Appearance: The male sports messy white hair standing at a shocking six feet and three inches the male towers over some of his shinigami brothers whom linger around. His icy blue eyes seem to be the type that have spent the time rained on by cold hard rain, unable to rely on others for anything. A tattoo of a dragon is located on his right shoulder, the tattoo art work is reasonably well as well for the male's normal stature. Wearing a purple kimono with gold flowers on the right shoulder his other arm hangs out freely. White bandages wrapped around his lower bodies muscles seem to show through the white fabric. His casual dress style is one of the more free one's of the Gotei 13.He let's his left arm rest as his right arm remains free from the fabric's binding. His white messy hair plus the covering over his right eye show the signs that the male is a true warrior, however much like the great 11th Division leader. He only covers his eye because he enjoys the challenge. Chains and shackles are on his form, the shackles are specially designed to hold his spiritual pressure back.

Personality

Blunt: He is very willing to tell a person they suck and to let themselves fall. He isn't a kind of person whom cares enough to hold back his opinion. Riku is very forward and outspoken when he says something he means it and he is blunt to a tee, telling his enemies the problems with their sword style and pointing out what's wrong with the very nature of the sword play they are using. He is a warrior among men whom believes that warriors are the truth and political people are those he would rather avoid dealing with, naps are better then this. His motto is simple fight the strongest and drink the strongest brew and enjoy the drinks of well anything he can honestly. However it never does hide the fact that he has spent his life under a cold hard rain, never being able to depend on others only on himself.

Blood Thirsty: He enjoys combat and seems to love the prospect of combat and of people being able to injury him. The thought of a good battle is on his mind frequently many a warriors have crossed swords with the strong warrior and seen his powers come to pass, things are going to be really fun for him. Riku loves fights and enjoys the more challenging the enemy is he loves it enough that he loses himself in them, this is the one time people see the man smile. Riku enjoys the battles so much that the cold hard look he often has within those eyes disappears when he is in the midst of such a battle field. The field of battle is almost like a drill of pleasure into his soul, something he can absolutely enjoy without equal. Perhaps simply the escape for a man whom has spent his life hounded by the coldness of the world, Riku finds solace that comes form battle against strong warriors. It's one of the few times he feel's alive and ready for the world.

Code of Honor: Despite his rude and sometimes vicious nature, it's known that Riku has a special code of honor that makes him different from most that know him. He won't attack someone from behind because it doesn't suit his beliefs and he believes all battles should be face to face and up front, anyone whom doesn't believe that angers him and causes what some consider his angry form as one of the more scary visions that Riku leaves behind when being dealt with. His code of honor has several rules he lives by making him a strange man, Riku is best described as a simple man whom doesn't really want to be the hero or in the spotlight if he can help it. Strangle enough his genius is something that most people aren't aware of, Riku is one of the smartest people one person could meet. Riku doesn't have an interest in entering the spotlight so often he tries his best to let his Captain shine over himself. As he feels that Wolf has earned the right he is at, Riku is strong but for some reason odd.

Different: Riku is different from his peers, while some are intelligent he has an I.Q that is extremely high but he decides not to use it. This makes him a different person, some people believes it's because he doesn't see a purpose in outshining his Captain in any form. Riku however is a strong warrior something Captain Wolf noticed right away, his skills and sharpness were unable to be hidden by the shadow he bore on his shoulders. Riku is sharp academically and can pick things up fairly quickly as he is capable of picking things up with fair ease when dealing with them. But he would rather sleep and seems to be completely different from most peers that aren't noticed. He plans out things to such a lengthy degree that he knows even what Wolf will do to the next hundred steps, his Captain is predictable he says as he looks. Sleep is something important to him as well so instead of using his gifts he naps over facing his problems of wanting to feel alive.

Relationship

Wolf Lionus : Wolf is someone who noticed the creature that is Riku very quickly, he did however figure out how strong the man was truly. Riku was hiding as simply a member of the Gotei 13, he didn't do much even then. Riku had hoped to simply become a member but he was instead made a Vice Captain for Wolf. Wolf had decided his role a while ago, however Riku made it clear he wouldn't play the hero that role was something that the blood he spilled wouldn't allow him to play. Riku doesn't have a guilt complex as many would think, it's just he accepts the role of Anti-Hero in the story life has given more then anything. Riku doesn't know much about his Captain nor does he care what happens from here on out, but Riku is one of the few weapons Wolf has at the moment whom does seem rather odd to those who have met him. However Riku does acknowledge the role of Anti-Hero and accepts it. Wolf and him have an odd relationship where he gets annoyed at his Captain making him clean up his mess among other Captains.

