General Information
Name: Raiki Lync
Age: 32
Gender: Male
Overall Appearance
Personality:
Philosophy- While they're trained to confront Hollows in order to defeat them just as Shinigami do, the biggest difference between the Quincy and Shinigami, since ancient times, is whether to kill or not to kill Hollows. As the Shinigami, who tried to purify Hollows with their Zanpakutō and send them to Soul Society, versus the Quincy, who stuck to the thorough killing of Hollows. The idea is a simple concept of Human Justice/Vengeance. "Hollows devour souls of Humans, so why must it be that those who harm and kill friends and relatives get sent peacefully to Soul Society?"
He is seen as cool and calm, and able to process any information he may receive, no matter how shocking or disappointing it may be. Raiki often appears aloof and is indifferent, and rarely shows any emotions other than slight annoyance or dissatisfaction on certain subjects. Having the ambition to walk his path despite all that has befallen him. Raiki is willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish his goal, even if it means lying to his followers and using people as bait for the outcome he desires. He views equality and justice as an evil that must be dispelled and encourages social battle to maintain evolution within society. Raiki is very proud of his own power, but unlike other members of his race, possesses no physical signs of arrogance or overconfidence. He rarely speaks, and when he does, he's fairly serious but is known to be around his allies to be kind, and care to talk to them to get to know them better.
Much like his ancestor Raiki is very composed, receptive, analytically, and prefers not to engage in combat; he is content on silently observing both parties until the fighting reaches its conclusion, and actually fights only when he is challenged and attacked by an opponent. Despite this, he get’s mildly offended when others commented that his foe was weak and worthless, even going as far as to defend them. He is quite respectful, particularly to the fallen and the dead. However he is noted to fight without warning when the time for it shows. Often attacking the foe in such overwhelming action.
Also shared with ancestor, he possesses incredible clarity of perception, to an almost unrealistic degree, allowing him to easily recognize illusions and different forms of spiritual energy. He is also able to pick up on subtle details, enabling him to read lip movements and even mimic something like flash step movements. Raiki has an additional "ability" to track fast-moving objects, showing off immense predictive capabilities. In other words, Raiki is capable of predicting the movements of his opponents, to the point where the opponent likens it to "seeing the future" making battles with him a battle of skill over might.
Raiki personality tends to shift while in battle. His mind and movements are sharp, thanks to his incredible clarity of perception and mix with his powers, he ends things quickly, preferring not to explain what his powers are capable of. Unless he explain it to them the moment before they die. Like others he has a dark side, this side only comes out when in battle for long periods, he starts to enjoy bloodshed and starts to fight ally or foe that gets in his way to his target. However since he prefers to end things quickly before this side sneaks out, has has some level of restraint towards it.
However Raiki own views on Justice are rather black and white, while he shall kill when needed, however when one breaks a law they shouldn't get a slap on the wrist, such as a rogue vizard getting a clean record just for siding with another person. This makes him kill even traitors without caring who or what they where.
Raiki is generally seen as a well-mannered, and yet distant individual who rarely takes heed of the affairs and advents of those around him. He always acts serene and apathetic towards other people, which could be seen as his defining feature. It is rare for him to show concern over events that perspire around him unless something of interest to him is involved. He isn't fond of delving into the affairs of others, even his friends, unless it is of dire importance or, again, an interest of his own. He believes that his involvement in petty social affairs will only wear down on his character, as well as force him to care for a particular issue that could distract him from his own goals or responsibilities. He believes having a clear mind is the key to achieving one's goals more than anything else.
However, the opposite can be said if the person of interest is a Quincy, in contrast to just a regular human. Raiki values the life of any Quincy, be it ally or enemy. He is a watchful guardian to them all, protecting, helping, and consoling them however he can. While he wouldn't go as far as to assist them with an issue right off-the-bat, and would normally have them evaluate the problem first, he will almost always provide some form of assistance, be it a simple statement of advice, to doing whatever he can for them. If one is threatening his Quincy allies, they will know no worse enemy, as Raiki will go to any lengths to ensure that his friends are safe from harm. Even if they are capable of handling themselves and will insist on his absence, Raiki will remain on the sidelines with his bow ready to make a critical strike against his friend's enemy if the former is put on the losing end. He seeks to ensure that nothing like what happened to the Quincy centuries ago ever happens again, and will go to many lengths to make that ideal so.
APPEARANCE
- Appearance Age: 28
- Appearance Description:
Raiki has long, typically messy black hair and golden eyes that pierce the darkness. He has a slight stubble that forms a curve on each side. He is approximately 192 cm tall and weighs 74 kg. He is fairly muscular. On his face, he usually carries the same expression even with the most shocking of news: a stoic, yet determined look that transmits fear to others around him.
His outfit resembles somehow of an inverted captain's haori and shihakushō, as its colors are switched. The haori is also much larger than most and is torn and worn off on the bottom, just as the shihakushō. Along with those pieces, he wears: a metal headband, metal gauntlets, with blue cloth, possibly representing his Quincy lineage and metal sabatons with black socks.
Raiki casual attire is rather classy, showing much of his noble, higher status amoung others. He wears a dark, buttoned coat with a long tail on the right side, and a collar with a larger left side. There is a blue band on the left bicep of the coat, which also has blue, ornate scrollwork sewn into the left side of the upper back, and a blue lining. He wears light blue gloves on his hands, as well as striped blue dress slacks, with black socks and black leather shoes. When he is going into crowded areas outside of his home, he dons a black tribly hat with two curled sides. Finally, he wears his Quincy Cross, as well as his grandfather's around his neck.

