Nami Asthavon [2414 VERSION]
Sun Feb 02, 2014 11:29 am
The Basics
Name: Nami Asthavon
Titles: The Queen of Vicara Plane
Race: Demon
Age: Unknown, seemingly timeless
Self-Given Birthday: 2nd March
Gender: Female
Affiliation/Rank: Demon World, Asthavon SistersPERSONALITY
Nami Asthavon is quite an interesting figure when it comes to her personality. She has experienced many emotions in her lifetime and suffered many losses, even more than she can remember. Although, she does have quite a unique attitude, considering she is so old, that she doesn't even know her age. Her overall attitude is that of a rather stoic one, she often has a calm head in situations and is very steady in every aspect. By being steady in her general being, it has changed quite a lot about her; often being an enigma to even the people she knows and are friendly with. Honestly, she doesn't communicate with a lot of people. She is silent in almost every aspect; not even talking to those she likes, not because she is afraid of judgement or any human emotion like that, but Nami Asthavon is silent bcause she finds it soothing. Rather than the constant yapping of the world, the outspoken and noisy people who destroy everything in their path with such terror, she doesn't want to be like that, she prefers silence. Nami's stoic attitude is one of a kind in this, her typical way of behaving is nothing like a normal demon or their loud nature. She is typically, as said, quiet. In every aspect, silence is her choice of environment when it comes to everything she does, battling, sleeping, eating, talking even.
Her battle attitude is not dis-similar to her normal attitude in many ways, though. As mentioned above, she enjoys quiet environments to battle in; to kill in at that. And while many of battle environments are not quiet, and she knows this, she will still strive for a less talking or a quiet battle. To her, noise is troubling. And noise can become a hindrance once you have taken your part into battle and she knows this. Many people have fallen prey of being caught up in their words, talking themselves up and making themselves seem bigger than they actually are; which lead to them getting killed or defeated. In her many years, she went through stages of loudness and cocky talking, analysing with her timeless age and knowledge of different battle environments. And the end result? If you give the opponent a high expectation of your skills and some information leaked through your words, it just becomes a hindrance to yourself and gives them a handicap to use against you. Battle isn't something she takes lightly however, if she enters a battle? The main aim of Nami is to kill. No prisoner taking, no light regard for human life; purely the devouring of her opponent is in her mind in this case. Fights, to her, are trivial unless it involves devouring her opponent and crushing them into the dust; ripping their very heads from their spine. This is yet another aspect of her battle, as mentioned, she only tries to kill in fights and will not stop until the opponent is dead by her feet, head detached and rolling. A rather sadistic attitude on battle, however she does every action and feature so calmly about it. She would show absolutely no emotion once it happened, however. As well as the no emotions, even when she receives injuries or takes attacks, it doesn't change. At initial strike, she may cringe, but as it lunges and hits her as a result? She does not show a single bit of pain. This can be misleading for the opponent though. As she might appear to be going strong, and one minute, falling to the ground passed out or dead due to her not showing how much the pain had got to her and injured her in total.
In accordance to her battle attitude and her general stoic outward expression, Nami is a rather sadistic person. Not in the sense that she will run up to you and slice you open for no apparent reason; but for the fact that if she was to get into a fight, or to be able to get the opportunity to kill; she would find the most creative of ways to achieve her goal. Many different methods have been known, and yet she shows no regret or remorse in these actions of killing. Ripping people apart with her hands, diving her fingers into their eyes; biting their very neck open even; these are all particularly common ways she uses to kill people in a fight. Although, her general nature doesn't suggest she is like this. The only time her sadistic side really comes to light is when she gets into battle, otherwise she is still that stoic person who is completely shut off from communication and noise. Another thing that needs to be noted, is her tendency to snap at people if they just go on and on and talk themselves up with unnecessary details; in short bursts. Through this, she won't talk her head off, perhaps just letting out bursts of noise and annoyance such as: "shut the fuck up" or "You're annoying." Yet, beyond this, she won't even talk whilst devouring her opponent. It is very rare that you could find her talking herself up or even finding herself above her opponent. She doesn't even talk about her abilities in the battle, that is for her opponent to figure out and her to decide how to use them.
