• Personality: Dan is a well-built and hearty pirate. He is a very lively and energetic character that brightens people's moods around him. Dan is quite easily stirred up and can anger a bit easy as well. It can get to a point to where he would lose control of himself if pushed too far. Dan prefers taking action over creating speech.

Dan cherishes his friends. He would stand up and fight for his friends. Dan does not harbor hatred, but rather would ignore those who oppose him. Dan doesn't hate, he just won't like certain folks that loathe him. A unique aura surrounds Dan where people adapt to him pretty easy, becoming friendlier. Even the most stubborn of his enemies tend to to have a bit of a change of heart when it comes to Dan.

Background History

• Background: Dan was born in a small remote town named Sasai relatively close to Karakura Central. Dan grew up only knowing his father, Albert. It is said that the mother had disappeared too early in his childhood to remember. At the age of 12, Dan was separated from his father during a remnant of war that destroyed Sasai and nearly killed both of them. Albert had to send him off to escape the calamity of the skirmish and defend the rest of the folks. Dan was then shoved out to sea, in hopes of survival.

The next day, Dan was later found by a band of pirates traveling in search of riches. The captain, known far and wide as Barrog, decided to rescue Dan and not let him "swim with the fishes". Dan was then accepted into "Captain Barrog's Finest". He began training with the use of axes, in spite of what had happened to his hometown of Sasai. A few years later, Dan turned 20. He began to think of his father Albert and hoping he was alright and that one day they would reunite. Then in the distance off the starboard side of the ship, Dan saw what was possibly a spirit. Dan wiped his eyes and looked once again...nothing. The morning after, Captain Barrog made port in Karakura Central, and this is where Dan leaves behind the crew in search for his father Albert.

• Roleplay Sample: It is the dusk of night, and Dan was walking down a dark road. All of a sudden, Dan can sense a slight presence nearby. This presence started to bear heavily on Dan. He looked around frantically in search of the source of this obscene presence. There was nothing in sight. Then, this presence drew near. As it came closer, Dan could sense not just a single object, but several objects moving towards him. They were human. Dan could smell the bloodlust pulsing through their skin. One of them pounced towards Dan, going to slash him with a two-handed sword. Dan quickly drew his mighty axe, and brought it down into the attacker. "Come at me, you FILTHY BRIGANDS!!!" Dan said as he withdrew into a defensive stance. Two others launched at him, but Dan swung with such fierceness, the swing was too quick that it felled them in one swoop. Dan cut down the other two. Dan's Rage was building and was now able to sense the four others lying in wait to strike. [/font]