HUMAN SKILLS
- Human Skills:
Immense Spiritual Energy: Spiritually aware Humans, even Quincy, don't naturally project Spiritual energy that could gain the attention of the likes of Shinigami or Hollows. Generally, Quincy are much more notable for harnessing energy rather than projecting it, unlike Shinigami. However, like the Stern Ritter, and the Vandenreich as a whole, this is untrue, as they have proven that Quincy can easily reach the same level and caliber as even Captain-level Shinigami. Raiki is typically no exception to this revelation. He projects a level of Spiritual Pressure that is unheard of by Quincy standards, harnessing and controlling it with such a profound affinity and restraint, one could often assume that he was a Shinigami under the guise of a Quincy. It is great enough to where that releasing such a power can darken the area around him, giving a visage of night falling upon the day time like an apocalypse. The area around himself and his opponent takes a dark blue hue, and Raiki's entire body radiates a light blue Spiritual Pressure, making him seem as if he is a shining beacon of salvation in the darkness, one who battles and destroys beings of dark power and corruption in the name of his own pride and duty. His Spiritual Pressure, as mentioned above, takes the form of a light blue shade of color, a symbol of maturity and righteousness, and it's exertion has a tendency to make his opponents and his allies perspire in fear. Of course, as he makes it a habit to keep his power contained, Raiki rarely exerts such Spiritual Pressure unless the desire to show his dominance over his foe begins to take more and more hold of him. And like other humans, Raiki is not one to shy away from emotions when under duress. Often, enraging him will cause him to release this magnificent power in an uncontrollable amount, signifying his unyielding wrath being projected upon those foolish enough to provoke it. Despite this Raiki is able to completely hide his spiritual energy to the point people can confuse him for a normal powerless human.
Medical Knowledge: As a former world renown doctor, Raiki method of healing and use of tools are second to none in his field. He believes that all should be healed rather they be the rich or the poor. Raiki is known to be highly proficient in conventional healing techniques and herbal healing. His knowledge of anatomy is great enough that upon examination of opponent he can often guess there weakness in there body, as well tend to any and all wounds without problems. He knows every race anatomy and treatments for them, he even created new methods to heal other people, and even restore lost powers.
Brilliant Intellect: Born and raised under one of the most revered and well respected families in japan, as well as one of the most powerful Quincy based Clans in history, Raiki has a great talent in using his intelligence and perceptive nature in battle. Unless he is evoked with rage or intense emotions, Raiki never lashes out foolishly at his opponent in a direct manner unless he has planned to do so beforehand. Each move he makes, unless one has had to have been thought up at the last minute during a surprise attack, is planned to the furthest detail that his mind can take him to. His pose, his currently held weapon, his opponent's weapon, the battlefield, the weather, climate, whether or not more battles are taking place around them; these are all factors and concepts that Raiki takes into accord throughout the battle. He uses whatever means needed to bring his foe down, using the terrain against them, as well as using a specialized Gintou to properly keep distance between his foe or bend the surroundings to his benefit. To him, a one on one battle with a formidable foe is similar in concept to a game of chess, believe it or not. Strategy, tactics, and planning must all be utilized in order for victory to be achieved. Sometimes, he will use a conversation between himself and his enemy, regardless of who started it, to his advantage. Using this as a means of stalling his foe, he ignores what words they say and uses this time to plan out how he will attack them next, which almost always takes place when the foe lets their guard down. Unless he is using it as a prideful demonstration of it's powers, Raiki almost always knows when to release his powerful Vollstandig. In a similar sense, unless he is wishing to use it for shock value as well as humiliation, Raiki always knows when to activate the use of a stolen Bankai, utilizing it's slightly ciphered powers for whatever situation that requires it's usage.
Multilingual: A particular talent of his that he picked up when studying with his grandfather, and even more when he studied in college. Raiki is fluent in at least three living foreign languages, those being English, German, and Spanish. He learned quite a lot of German during his childhood as that was the primary language that he and his family would use to communicate with each other. His skill in Spanish also gives him an edge when fighting Arrancar. As their Zanpakutō names are mostly Spanish, Raiki can make a sometimes accurate guess on the nature and powers of an Arrancar's Reserreccion with just knowing it's name. Along with this, he has a particular interest in learning Latin, a now considered dead language. While he isn't totally fluent in it, he knows quite a good deal of it's basics. He would use this as a means to send encrypted messages to his allies, knowing that the Soul Reapers would be unable to properly make out what it meant.
Eyes Of The Divine- Raiki has the natural visual capability to capture greater light, resulting in the eye becoming a powerful visual receptor. This gives the eye a greater ability to "discriminate" objects, as in it can distinguish objects from greater distances. As well this also gives the eye the ability to visualize more "frames" per second, thus an enhanced ability to distinguish motion and react to it
While a human eye can distinguish around 10 million colors, Raiki can distinguish more colors along the electromagnetic spectrum, due to its ability to capture far more light. This assists the eye in visualizing objects from far away distances (Distances where normal eyes would be unable to distinguish the object from the horizon), and distinguish movement, making it easier to read the motions of a target and react accordingly. This is not to say the eyes necessarily "predict" the motion of the target, but rather because each frame of motion is being captured with such accuracy, the eyes assist in reacting to motion in the present. Thus making it go perfectly with his other gifts.
Blut Enhanced Line of Sight: Blut is the key to a Quincy's survival; it is a power that can allow them to fight on par with super empowered beings, or creatures of much larger size than their own, and can even allow them to live for ages more than the average human. To a master of Blut, like Raiki, the application of one's Reishi knowledge to their real world abilities is seamless. Since he already uses Blut to enhance the rest of his physical capabilities, his eye sight should be no different. By implementing a small and steady stream of Reishi into the chords that attach to his eyes, Raiki can augment the reaction timing of his eyes, as well as their movement in tracking the path of a target. It is dangerous, of course, as Raiki could risk blinding himself if he attempts to keep track of numerous enemies at once, but it's benefits far outweigh it's own drawbacks. With this, a single enemy might as well consider standing still, as they will not be able to escape his line of sight; he will track them endlessly, and make it to where avoiding his arrow attacks becomes nigh impossible. However, while doing this, Raiki prefers to be in place without moving from his spot, as moving can cause tension to build in his eye's veins and possibly blind him temporary.