Yet, despite all this information, nothing has been yet said of her loyalty to those around her. She is not loyal. The word loyal is nothing to her, it means absolutely zilch, nada. To be loyal, you have to have a sense of honour or a general way of something to protect. The only person she could, maybe, be considered loyal to is Mana alone. Not Shadow Fall, Kokuryuteshi, Monsuta, Gotei or anything. She is only on good terms with Mana and fights for her own rights. Rather than joining a faction or losing her loyalty into someone, she prefers to be a lone hunter and work by herself - a solo warrior, perhaps. Yet, even though he "Loyalty" to Mana might exist, she doesn't consider it a loyal friendship or anything on that level. She respects her, nothing more then that. And perhaps the way she sees most people is why she can't be loyal, either. Because of this, she general has no line of friends; only people she has been involved with or fought on the same side with momentarily. The closest person she has to a friend is Mana. The most interesting thing about Nami, however, is that she can literally turn her back onto you in the blink of an eye. She could be fighting side by side with you, then suddenly change her mind and attempt to kill you. As said, no sense of loyalty, friendship or acquaintances. Just her mind set in a steel trap of nothing but getting what she wants or wants to achieve; a person with no regret or remorse.
Although, this isn't where her personality comes to a close. She has a rather unique mind when it comes to her thoughts. In her head, she conjures up a lot of different methods and images, some of them being rather disturbing at times. Her mind is a place of great wonder, everything that she doesn't say or express in her appearance, actions or words is thought about and held up in her mind ten fold. In her mind, she is constantly shifting in a state of flux between an active and a dead mind. In these two separate states, they have different outcomes as to how Nami presents herself. When it is dead and cold, her body is usually seen much more pale and less lively in battle; even her already emotionless movements becoming even more sudden and emotionless. When her mind is active, her body is more loose and generally more flexible in all aspects, presenting herself in a more calm town, rather than a emotionless and cold, dead way. Although it isn't a big difference in the way she works, Nami is quite influenced by her mind when it is active, coming up with more creative ways to think and kill or even interact. It's not essential to her combat or even part of it at all, but rather is can just change the way she views herself and the way she may be able to overcome her opponent, or view them.APPEARANCE
Shifter Appearance:
Unlike many demons who have been in and out of Demon World, Nami has never held a shifter appearance. Instead, Nami has found herself to constantly be in her 'true' appearance, albeit it is the only appearance she has. Ever since losing her final form as a result of her power throw-back, Nami has also lost her Kana personality and appearance. Hence, making this her only current appearance.
True Appearance Written:
Nami, or formerly Dragon Slayer, is a rather unique and interesting looking demon. Her overall appearance is not too dissimilar to that of a normal human being; should could very well be mistaken for one. Nami Asthavon's appearance appears to be innocent most of the time, especially with the different amount of outfits that she had which will be explained below. The first and foremost thing that is noticeable about Nami Asthavon is her jet black hair, which runs all the way down to just past her shoulders. Her hair is rather soft looking, swaying with the breeze rather simply; yet when it settles, never seeming to lose it's shape. Her hair is only the beginning of her basic appearance however. Over the top of it, no matter what outfit she decides to wear, there always appears to be a black crown; a little lighter than her hair, resting atop of her head and laying harshly against her scalp, not easily being knocked off or destroyed. Why does she wear this? For a few reasons, the first and foremost is to signify he dominance over those who oppose her, that she is 'queen.' The second is to show her queen of dragon hunting. It is a renown crown which lays there, the crown itself being virtually indestructible. It is most known for dragon killing, which she has claimed.
Yet another feature of Nami is her eyes. Her eyes are her most unique asset when it comes to her appearance, they illuminate a very bright viper yellow, which resonates even in the dark. The yellow of her viber eyes are something that she takes pride in and is essential to her individuality as a demon, or a person. The main focus of these eyes is to give a sense of extreme power to be illuminating from them. Her eyes are her main assets, they're what makes Nami, Nami. Along with her eyes, her skin appears to be extremely pale as well; almost as if she has never seen daylight or it has ever touched her skin. For some reason, she cannot change this; no matter how much times she spends in the sun or in direct UV rays, she cannot tan or get a darker skin tone. She believes that it's a side effect of her being a demon, that she cannot physically alter her body in natural ways. Which drives her insane to some points. Nami stands at a good 5"11 feet tall, as well as weighing 55 kilograms. Her body type is rather slender and petite, she has a thin looking posture and has rather thin arms and legs.
