aside from perhaps emotion, though Akki has never performed his abilities with excellency on par with the forbidden level through simple emotion alone. In fact, Akki has yet to use his powers due to emotion, and is still uncertain whether emotion CAN actually induce a higher state of power. But, then again, emotions are still within the mind, so he hasn't yet eliminated the possibility. Drawbacks on this level include... well, pretty much anything. Anything can happen on this level, really. Death is the most viable-- permanent loss of abilities, senses, and many other permanent effects are also plausible. Akki has even considered a loss of his hyper-intellect, or even worse, the possibility of becoming a "vegetable".

As a universal limitation to all abilities granted through psionics, the more he uses an ability, or rather the more focus used, the further his mind fatigues, resulting in headaches, inability to focus, mental stress, and even fainting or death. Though focus can't really be measured, to say the least, the more times he consciously concentrates with more effort, the further his mind will tire, ending up in worse drawbacks.
m8, you repeated that whole paragraph twice. You should remove it.
The highest he's tested is at level 4, where the Force Field extends to the point where he can probably encompass an entire town with enough strength to, for sake of comparison, nullify about 1 long ton (1000 kg about).
I'd strike out the entire town bit until he reaches low to mid 0 tier. Probably around 0-5. I'm imagining by town you mean something like a city, so by that definition I haven't given a tier for this character and that seems a bit much.
Precognition- a sub-ability of clairvoyance, Akki can sense the future for up to 10 seconds, and 10 seconds in the future, essentially seeing what might happen 20 seconds into the future.
I'd probably have to say no to this unless it was re-worded to give him POSSIBILITIES, but not really absolutes. As I know characters on the site who can be given probable outcomes as to what can happen through Probability Perception or something like that, but they can't ACTUALLY see the future; just estimates. - Tier: N/A