Ainu: Thanks to his near death experience two years ago, that trauma unlocked a Kaizme trait known as Six Paths. However unlike others Raiki only has 1 path, and believes it to be a Quincy skill not a family trait. It allows Raiki to achieve two very distinct, yet closely associated feats — teleportation and intangibility. Ainu allows the user to transfer anything to another dimension, that is composed from an innumerable amount of randomly arranged and differently sized rectangular prisms among a dark and seemingly endless void. This is where he stores his medical supplies, and a countless number of Quincy related items, he can summon these with a flick of his hand. This technique, when used through right eye, is also able to make Raiki "intangible" by transporting portions of their body to the same pocket dimension. Raiki is able to transport objects to the other dimension. By creating a swirling distortion, Raiki is able to open a void into the other dimension. This technique's effect acts as an attractive force, both visibly drawing the target inwards and distorting their form until they disappear, although physical contact is required to absorb a target. After absorbing targets through this process, Raiki is able to eject them from the eye used at any time of their choosing, demonstrating the ability to eject objects with varying degrees of force. This is demonstrated by Raiki, who uses it with weapons of various proportions and/or quantity with relative ease and at a moment's notice, giving opponents little to no opportunity to react accordingly. Another unique trait of Ainu is that it allows Raiki to teleport to any location he desires, including the other dimension. When using Ainu to teleport living beings, including himself, whatever the target is touching will be warped along with them and their energy becomes untraceable. The unique trait of his left eye is the ability of intangibility. When activated, any part of Raiki's body that overlaps with a solid object is seamlessly warped to the other dimension, making it appear as though he is phasing through them. Using this ability, Raiki can dodge most attacks, and by overlapping his entire body into large objects, he can not only conceal himself from view, but erase all traces of his energy. Raiki is also able to enter and travel through the ground using this ability, a characteristic he often exploits to ambush his opponents from below. Though he is unable to establish any physical contact while being intangible. He also seemingly possesses the capability to extend this intangibility to whatever he's touching at the moment of activation, as long as he is able to maintain some form of contact with at least a part of the desired item or person. Raiki centers his Ainu around his right eye and also requires physical contact with the target to warp them. the primary weakness of this technique is that both aspects cannot be used concurrently, as he must become and remain tangible in order to transport himself or others, providing a small opportunity in which he is unable to pass through objects and thus, is vulnerable to injury. This deficiency means that he must also materialize when ejecting stored items as well, presenting the same vulnerability. In order to bypass this weakness and remain in Ainu's dimension for a longer duration, Raiki has to "solidify" and absorb his entire body. The time it takes him to absorb something is proportional to its mass, and that it takes longer to absorb himself than another person or object. Also this allows him to send attacks into his personal dimension but has to have a form of contact with it in order to do so.
Advanced Growth Rate: A gift and a curse from his ancestor. People note the Kaizme clan to be people that can learn, and grow stronger after every battle. They grasps the basic control of advanced techniques in days where it would take several years for even the most gifted of people. Some even learn techniques by sheer instinct. And master their racial forms within a few days and enhance it over the years. Raiki ever since birth was able to see spirits and mastered the basics at the age of 5. But this also is mixed into his learning capability as well, being able to learn new subjects in mere hours just after reading a book. Even capable of performing new breakthroughs with methods that would of needed countless years of research . Because of this raw talent and growth rate Raiki has known no equal in the Quincy arts however, he would welcome someone with more skill and talent to appear.
Swordsmanship Expert: During his younger days, his grandfather would often spar with Raiki in casual sword fighting practice, using wooden practice swords as their weapons of choice. From this, Raiki took an interest in fighting with the sword, though he preferred his archery above it still. From there, Raiki's grandfather proceeded to legitimately train him in the art of sword fighting. With this, Raiki carries a great level of skill in sword fighting. Though one might consider it to be on the same caliber as a standard Captain level Shinigami's own skill, and despite the fact that it isn't his most prominent trait, Raiki is still a lethal foe when using a sword-like weapon. In most cases, he uses the Seele Schneider, a unique form of arrow, as his sword stand-in weapon. As he strikes, he takes hold of the weapon with both hands, gripping it tightly, and slashing at the opponent's form with great speed and force. His style of sword fighting is classified as Kendo, which he utilizes to great effect. He puts power into his strikes, making sure that each and any hit that he makes does some form of damage to his opponent, as well as put enough of his Blut-augmented strength to keep his arms stable and strong when defending against an opponent's oncoming blow. While he is talented in it, he does not use swordsmanship for long, and will almost always revert back to his preferred combat style: archery.
Shield Fighting: A term used to the style of weaponized fighting that Raiki uses when he only has his bow equipped. In many cases, a Seele Schneider can be inferior to the blade wielded by a Shinigami, the Zanpakutō, in their released states. A Spirit Weapon, however, excels much better, and can even surpass a Zanpakutō when used properly. Since his bow forms itself into a cross like shape, Raiki primarily uses it's form as a shield or even as a close range chakram.
Ittōsesshō (一刀殺生, "Killing the Sword/Blade"): As of right now, the only advanced Kendo technique that Raiki knows is the one called Ittosessho. This is a technique that he learned while training to become a Stern Ritter, as it was mostly required by them in order to properly battle a Captain level Shinigami. Ittosessho is a technique where the user gathers spiritual energy into their blades and slashes down upon their foe's defending Zanpakutō with such great force that the weapon is broken clean in two. As this is normally a technique used only by master Zanjutsu level Shinigami, most would think that a Quincy isn't capable of such a devastating attack. However, Raiki learned this by the time he was 15. In the case of the Seele Schneider, as used by Raiki, two factors must be applied. The first is that more Reishi from their surroundings must be gathered and implemented within the constantly moving rotation of Reishi already inside of the potent, chainsaw-like weapon. How much of it needs to be absorbed varies depending on the strength of the opponent that Raiki is facing. If too much is absorbed, the Reishi gathered could erupt from the Seele and spread out at a violent rate, possibly harming Raiki in the process. The second factor is the his Blut Arterie, which increases their physical strength greatly. Most all of their strength must be put into this Blut variant, leaving little means for Raiki to defend himself against another attacker. When both of these are utilized, Raiki slashes down on the Shikai/Bankai and cuts the weapon clean in two. It should be noted that Raiki use this at the most need moment than wildly swinging.