As for Nami's outfits, there are two main ones that she follows the code of. The first is a far more battle-ready based outfit, being armoured (to an extent) and seemingly more powerful. The appearance consists of a single glove covering her right hand, a rather large gauntlet appearing over that hand; spiked and edged knuckles on it appearing; metal and powerful. Her left hand is exposed and free, not like her right hand. Around Nami's neck appears to be a small charm, a neck-tight necklace appearing to have a small jewel hanging from it, just a small, dark red gem hanging from the neck. On the right arm with the glove, her sleeve is cut short just before her elbow, where as her left arm is completely covered down until it reaches her hand in a soft cloth. Her chest and body region appears to have a rather simple corset looking piece of attire attached to her body, that is entirely black along with the rest of her appearance. However, it isn't a corset at all. It's body tight, except it goes down into a outwards dress, a torn and diss-shaped skirt being revealed just below her thighs. On her legs, there appears to be thigh-high stockings which are laced together up at the top on either side of her leg. On her waist, there also appears to be a grey belt hanging; from it being a chain simply dangling.
The second outfit is a far more laid back and relaxed looking one, and a much more girlie one at that. Overall, her physical appearance does not change at all. Rather, all of those armored gloves, armored clothes and chest pieces disappears and shows itself to be a simple dress, laced over the top of her shoulders in straps and held together through single straps of cloth. Still, like in the previous outfit, she appears to have the same thigh high stockings, except this dress now has no sleeves at all, and a much more maintained bottom to the skirt, not all torn up and disfigured. Across her chest, just above her bust, appears to be a cross of straps from the dress intertwining. Yet again, her appearance seems to be rather pale; she has such a pale skin.
Appearance Picture:HISTORY
Chapter one: What is that rough rock there for?
The history of this royal Asthavon has always been a rather tragic one. Much of Nami's early life has been forgotten, lost into history and even her own memory. From the time she spent as an infant until hundreds of years into her life, these years were lost in the scheme of time and space. It had started out from a young age, only being a child when all of the issues in her life started to become mingling into one. Nami Asthavon had been by herself within a family of demons, known as the first generation within her blood-line. Nami was kept in a very closed environment growing up, barely every seeing sunlight or daylight within their small house on the edge of the Vicara Plane. She was never really allowed to leave the house or go to explore others worlds, she was considered to be a "black sheep", someone who was too unquestionable at the age of fifteen right now. She was named by the entire Asthavon family as "Nami Asthavon" although kept this to themselves, they tried to keep it a secret that yet another little demon had been brought into the world. The basis of worry for the world here was a spawn that was related so closely to the Touketsu blood line, who was the Demon God. Even in the Demon World, saying that Touketsu was closely connected to your family was dangerous. So she was secluded and shut off from the rest of the world, left to rot on her own. Due to this special care of her, she often found herself becoming rebellious more than actually following the rules, being a stupid teenager that she is. One day, the date unconfirmed, she had decided to leave the household she was confined to; against all of the families rules. She had snuck out at night into the Demon World, wandering around and observing the world as it was. She was fascinated, the most she actually got to see of the world was a few trees or hills from her bedroom window. The demon world was amazing to her, filled with demons and plenty of other-worldly creatures that were nothing like humans. She had wandered high up onto the hills on this night; attempting to get a high vantage point to view the land in which she was living, then sneak back into her room.
At this area, however, things went sour. As she was climbing the high mountain, she had reached the top; her small petite teenage body struggling to pull herself up the mountain. At this age, she was constantly reckless. She spent a lot of her early life being loud and annoying, constantly telling and complaining. As she climbed up, she got the top and breathed a sigh of relief. She looked around, a massive stone like figure appearing atop the mountain. She blinked a few times before wandering over, hand running along the rough edging of it; within a few seconds cutting her hand open a slight bit, her blood dripping out onto the ground and soaking her long shirt. As she looked at her hand, something had changed. The stone 'rock' before her let out a breathe. A piece of stone letting out a breathe? That wasn't normal at all. A bunch of build up air flew out, almost as if it was breathing. Unfortunately for her, it was. The rock shifted slightly; before part of it lifted up to reveal and eye. The eye was deep coloured yellow, piercing and looking right at Nami At this time, she was only 5'4 foot tall, and hardly any body muscle appeared to be on her. Although, she was still unaware of her capabilities and her true strength she had held within her body. The 'rock' began to straighten itself up, covering the dark moonlight above and shrouding her in nothing but pure blackness. Her eyes blinked multiple times, a cold shiver running down her spine. T... This creature... it appeared to be a dragon? Yes, that is what it had to be. Something so powerful that was said to be the hardest creature in existence to defeat. A lot of her story books were based on this as a child, a knight going up to the top of a mountain to slay a dragon. But Nami was no knight. She wasn't even a soldier in anyway, she had no battle experience at the age of fifteen. At the top of this mountain, the dragon shot a deep cold breathe down onto her body, pulling back it's paw and aiming a powerful strike to slam Nami out of the way, aiming to kill her. At this point, Nami screamed; slinging her right hand out. A gold light flashed, blinding the area. It flashed hard before returning normally, in her right hand appearing a double handed gold sword. It was longer than her body. Her eyes were clenched shut so hard, before opening them, looking over to her right hand to see the blade in it; blood dripping down from the edge of it. Her eyes yet again shifted to the dragon, it's entire paw being cut off. What was this blade? How did it exist? What did this mean? Nami simply steadied her stance as the massive dragon had built up it's chest, as if it was just about to spew fire out from it's mouth onto her. She winced, pulling the blade in front of her body and taking the fire with the blade blocking it. She screamed as this happened, constantly yelling to herself "hot! hot!". The fire that surrounded her came to a close, simply dying as the fire of the dragon stopped. Swinging the blade behind her, she screamed once again, running at the dragon now. Her blade was drawn back, before suddenly lunging it forward and slicing directly up the dragons cuts.
The cut from her blade hit, completely slicing open the entire chest of the dragon; blood instantly seeping down from it; organs and blood falling deep onto the earth. The dragon laid dead, it's dark face and body laying lifeless. All Nami could do was stand there, bewildered at what she actually just did. Nami slew a dragon? She killed it. There was no denying that fact now. Yet, all that she could do was hold a tough smirk over her face as if she was proud of herself. She did it, she killed a dragon. Although, as she was about to walk away and back home; something happened. The dragon began to glow a deep red; as if the life that was left was being sucked out of it. The soul of the dragon roared out towards Nami, nearly knocking her back on her butt. She blinked multiple times as she felt a surge of power run through her. Something that she had never felt before. Was... this... true power? When she arrived back home, she stood in the door way covered in blood and a long sword in hand. She simply looked at the ground, then looking up again to the family member standing before here; a soft smile on her face and letting out a few words. "What am I?"
Chapter Two: The Potential of the Heart
She had always wanted to know more about who she was. She never really knew why she existed, nor did Nami understand for what purpose she was here. Once she time had passed and many years advanced through history , Nami had been set off. The family that once cared for her and looked after her during those early years of her life had abandoned her, not out of hate or unloving. It was more based around the idea that she'd learn how to exist in this world on her own. She had been wondering the vast emptiness of Demon World for years on her own by now, however one thing became obvious to her throughout her travels. The world was cruel. Every where you looked, there was some form of cruelty being taken out. From beatings of lesser beings to things such as being murdered for taking food, the world was cruel. As of her immature mind, her first reaction to this was to be crueler. Throughout her travels into the different areas of Demon World, Nami only found peace within the nation of Vicara. The nation of thoughts was the one place she could gather herself, to be shut off from everyone else. As it was renown for being the nation of thoughts, it was somewhere she loved to visit when she had the time.
However she didn't just explore the Vicara Plane, she wandered through the cities of Demon World and the regions spread throughout them, even through the areas known as the Chaya nation, otherwise known for the harsh, brutal and forever murderous city. Wondering through the streets of the Chaya nation, Nami had come across a hive. Whilst there were many buildings and houses spread throughout the entire region, a 'hive' was different. 'Hive' was the word Nami, in her youth, used to describe outlawed demons within Demon World -- fugitives none the less. At first, Nami did not know the purpose of this place. The building itself was rickety and old, a sign reading 'open' hanging from it's last bolt above the door frame. It seemed this place was a hotel, or at least once was. Drawing closer, Nami placed her hand against the door and took a breathe before pushing it open. Bringing the door wide open, she surveyed the room. Demons sitting on top of benches, sitting over the railing on the second floor. All of them were seemingly male, as well... interesting, Nami thought. Walking in, she'd raise her right hand over her head and crack her arm, stretching it in the process. They all looked at her with intense eyes, slight auras emitting from their body. Yet she didn't make any movements to signify attack. The area was obviously hostile, the very room could be felt raising in tension. Yet... she just sat there.