Hand to Hand Expertise: As a backup from wherever he may be disarmed in a battle, Raiki carries knowledge of being able to fight with one's hands when no other weapon. When he was first brought into the family training program, Raiki was one of the many students who failed their first few sessions of training due to them being almost entirely unfamiliar with such arts, and as a result, they were all punished accordingly for their failures. Afterwards, Raiki realized that the his family did not accept failure on any level, and vowed to push his physical skills to their limits. With persistence, he passed his exams with moderate success, in which allowed him to enter the more advanced stages of hand to hand combat. More brutal training sessions with various tutors and instructors from these particular classes gave him a more than adequate grasp on how to properly use one's physical body to win their battles. While he was not the highest scoring in his class, he still passed exceptionally well. The primary form of martial art that he was taught during training was the popular and effective style known as Jujutsu, which is used by many modern militaries today. Despite this, and like his swordsmanship, Raiki does what he can to avoid fighting an opponent up close if he is at all capable of doing so. Even with a sword, it is not in his interest or better advantage to fight in close quarters, much less with his own two hands. Thanks to the power of his Blut Arterie, however, he can evenly match a Captain in some hand to hand prowess, but no further. Even against a Master of Hakuda, Raiki's better interest would be to simply stave them off until he can get at a better distance.
Jujutsu Expert: During his time with his grandfather, at least, in his initiation program, Raiki was forced to learn the ways of martial arts and hand to hand combat, the most prominent being that of Jujutsu. A popular fighting style used by many modern military forces, Jujutsu is the practical art of using an opponent's balance to the user's advantage, consisting primarily of throws, grabs, and locks while also disarming an opponent of their weapon, leaving them completely vulnerable. Raiki is very potent in this art, though he is no master; he is capable of many advanced techniques in conjunction with his Blut Arterie to make his attacks and holds all the more unbreakable. His kicks and strikes, despite being rarely used, are all aimed directly at specific weak parts of the body, using a striking system known as "Atemi" (当て身), which deals in harming the opponent on both physical and mental levels by appearing to strike one area of the body, but quickly goes for another body part that the opponent has left exposed. Raiki also has a tendency to choke slam opponents who are close to him and are unable to respond to any of his attacks. This is due to his preference of immobilizing his opponent before striking them down with a death blow.
Heiliges Feuer (神聖滅火の手 (ホーリーファイア), Hairihhi Faia; German for "Holy Fire", Japanese for "Sacred Destruction Flames"): Raiki bears knowledge of the creation of "blue flames". Through the gathering of reishi and condensing it to it's utmost limit, Raiki, through a special method known by the Vandenriech, ignites the reishi, which manifests as immensely dense blue flames. The power of these flames are enough enough to set fire to the rocks and sand of Hueco Mundo, that usually cant burn, and are able to set alight all things made of reishi. The most common method of using these flames are in the forms of giant pillars, and, using his ability as a Quincy to absorb reishi Raiki is capable of standing within the pillars, unharmed, for a surprise attack.
Faust von Sonne (太陽の聖戦 (パウスト ボン ソン) German for "Fist of the Sun", Japanese for "Sacred Combat of the Sun"): In fact, Raiki takes his mastery of the Heiliges Feuer even further; by integrating it within his spiritual energy, he gains a combat style unlike any other; transforming it into blue flames which he can manipulate extensively, being able to create, control, and become blue fire. With this in mind, Raiki is able to create fire-based attacks and is immune to being burnt. Raiki's already impressive hand-to-hand blows are augmented drastically in both offensive and defensive manners as he can cover his own body with blue flames; allowing him to use his own body as a make-shift weapon unique to himself, drastically increasing his close-quarters skills. The blue flames can take on a variety of functions, such as offensives, supplements, and altering of elements. The generated flames can be manipulated in a wide variety of ways, their "type" can be changed at will, and they can even be given a material consistency by manipulating the magical particles in the air. The flames have a "blunt" effect to them, causing impact damage alongside burning. He more often than not utilizes this method of fighting to enhance his blows; sending flames from his limbs in order to extend his reach even further. This normally catches people off guard do the nature of the blue flames.
Azure Lava: An extension of Raiki's Heiliges Feuer ability; when manifesting the azure lava, Raiki heats the azure flames up to 1,200 °C (1,292 to 2,192 °F); thanks to the spiritual composition of the blue flames, it enables Raiki to simulate the effect of lava, which naturally occurs deep within the earth's surface.; from there, he can manipulate it in a way akin to the regular blue flames. In essence, it is a vastly upgraded version of Heiliges Feuer; the intense heat can of the lava can vaporize an iceberg instantly and boil the seawater that the lava lands in. Just like with his Faust von Sonne, Raiki's already impressive hand-to-hand blows are augmented drastically in both offensive and defensive manners as he can cover his own body with azure lava; allowing him to use his own body as a make-shift weapon unique to himself, drastically increasing his close-quarters skills. Just by forming an attack, the heat coming off of his body has been shown to deter the power of enemy attacks slightly; and along with the incredible corrosion and temperatures, the lava-based attacks also carry highly explosive properties. However, because of its immense power, the technique is taxing upon Raiki's spiritual energy and stamina.