A man walked over, his right fist clenched hard and his left hand softly pressing on Nami's shoulder as she sat down and took a drink from an already pored glass of bourbon. Not even raising an eye over her shoulder, the man would begin to speak anyway. "Aggghhhhh, what do we have here? A pretty little demon wandering into a nest of elder, wiser demons... Tut, tut. What're we to do with you?" His hand would begin to wrap Nami's hair around his finger, slightly pressing his fingers against her face before finally taking his right head and slamming her head into the table forcefully. Yet still, no sign of resistance was shown from Nami. A slight sigh would exit her mouth, finally her soft voice radiating throughout the room. "I see... You're that kind of guy. I'll give you three seconds for you to walk away, you and all your buds' here." A slight smirk and 'tch' sound came from the lips of the demonic looking demon, pressing his hand against her head even harder, his hand now running down her side, working towards her thighs. In that instant, a bright yellow splash would emit, lighting up the room. Within this instant, an intense screaming overcame the demon pressing against her head, blood running and dripping off his hand -- his fingers now laying on the floor in a pool of blood. "One."Bringing her head up from being pressed against the table, Nami's vision would now fall upon all the demons in the room. Bringing up a golden blade, a swipe would be taken at the man's other hand, completely cutting off all fingers still attached. "Two." Yet more screaming occurred, nobody fleeing the building. "Three." Finally, the golden blade would slice across the neck of the demon, his head not falling to the ground, but rather resting atop of her golden blade. In a scurry, the demons began to flood outside the doors, leaving as screams echoed throughout the halls of the abandoned hotel like-building.
A cold clap could be heard echoing throughout the halls of the now empty house. A woman wearing a pure black, leather outfit emerging from the shadows. A wild grin covered her face as she raised her arms slightly shrugging. Nami stared her down, eyes not leaving her for a second as the golden light disappeared, her blade vanishing into thin air. "Oh goody, they had another woman hiding? Tch, demons these days. They either have no respect or too much. So what is it? You want to try and pay me back for what I did to your friends? Go ahead, come at me demon-bitch." Nami spoke wildly, a hint of narcissism underlying her voice, mocking the demon before her. "Actually... I'm the opposite. These were my targets." A playfully soft voice replied. "Ah?" Nami was confused. She had just came in here, sliced open a few demons trying to assault her, and this woman was meant to take them out anyway? What a bother... "Well.. I'm a bounty hunter, a mercenary if you will. I'm hired to kill things. You interested?" A slight grin crossed Nami's face, resting back in her chair, taking another swig of her bourbon. "Oh? Tell me more..."
Chapter Three: The Mercenary Days
Centuries had passed since her mercenary days, Nami has spent a lot of her days travelling from place to place taking her previous title of 'Dragon Slayer' and becoming a feared mercenary among the Demon World and K-world. At this time, she was constantly in-between jobs, hunting down foes and being hired for many things in her time. For hundreds of thousands of years, she had not heard from her family. She was left alone and never contacted, they closest they came to being in contact was hearing the name "Asthavon" in a job she was taking in K-world. By now, she had slain numerous amount of Dragons and taken their essence in which she believed fueled her power. Never the less, for Nami right now? Life looked nice. She got the money she wanted, she got to release her anger onto people that either deserved it or had done something to warrant their destruction. Nami did not think of herself as a killer, more of a justice bringer or something along those lines. However, over the years, she had met many people on her jobs. She was making friends with those hiring her, even occasionally making friends whilst out on the job. Unlike the modern Nami, she was quite the social person.
Towards the end of her mercenary days, Nami had been on a job that required three people. Together with her, a man named Kaiden and a woman named Charisma were working a job; the specifics being simple: a high profile target was wandering the streets spreading propaganda, and someone wanted to wipe them out. Nami's main job within the group was reconnaissance and evaluating the target before finally joining in if her partners met unplanned resistance once the target was taken out. Her initial report was low resistance, the demon wandering among the crowd and sprouting his propaganda was only surrounding by two guards -- something that would have little impact on the three of them. Finally reporting the situation back to her team, they began the assault without Nami. Sitting on the sidelines, atop of buildings and structures within the main capital of Demon World, Nami observed as her partners got closer, no problem thus far. However -- just as they were about to eliminate the target, a sudden burst of pressure began to eradicate their bodies; forcing them to fade into mid air as nothing but pieces of demonic energy and power.
Rage blinded Nami, she didn't know what exactly happened, but the two closest friends she made since becoming a mercenary had just been obliterated. And she couldn't even collect the bodies for a burial. Blinded in rage, she threw her body into the fray, a blinding golden light being brought down upon the area. Within seconds, people's bodies were split in half, blood drenching her own body and the very colour of blood filling her clothes. Nothing stood between her and the target. However, it wouldn't be so simple. As her sword aimed to cleave him in two, a barrier of pure, black energy slammed against it, blocking all damage that she would take. It was curious, something Nami had never seen before. Yet, she was blinded by rage. Pulling her arm back and striking over and over and over again, no progress could be seen made. Finally, she began to breathe heavily as the dark aura began to lash out and attack her, causing wounds all over her body, blood soaking the ground around her feet and staining the ground.