QUINCY SKILLS
- Quincy Items:
Reiryoku Absorption & Manipulation: The most well known and dangerous power of any and all Quincy is their ability to absorb, merge, and manipulate Spiritual Energy from anywhere in their surroundings and using it as a form of weapon or defensive measure. So great is this talent that they perform, that no other spiritual race has ever been seen utilizing such control to the degree that the Quincy can use. They are superior to the average human because of this, and they are a more than a potent threat for Shinigami, Arrancar, and especially Hollows. When a very well trained and strong Quincy is within a realm such as Soul Society or Hueco Mundo, the possibilities for their powers are nigh endless. They might as well be literal gods on a plane populated by mortals, as these realms are composed entirely of Reishi and therefore, completely vulnerable for the Quincy to absorb and manipulate for their own advantage. As Raiki was raised and taught by one of the most feared and respected Quincy families ever known, his ability to manipulate Reishi is all the more apparent and even considered to be greater than that of the majority of other Quincies. He had been brought up from the young age of four to learn the proper ebb and flow of the Reishi around him, learning how to channel it properly and came to match his grandfather, his family's head, by the age of 19. This training was brutal, but it paid off in so many ways. His knowledge in how the Spiritual energy around him flows is so great, it comes as natural to him as breathing. His grandfather's studies, his own independent studies, and his knowledge acquired from the Vandenreich has given him an incredibly perceptive and skilled means of absorbing and manipulating Reishi for his own use. This knowledge combined with his perceptive nature allows him to properly deduce what level of power that his foe is currently in, knowing whether or not they have properly achieved Bankai. He can also track his enemy's movements by keeping a feel out for their spiritual pressure, and can do this for at least two miles at a time, making it nigh impossible to surprise him unless one is using absolute caution and stealth. It is because of Raiki's incredible grasp on the art of manipulating and absorbing Reishi in comparison to other Stern Ritter.
Schatten (自己韜晦 (シャドー), Shaten; German for "Shadow", Japanese for "Concealing One's Position") Schatten is a unique and highly arcane Quincy technique that is considered to be one of the oldest and most ancient of Quincy abilities. By firmly placing one hand on his shadow, and then quickly extending his other hand out to the nearest vertical surface to him. When this happens, his shadow begins to take shape and move onto the surface that Raiki's other hand is pointing at. It then flattens itself on the surface and takes the shape of a large black cross. This shadow is an actual portal that connects the dimension that Raiki is in with the other dimension that he desires to connect to. This not only allows him to make quick getaways from battles, but it also allows his allies to quickly enter into his respective dimension as well, reinforcing his numbers and giving him an edge in a fight. It carries a greater advantage over Kaisakuhashi in that it can be deployed quicker and without the need of Ginto. The downside to this technique is that it obviously cannot be used when one's shadow is not present, or when it is too dark. It can also be used for sneak attacks on unsuspecting opponents as well. Often when using Schatten, the user's shadow forms into a human like figure that takes hold of them before sucking them back into the darkness to their new destination. With his sheer mastery over Reishi control, as well as Schatten itself, Raiki is capable of utilizing this "clone" for more deadlier purposes. The most obvious form of this improvised technique is actually bringing his shadow out into human form and commanding it to fight along side him. In this form, the shadow warrior uses powerful hand to hand strikes in sync with it's deadly claw like fingers. Other uses often involve the clone appearing out to shield Raiki from an unsuspecting, back-facing attack. A more sinister but effective means of deploying the shadow is releasing it from the opponent's shadow. This is a very useful tactic for holding the opponent in place, as the Schatten clone carries a very powerful grip with it's deployment as well, and can be used to deliver extremely powerful attacks that might take too long to prepare otherwise. What is odd is that, while the clone never turns on Raiki and follows his mental commands, it also seems to act on it's own when attacking his opponent, hinting that this Shadow Clone might be more than just a construct of black Reishi, but easy to kill.
Seele Schneider (魂を切り裂くもの (ゼーレシュナイダー), Zēreshunaidā; German for "Soul Cutter", Japanese for "That Which Slits the Soul") A Seele Schneider is a unique and deadly arrow that is used by various Quincy for close quarters combat situations. A Seele Schneider almost always appears as a thin short handle made of a silver metal material, with a hook like attachment at it's bottom. When it is activated, the handle shoots out a thin stream of Reishi that forms into the appearance of a blade, allowing one to use it as a close range weapon. Despite it's appearance, the Seele Schneider is not considered to be a sword. Rather, it is simply a unique arrow that is often employed when going sword against sword in a fight. The Reishi that the weapon release actually functions more like that of a chainsaw than an actual sword. The spiritons within it move at 3 million rounds around the weapon's edge at every second, and despite boasting considerable cutting power, the true function of this unique arrow is to dampen and weaken the connection of spiritons in whatever the weapon cuts. This allows more Reishi from the object to be absorbed and taken in by Raiki in order to further enhance his own powers and attacks. Raiki carries nine Seele's with him at all times. He uses one of them for sword combat, allowing him to parry oncoming attacks by melee oriented foes as well as dish out damage to them without having to resort to his bow. As for the other eight Seele, Raiki uses them for much more dire situations, using them as "last resort" arrows when drawing his bow, as well as having them conjure one of his most powerful attacks.
Sprenger (破芒陣, shupurenga; German for "Explosion", Japanese for "Ripping Grass Formation"): Sprenger is a very powerful Gintou spell that requires the use of five Seel Schneiders, such as the ones that Raiki uses in desperate situations. Raiki places five remaining Seels into the ground around the opponent, stabbing them into the surface with enough force to keep them stationary. When all of them have been placed in their appropriate stations, they begin to form a pentagon shaped seal around their target within the ground. The Reish also goes towards the target as well, firmly locking them into place with densely packed spiritual energy so that they won't escape this attack's power. Each of the five Seele act as accumulators of sorts, each gathering the necessary amount of Reishi needed to initiate the blast. When the collection is complete, and the opponent has no where to run, Raiki pulls out his appropriate Gintou tube needed for this spell. Standing at the top corner of the pentagon, he tilts the tube slightly and lets it's liquid drop down onto the Seele at said corner. This liquid basically "ignites" the Reishi packed within the Seeles and releases it. What happens next is a brutal and powerful explosion, forged by the combined, ignited Reishi in the Seeles that travels into the center of the pentagon. The opponent is totally engulfed, completely obliterated by the power of this explosion as soon as it is released. Even if they are durable enough to survive it's first blast, the explosion only continues to grow until it reaches the edge of the pentagon, therefore making it almost impossible to survive. A drawback of this spell is that it leaves an absence of Reishi behind it, forcing Raiki to resort to other means of combat if this spell somehow fails.
Gert Sprenger (包囲破芒陣 (ゲルトシュプレンガー), Gerutoshupurengā; German for "The Stern Javelin Warrior Explosion", Japanese for "Siege Ripping Grass Formation") This is a particular Ginto spell that requires the use of the Seele Schneider. Raiki initiates this technique by firing a Seele out at his foe at high speeds. The arrow then either stops right before hitting the foe, or it actually impales them. Either are acceptable for this attack. Once there, the Seele releases a cubed shaped barrier of Reishi around the foe, trapping them completely. This Reishi barrier absorbs Reishi from the opponent (this is more advanced if the Seele has actually hit them) and into the barrier more, strengthening it's power. Raiki then takes out a single Ginto tube, regardless of what it was meant for, and then throws it at the barrier. When they connect, the Ginto is absorbed into the barrier and the Reishi is ignited, causing the barrier to implode and thus creating an enormous explosion, and thus causing immense if not fatal damage to the foe.
Hirenkyaku Master (飛廉脚, "flying screen step/god step"; literally "flying bamboo-blind leg") Hirenkyaku is the Quincy's answer to Shunpo and Sonido used by Shinigami and Arrancar, respectively. In order to execute this advanced technique, the Quincy must place a great amount of Spiritual energy under their feet, and then moves them at high speeds, allowing them to practically "ride" the Spiritual Energy from one place to another over a short distance. Even with this in mind, those who use Hirenkyaku do not appear to be moving at all. Instead, they simply appear to go from one place to another with just a simple, light blue flash. Raiki's skill in this particular technique was very high, even in comparison to the other Stern Ritter. He moves with such deft speed, his person is almost seamless. The speed that his Hirenkyaku executes will often create a slightly tangible after-images of himself that is very useful for throwing off his opponent's attention. These after-images are brief, appearing for only a couple of seconds, which usually requires Raiki to make multiple flashing movements in order for the trick to work properly.
Platform Manifestation: Raiki can create a spiritual platform below his feet, that he can use form means of travel or entering a higher airspace. He has shown to be able to use this platform as a means of offense, being able to kick it at the opponent, and causes severe damage upon impact. To the opposite extreme, it can be used for defense, and can block all but the strongest of attacks, however he can only make these block a few attacks at time.
Blut Mastery (血装 (ブルート), burūto; German for "Blood", Japanese for "Blood Guise"): Until this technique was conceived, the Quinces all had the common weakness of not being able to properly defend themselves from oncoming melee attacks. In most every scenario, a single slash from a Shinigami's Zanpakutō, or a Hollow's claws would be a death blow for a Quincy; they lacked proper protection such as Hierro. However, with the rise of the Vandenreich, a new advancement in their ability to manipulate Reishi also rose with them. Calling it "Blut", the Quincy would begin to pour great amount of Reishi into their bloodstreams, which in turn bolsters the defensive capabilities of which ever limb that the Blut is being applied to. With this, the Quincy's ability to protect themselves, as well as increase their physical combat prowess, is drastically increased to the point to where they would be considered superhuman. Blut allows the Quincy to survive even the most horrific of wounds, such as a broken neck, and it also enables them to block and counter powerful physical or projectile based attack that no ordinary human could even dream to defend against. As Raiki excels in the use of this technique, as it allows him to fight with fewer risks in battles, as well as not have to worry about being hit by surprise attacks all of the time. Blut is so advanced, that it actually comes into two variations. One of them increases the defensive properties of the Quincy, making it the most commonly used of the two. The other one increases their physical combat based ability, making them much more potent close ranged fighters. However, Blut has a serious weakness; these two variations cannot be used at the same time, as both of them require the use of two, separate Reishi networks. Another dangerous side effect is that if the blood vessels are too loaded with Reishi, they could explode and kill the Quincy from the inside out. Raiki later revealed that he was able to keep himself youthful and healthy through the power of mastering Blut. Raiki has managed to use and execute his Blut with such talent and skill, that using it comes off as seamless, natural, and as ever-present as an Arrancar's Hierro. The way he does this is by keeping a constant flow of Reishi within his veins at all time. Normally, this would be stressful, and possibly fatal, as it would normally cause the blood veins to explode. However, if one takes enough time to hone and practice this art, keeping Reishi in their blood veins will be effortless, and not at all straining. The Reishi, being constantly within Raiki's veins, feeds energy and support into his organs, of which keeps them bolstered and stronger than before, as well as keeps them from aging or losing power over time. Only when the time for Blut is required, such as a battle or a hazard, does Raiki force this Reishi to flow like it normally would under Blut. Thankfully, this doesn't deplete the Reishi he keeps within him, and it can keep going for very extended amounts of time. Raiki has stated that the longest he has been able to keep this up at once is around six to seven months. By then, the Reishi in his veins will have aged and decayed, making them unusable. To compensate, Raiki simply absorbs more Reishi from his surroundings and repeats the process once again.
Blut Vene (静血装 (ブルート・ヴェーネ), burūto vēne German for "Blood Vein", Japanese for "Stilled Blood Guise") This is the defensive variation of Blut and is the most often used, at least in the case of Raiki. The Reishi pours into his blood veins at a great amount of quantity and speed, and therefore allows him to block oncoming blows with considerably little effort involved. Whenever a blow makes contact with a Blut Vene initiated area, the impact spot reveals a pattern of light blue blood veins, where the Reishi lies. As Raiki is a Stern Ritter caliber Quincy, he is capable of utilizing Blut Vene to it's utmost potential, with such great force involved in it's execution that it can actually protect him from a Bankai empowered attack when used at it's full power. However, as a side effect, Blut Vene reduces Raiki's speed by a fair margin. If an opponent uses enough force behind an attack, the Blut Vene affected area can actually be torn and damage can be dealt to Raiki. Raiki has mastered this skill to the point where he can alter his Blut Vene consistency into an incredibly sticky substance somewhat akin to bubble gum, albeit much stronger. It can be used to pull opponents within punching range for a flurry of rebound pummels. Raiki can both stretch and contract, depending on what Raiki desires. It can be attached either by pointing at his target or through direct physical contact. Additionally, Blut Vene can also be used do cover a greater area by molding it into a sheet rather than a string. It is so reliable and durable that it can act as a shield against attacks or as a means to return them to their original caster as shown in his training returning servual Hollow Cero's back at them. When not attached to Raiki's body, Blut Vene cannot stretch more than 10 meters. Raiki ability to alter his Blut Vene shape and color, thus it cannot be seen unless his opponent uses some sort of ability to see the invisible Blut Vene on his body. However, even if an opponent uses such means, it is still almost impossible to avoid, as Raiki can simply attach it while hitting his opponent with his fists or attacks that make contact
Blut Arterie (動血装 (ブルート・アルテリエ), burūto aruterieGerman for "Blood Artery", Japanese for "Moving Blood Guise"): This is the Blut variation that increases attack power; allowing Raiki's physical attacks, such as with his fists or Seele Schneider, are much more potent and deadly. With this variation active, Raiki doesn't have to worry about an enemy outclassing him in terms of physical strength; he can easily match their own strength (that is, if they aren't overwhelmingly powerful, like beings such as Radioactive) and quickly keep up with their own blows and strikes. Blut Arterie also gives Raiki much steadier aiming and stabilization of his Spirit Weapon, which allows his arrows to be much more accurate and on target.