Chapter Four: The False Dragon
Ever since her encounter with that dragon, she had demanded answers from her family as to what she was. Eventually, she was told that the Asthavon blood line meant that they were a very powerful family who were given quite unique traits and were capable of massive atrocities if they carried the blood line. Ever since that day on the mountain, Nami had insisted people refer to her as Nami Asthavon, even her own family. After this deal, she hunted dragons as well. She made it more of a hobby than anything, without actually knowing what it did for her and that it fuelled her final form. One day, she was out wandering, hands placed in pockets and going to the human world for the first time. She stepped through and into the world, noticing the green and luscious trees around, the roads with a whole new type of people in them; humans. She walked among them as if she was one of them, simply looking around. She smirked a bit and laughed to herself. An Asthavon walking among the people like nothing was wrong? That was unheard of. She continued to talk high up into a village, which was surprisingly big for a village up in the high hills of Russia. She wandered through this area with a keen learning spirit aiming to find a whole bunch different ideas. She was wandering through the village when a massive roar was shot down over the area; five dragons appearing all at once. Her eyes widened. Dragons? In the human world? She thought they were a myth? Unless they followed her through from the demon world or escaped from the Sugiura planes. Five at a time? For someone of such young age, that was far too many. She couldn't handle them. She simply stood high up in the sky before a man, who appeared to have all the character of a dragon came flying in, fist ready and lending all five of those dragons launching through the air and into the mountains, completely taking the top off of one of the mountains. Such amazing force, what was this man?
As she got closer, she noticed that the man had dragon like qualities. A dragon man... What an interesting concept. Yet, he had just completely wiped out five dragons in a single swipe. As they were wiped out, five souls rushed towards her; completely absorbing them. Every single one of them appearing to be a fire dragon, typical. Who was this man? She had planned on fighting him if he had the powers of dragons, she could steal that too. At this age she was reckless and didn't know much about her power; at this, she only has approximate knowledge of her own death energy powers too. It quickly became apparent that the man's name was Amaimon, who seemed to be a dragon. They had quickly engaged in battle, many of the swapping power techniques; all capable of being able to kill a normal person in a single hit. As they exchanged, he disclosed information about himself that was... worrying to her. He wasn't a dragon at all. His power was based on earth and was considered a reptile, a lizard. Her eyes clenched shut at the knowledge of this, slamming her fist into the ground. As the fist hit the ground; a black ball began to build up in her hand, yet she couldn't shut it off. The black ball quickly became larger and larger, throwing it away from her hand, sucking in the light from the area into a ball of darkness. Both Amaimon and Nami Asthavon retreated, getting more distance between the massive growing ball. The energy that it was sucking in got so big that is completely began to cover a one kilometre area. Was this an indirect activation her Death Energy later known as Void of Darkness? The village and landscape around got smashed into it, Amaimon and Nami clear of the radius. It continued to suck in items from up to fifteen kilometres away, completely destroying anything it came into contact with. That village in Russia had a million people in it, it very well could have been considered it's own city.
The ball suddenly died down in an instant, a black aura and pulse being send out over a fifteen kilometre area. Such a powerful technique... how was it possible to have something that destructive? Nami, in an instant, had managed to kill a million people. Within the blink of an eye. In a way, this is where her current personality came from. It was after feeling a bunch of regret from killing them all. However, she couldn't hide the fact she enjoyed it. She enjoyed the fact people before her died at the expense of her power. It was enjoyable, so she decided to shift her personality into becoming a silent type, an enigma who barely talked. As this happened, her eyes shifted to Amaimon was standing near her right now. She pulled her gaze away, wondering in her head 'what the hell did I just do? It was so unstable and destructive.' She pulled away, slipping into a shadow step and disappearing from sight. To this day, she had still not seen Amaimon again. Although she had become more powerful than anyone would have imagined, being able to do an amazing amount of crafting and destroying with her Dragon Slaying powers. Often she found herself fighting for her sisters, too. If they had an enemy? they were her enemy. She didn't only fight dragons, she simply drew her power from them. Her grand scale was to fight all those who opposed her, Mana and the family. While her allegiance isn't to those of shadow fall, they could be considered an ally; along with all other chaotic evil based organizations.