Ransōtengai Mastery (乱装天傀, "heavenly wild puppet suit"; literally "disheveled paradise puppet"): Ransotengai is a high level technique used by Quincy who have excelled in the art of Reishi manipulation. This ability allows Raiki to control any broken or paralyzed limb, or his entire body for that matter, using specialized Reishi wires that are controlled by his brain. This allows him to move his body as if it were a puppet of sorts, with the Reishi wires acting as the strings and helping him move his body however he wishes. This is a highly advanced technique that only a few Quincy, even among the Stern Ritter know. Ransotengai is operated by thought, not by movement, and that a truly skilled Quincy such as himself can use it to control his enemy as well which lead to Saite.
Saite (磔刑紐 (セートー), Sētō; German for "String", Japanese for "Crucifixion Strings") Is a skill created by Raiki, however it isn't limited to. An extremely precise form of using Blut Vene; Raiki activates Blut Vene in his reishi system. He then proceeds to concentrate reishi from his hand, forming a thread that binds the opponent. He can transfer the Blut to the reishi threads, locking the opponent in a surface, as if they were crucified. This is because he mix's Ransōtengai into this which is normally limited to his own body. However the amount of time the target is trapped would depend on there level of physical strength anyone with a master or above could break free in the span of a single post.
Kirchenlied: Sankt Zwinger (聖唱: 聖域礼賛 (キルヒエンリート: ザンクト・ツヴィンガー), Kiruhienrīto: Zankuto Tsuvingā; German for "Church Hymn: Saint Ward", Japanese for "Holy Chant: Sanctuary Veneration"): Considered to be the most powerful defensive based Quincy Spell in existence, Sankt Zwinger is a symbol of progress for a Quincy of this age, as activating it and using it to it's maximum potential is a sign of tremendous talent and skill. Unsurprisingly, Raiki excels in both of these, however, he uses this spell for more offensive measures. By placing four small rods into the grounds and set points on the battlefield, Raiki then proceeds to cite the proper incantation to activate the spell. When this is completed, the impossible ensues. A massive fortress composed of the surrounding area's Reishi forms around his opponent, trapping them in it's center, which forms into a massive cross. The way this technique works is that it really turns the spiritual pressure that the enemy is exerting against them. The fortress acts as a conductor of sorts for the enemy; it traps all of the Reishi that is caught inside of it, including the foe's own, and begins to compress that energy into the large cross that contains the enemy. This essentially pumps the foe's form with so much energy, that their bodies cannot take all of it, and the fortress implodes on them, creating a massive and daunting explosion that all but destroys their bodies and soul. Kirchenlied's power is best used against opponents who are more powerful than Raikito this technique is that it requires alot of time to prepare, making it better suited for large scale battles where enemies could be distracted easier. However its been to known when he says the chant, it is often in a unreadable tone
- Bankai Capturing Watch: This device is one that follows an old principle used by the Vandenreich in the war on the Soul society, and has been passed down by the Lync family up until reaching Raiki himself. It was used once during the battles against the Shinigami to capture a Zanpaktou under the name of "Riariti-hō-Enigma ", a powerful Rule element nature Bankai level Zanpaktou. The sealing device used over five hundred years ago was integrated to an seal inside a pocket watch . This pocket watch is on Raiki at all times even into battle or off, because he might need it one day. A special mechanism keeps the Zanpaktou spirit sealed inside of the watch, and it is very hard to find a way to release it, years of studying the seal Raiki has found no real way to release the Bankai without killing it. He also carry's a second pocket watch which contains Fukurou Doku a powerful Poison Bankai. Like the other one it was stolen 500 years ago, Raiki Carrys it with him as well.
Quincy Cross: As with all other Quincy, Raiki carries a small Quincy Cross with him at all times. The cross itself does not actually appear as a cross, at least, none that most modern societies recognize, but rather, it resembles a star. Similar in shape to the Vandenreich's insignia, this cross has a small circle that goes around it's middle, which is similar to the shape of Raikis own Quincy bow that he forms out of this cross, albeit, by three. The top "arm" of the cross is connected to a long chain that allows Raiki to wear the cross as a necklace. It is believed that this particular Quincy Cross is unique among other ones. Raiki has always stated that the cross is special in that it "contains his family's legacy". Raiki is a strange case, he has a total of three Quincy cross. However they don’t grant him anything extra, just an extra means to either dual wield his spirit weapon. Two of them are hidden upon his cuff’s on his right and left side, so he can draw his spirit weapon with either hand at a moment notice. The third is hidden as a necklace that he keeps under his uniform.