DEMON TRAITS
Akuma Kyodo:
Thanks to the full body seal most demon's have on their bodies from birth, Akuma Kyodo gives most Demon's a layer of defensive skin that is similar to an Arrancar's Hierro. This will be general defense, though if have a high Za Koa Skill, you can temporarily double your defense. Masters can do it for ten post, Advanced for seven, adept for four and beginners for two. All come with a three post cooldown. But that's where the similarities end, and the differences begin. What makes a demon's Akuma Kyodo: so different? Well, for instance, this layer of skin is not just applied physically like Arrancar's are or any other races natural defense. What makes a demon's defense stands out is that it applies to magic, spiritual attacks, their environments, how resistant they are to poisons or toxins and even how much their mental state improves. You see, thanks to having so much magic being pumped into their bodies, their defense is MUCH more wide spread then any Shinigami, Arrancar or even Iramasha. Basically, the higher your defense is, the most attacks, barriers or ANYTHING in general; the more resilient you are to anything offensive being thrown at you. So a demon's Akuma Kyodo is not something to scoff at, ignore or consider the same.
In relation to Akuma Kyodo, her ability to have a thick layer of defence is nothing to laugh at. Due to her overwhelming strength in such a petite body, it has also come to a recognition that she is capable of withstanding many different attacks of all variety. Her Akuma Kyodo is similar to Rella's in a way. Like Rella and a few others, Dragon Slayer is capable of shifting the focus of Akuma Kyodo based energy into different locations over his body. For example, if someone were to strike at her stomach with a sword, she could shift the wide-spread Akuma Kyodo into the point where the sword was stabbing; and knock it away with the amount of defensive layer produced through her own dark aura shifting it. Not only this, but her Akuma Kyodo can become twice as more resilient as to what it normally would be once she coats it in the dark aura within her body. She could coat her torso in it to avoid slashes having a major toll on her. This is her main focus, to avoid getting as injured as he can; and her intense Akuma Kyodo is capable of producing such an effect. Even more protective that Nnoitra's hierro in many ways.
Black Inferno Blast
Black Inferno is a massive burst of destructive energy a demon can unleash if they have Adept or higher on Za Koa. It starts by gathering energy from Za Koa along with the Demon's Blood and any type of darkness. From there, it will form into a ball of darkness that can be used to unleash serious damage upon anything it hits; resulting in a black explosion that is similar to a cero in destruction and can be broken down like a bala as well. Though, unlike a cero or bala, The Black Inferno Blast does alot more then just simply explode. When it explodes, if trapped within the blast, the opponent will begin to feel extreme amounts of heat generating from their skin; so hot, in fact, some believe they are actually on fire from the strain on a person's will. However, this does more then that. That's simply the sign of a dangerous demon parasite entering a person's body. If a direct contact is made or even partial contact, there will be a strong rush of parasites, demon magic and Za Koa's force entering a person's body. From that point, over the course of five post if there was a direct hit or three for a indirect, this will begin to heavily tax an opponent. It will force them to drain extreme amounts of energy until they are somewhat weakened, slowed or damaged if they are unable to extract it from there bodies.
Along with that, if they get hit enough with Black Inferno Blast they even run the risk of dying if it begins to suck the life energy out of them if there is nothing else to extract. The effects also vary from level to level. Adept Za Koa users will be able to do all of the above, while the higher you go, the more quickly, effective and longer the effects will last along with doubling in strength for each skill increase. Therefore, it is highly wise to stay on your toes when a demon opponent is firing this Black Inferno Blast. It could be your last time doing so if you fail to separate this from a regular energy type attack.
Above is explained the typical Black Inferno Blast that can typically be found being used by most other demons within the world. Although, Dragon Slayer does have a rather unique black inferno blast, it is different to every other normal version of it. The Black Inferno Blast is capable of being manipulated with the dark aura within her body that can provide aid to her body, so that she can shift it into different locations. For example, the blade of her sword is capable of being coated in this dark energy of black inferno blast. Not only this, but instead of simply firing it off, she can attach this dark aura to it and double the original power of it, coating her body in it, and when a person comes to strike her, and they hit the barrier or black inferno, it would explode back at them with tremendous strength and double the force of a typical black inferno blast.
Although, it is key to be noted that Nami is not the greatest when it comes to the art of magic or demon crafting, although she is not useless in it either. She is capable of utilising this to an extent beyond most normal level demons; which can prove quite handy in certain situations. Although there are many ways her magic can be used, it is quite an interesting concept to be honest.
UNIQUE ATTRIBUTES
Strength
Strength is probably one of the key features to Dragon Slayer's powers. Her overwhelming strength is something that she takes pride in, her strength is quite possibly her first and foremost attribute, overwhelming every other aspect of her; even speed and magic ability. The strength of her could be equal to the toughest of opponents in history, her strength (although she never uses it), if used as a punch, could easily knock someone through multiple buildings, across from a powerful punch. A single punch from Dragon Slayer, especially with her right handed glove? That could easily shatter bones, cause internal bleeding and even rupture organs if they were a direct hit or even a desired amount of pressure behind it. Even more so, due to how she normally doesn't use her fists, a lot of this outrageous strength is transferred into her swinging of her sword. The strength that she is able to put into her sword is tremendous, doing even more damage than the punches previously mentioned could be capable of doing. With a swing of her large sword, she could easily slice open a human body like it was hot butter, falling in two if it was a direct hit. Not only this, but it could tear through skin like it was butter. Even if she hadn't hit you with the attack or any form of her strength being shown, it could quite easily be shown through the air pressure that is launched out. Say, the strike swiped in front of the opponents body, the opponent dodging it. They could quite easily be knocked unsteady by the pure amount of air pressure launched after the strike. This is quite a useful technique that Nami uses to make her opponent unstable or showcase her power, slashing constantly with her blade and letting off waves of pure wind and reiatsu.
Intense speed
Although her power is extremely high, it needs to be noted that Dragon Slayer is not slow at all when it comes to her speed. She can keep up with many people, and this isn't something that should be taken lightly when it comes to a battle of speed and pure strength. Her intense speed is something that she utilises to make her sword techniques and powers more effective in this way. Although, her main feature over her speed is not typically through her ability to outrun people or her ability to use speed to her advantage, but her focus of speed is through her upper body movements. Her upper body speed is something that allows her to move almost instantly, perhaps even faster than the eye can see. It is possible for Dragon Slayer to move her body at a speed faster than the speed of light, appearing as if she had not made an attack at all, or be able to twist her arms and weapons within the blink of an eye. This is the true power of her speed, her attack speed; something that allows her to launch of attacks that are both intently powerful and fast. For some people, it may even appear to be beyond their perception; although for others, her attack speed could be seen; yet they would still have troubles following it, as it is her main attribute of power along with her strength.
Swordsmanship and Weapon Proficiency
One of the other key features behind Dragon Slayer is her amazing swordsman ship in both new-style overpowered and old style sword play. She is often found changing between these two styles in combat, using he strength and speed in conjunction with her amazing sword play to be able to wield many different weapons, not just swords. To many, she could very easily be considered one of the best swordsmen to ever live, as she has spent most of her life focusing on developing her powers with her sword techniques and powers. She is capable of brining down a lot of destruction with these sword styles and her knowledge of blades, especially in her final and only form, this is extremely useful as her swords are more slender and appear more manoeuvrable. Although despite her amazing swordsmanship, she is also a master in all things weapons; when it comes to a gun or a sword? She is capable of utilising it to her needs as much as she needs. This allows a wide variety of effects when it comes to attacks and different methods of killing.
Dark aura
The dark aura that surrounds Dragon Slayer is yet another one of her most unique attributes when it comes to her powers. This unique attribute doesn't typically have an effect on her appearance, rather it's something that comes from within her body. There is a dark aura within her as a demon, and she has found a way to manipulate it to her will. The dark aura, in a way, is something unique to her; and she doesn't even know the history or when it came to her knowledge of use. At her will, she release this dark energy from within her body and cover parts of her body with it. What does the dark aura do? Well, in short, it doubles the power, speed and amount of energy output she is capable of using for a single post, and can only be used every five posts. Although, one of the major interesting features of this, and drawbacks, is that she can only cover two limbs at a time with this dark aura. So, for example, if Dragon Slayer was to strike with her sword; she could warp this energy onto her arms to greatly increase her already tremendous strength as well as doubling the amazing speed of her fast attack speed, being able to slice before the opponent can even see the strike. If their focus is elsewhere or they're not perceptive enough, it could very well slice them open and take them down as if they had got hit from nothing.
Dragon souls absorption
As said in the title, this is a fairly straight forward idea and fairly interesting technique. As her title states, she is Dragon Slayer; which everyone knows her as, which comes with this effect. One she has slain someone who either has the power of a dragon, is a dragon or is connected through a dragon in anyway; she can absorb their souls and use this to fuel her later explained powers. These souls can only, however, be absorbed if she is within a certain distance of the slain dragon or dragon user, she has to be standing within at least a kilometre for her to absorb the dragons soul and take on the effects it grants. However, as she hunts and attempts to destroy dragons, she is usually found in combat with them to kill them.