Ginto Master: The Quincy's answer to the Shinigami's Kidō, Gintō is a unique form of magic that harnesses a Quincy's abilities reconstructed absorbed reiatsu or the reishi stored inside of small silver tubes. Also like Kidō, the Ginto family of spells are normally varied and serve a variety of different functions. However, as the Quincy race had been believed to be extinct for a long time, the knowledge of several Ginto spells had been lost along with them. Thankfully, however, Raiki's grandfather had kept several scrolls on these ancient Ginto, and therefore, was able to teach some of them to Raiki. Like most forms of magic, Gintō is implemented through an incantation, which serves to aid in the process of molding reishi into another form. So as long as energy around them exists, they are able to exert an influence on it, even when their own reserves have been depleted. As their name implies, Ginto are all stored inside of small silver tubes, each with the Vandenreich's star insignia on their front side. When he desires to use a particular spell, he simply recites the incantation, which primes the spell, and then pops the lid of the tube off of it's capsule and the spell is released. He is known to carry at least twenty five of these tubes with him at all times, concealing them within his two silver strap like belts on his waist and leg, as well as keeping several in his coat pockets. This allows him to keep various spells within mind for most of the battle.
Kaisakuhashi (界,裂橋, "World Lacerating Bridge"): This is a spell Raiki himself developed, this Ginto severs a small region of space within the inter-dimensional boundary that separates the Living World from Hueco Mundo. By bending this tear and using it to connect to a point or locale across its dimension to another connected dimension, it creates a temporary bridge between the two planes, similar in effect to Garganta. Ordinarily this process can take several hours, however by using a material component---a Ginto infused with spiritrons from the home environment or its natives, the acceleration, formation and manifestation time of the bridge can be done within minutes to even moments. Alternatively, this technique can be used as a means of teleportating to locations within the same dimension, however due to the nature of the Dangai Precipice World, the timing of one's arrival can be off, either forward or even backward in time, making this technique somewhat dangerous as paradoxes can arise from misuse. Incantation: "In Limbo I tread, over snow white fields of sand. Anchored as its king, forever am I its guide, within these hands I form a bridge, for it is the key, my dawn, my sight."
Wachsamkeit (段平盗賊 Danbira Touzoku; German for "Vigilance", Japanese for "Sword Thief") Raiki's most common and favored Ginto spell within his arsenal. When activating Wachsamkeit, Raiki pulls out six Ginto tubes. When he activates the spell, citing it's incantation beforehand, he tosses the tubes into the air and each of them bursts in a display of silverish blue light. When the light clears, the tubes have all revealed to have unleashed condensed Reishi that manifests in the form of four, broadsword shaped arrows. Each of these potent weapons floats around Raiki's body like a set of guardians, vigilant, observant and ever ready to prevent any form of harm or hostility from reaching their master. The way Raiki utilizes these weapons is a good substitute for his own swordsmanship skill, which he prefers not to use unless he has to, as each of these weapons are not controlled by hand, but rather, by thought. By manipulating their Reishi make-up, Raiki can force these weapons to keep his foes at bay while he prepares other attacks. They are a good defensive measure as well, for when all four of them group together with their flat ends facing an oncoming attack, they act as one large shield to defend their master from such harm. At other times, he will use them as potent arrows to impale powerful foes several times over. It is his favored Ginto spell because it allows him to fight with both his favored form of combat, archery, while also managing to keep his foe at bay at that same time. Incantation: "Field of day, guide my path. Mountain of night, hide my tracks. Sun of dawn, grant my wish. And star of dusk, bestow upon me, thine will of God!"
Drängen (強 (フォース) Fōsu; Lit. "Force"): Drangen is a unique form of Ginto that is primarily used for fighting multiple enemies at once. By taking the Ginto tube and reciting the proper incantation, Raiki balls the tube into his fist and then thrusts it forward as if he were punching his foe. The tube then releases a great amount of Reishi in the form of a massive energy wave that plows through whatever lies in front of it. Like a tidal wave wiping out an entire village, nothing in front of Drangen is safe from it's maw. As mentioned above, this technique is very useful for taking down a large group of enemies, as the explosion released by this attack's impact can destroy a large portion of the area around it. However, he can still use it to great effect in one on one fights. One of his favored means of executing this spell is to use it when an opponent is getting closer to him. He extends his fist as if he is about to punch them, but they are instead blasted into oblivion with the energy wave that follows the move. Incantation "Push the world harder than it pushes back!"
Wolke (緑杯ヴォルコル, vorukōru; German for "Cloud", Japanese for "Green Cup"): Wolke is a rather simple appearing Ginto spell in the eyes of most. Generally, the spell creates a large blast of concussive energy that is used primarily to cushion one's fall in order to prevent fall damage. However, in the hands of a master like Raiki, Wolke can be used for much more deadlier purposes. Primarily, Raiki forces the blast produced from the Ginto tube as an offensive weapon, using it's great concussive power to send opponent's reeling back at incredible speeds. This blast is not only capable of sending them a great distance away from him, but the sheer force that this blast projects is so powerful, it can break several bones in the foe's body, as well as cause extreme trauma to their muscle systems. With this in mind, Raiki's Wolke attack can break any foe coming within his range that isn't properly prepared for such a forceful attack. This technique also comes in handy to Raiki when an enemy fires a projectile based attack at him. Activating the spell, the concussive blast can actually send the oncoming attack right back at it's source to inflict serious damage. It is one of Raiki's favored spells to use. Incantation: "Tilt the goblet to the west - Wolke!"
Zerfall (崩壊 (ゼーパル), zeparu, Japanese and German for "Decay"): An advanced technique created primarily to disable the abilities of Quincy opponents, and particularly one of Raiki's favorites. Upon drawing a Seele Schneider, Raiki drops the liquid from one of his Ginto tubes onto it's glowing blade, and when it makes contact, the Seele's energy blade is consumed in a black fire. Despite it's appearance, this is not an augmentation of the Seele's brute strength, but rather, an enhancement to it's ability to "shred" the Reishi of an object that it touches and make it easier to absorb. Rather than weaken the energy, the fire created by this spell completely corrodes the Reishi surrounding it, which means that Raiki only uses it as a ranged attack. He can either fire the Seele from his bow, like normal, or he can swing the blade and release the fire as a crescent shaped wave, allowing him to corrode the Reishi surrounding his opponent and rendering their Reishi absorption powers far weaker than normal. He can also merge this ability with his Heiliges Feurer technique, creating a massive field of black fire that makes Reishi absorption for his foe all the more difficult. Incantation: "Empower with the wine of Rasiel"