Passives

Enhanced Strength: Riku has trained relentlessly as a swordsman becoming a fierce warrior who's name is known among as one of the best whom could play. His strength is such that he trained using old methods, once he wore chains wearing over a thousand pounds and would run with them to build up his strength. His strength is naturally extremely strong, he doesn't believe in that nonsense of Kidō at all. Riku's method of fighting is one hundred percent physical so his training on his body has been quite careful to make him into a fine weapon of death. His muscles and body are also trained to negate some Kidō that he comes into contact with. 60% of the effectiveness goes down, however his strength is the topic at hand. Riku has strength that is impressive, so much so that if it's at Adept it's really at Advanced. Making him a powerful and strong Shinigami.

Enhanced Speed: His speed is also impressive because he's trained in combat he's able to follow people faster then him fairly easily. Riku's speed and physical skills are extremely powerful, Riku's speed is one thing that is hard to keep up, with his swings with his sword are extremely talented and it shows signs of the speed and strength working in perfect harmony as he has shown his physical skills are very sharp. Riku's high I.Q has been hidden very well by keeping himself from being seen by people. His Captain Wolf knows of his skills for the most part, but somethings even he kept from the Captain. His speed is extremely good for a guy his size. he's capable of moving at fair speed and keeping up with most people whom attempt to out move him. He surprises those who think him to be a slow towering giant. His speed is while at adept truly at advanced. Riku is known as the Demon of the East despite his rather strange nature he does appear aware of it.

Master Swordsman: The Shimizu Clan spent time training him but before that it could be said he was a prodigy that came once a couple centuries, his swordplay was so good that many believed him to be a true genius. However he hates the word Genius and doesn't accept it, he believes himself to be only an average swordsman but this is because his style of play is untainted and not showing signs of anything else. Riku holds a special power that allows him to be extremely dangerous, it's not a Kidō power nor is it anything like one. Riku has an effortless nature about him that makes him the Strange Bird of the Shimizu clan. Because he desires nothing only to feel alive when fighting on the front lines. His swordplay skills are very well known and as always he shows signs of being an exceptional fighter even among his clan despite his strange style of fighting. But known the less he is a Master of Swordsmanship and of course his skills are deceitful. If Adept he is Master., his skills with Swordplay are up by two.

Master Hakuda: He's shown extremely good skills within the field of hand to hand combat. Capable of doing it with the best of them as shown during his training among the Shimizu whom have taught him the process to fighting people by combining both swordsmanship and hand to hand, his skills within the powers of fighting in the skill level he does. Riku is an exceptionally skilled warrior whom is capable of fighting for long terms. His hand to hand skills are high enough level that he can face down some of the better warriors whom come to challenge him. His captain claims that Riku's hand to hand is very much on par with his own. However their is some room for growth with Riku as many people noticed from his combat skills, the only thing he needs to learn really is control when using his hands without his sword. He has alot of personal growth needed still as a person requiring attention as a person.


Crow Feather: This is a special power that Riku has shown as a skill, he can use the feathers of Crows to do many things. Create portals and do many things, but he claims that he only uses them within his swordsmanship as a warrior whom loves a good fight. Fights that are gory and bloody are the most fun, he enjoys just a no holds fight with nothing but absolute joy with it. He fights like a demon for this reason. Riku has shown a number of strange skills that make him extremely dangerous, he's one of the few who's said to fight without releasing his Zanpakutō because it brings him joy. His strength is enough to swing the Nodachi blade with relative ease. Riku loves a good fight sometimes he'll fight more then one enemy just for the joy of it. The feathers created can be anywhere from one to hundred given his powers over the black feathers. He claims sometimes that the Angels have come to watch someone die, this is only the reason why he's capable of such death.

70% Energy Immunity: Riku has trained against Kidō and energy tirelessly as he has been bound over a thousand times and figured out finally that the weak points of where to apply strength. Riku has no real knowledge in Kidō nor does this make him better. It simply state's that he is familiar enough with them up to 89 as he hasn't come across Kidō masters capable of the level 90 kidos. He's heard about them but never experienced them, seventy percent of the damage is negated as he's learned how to absorb the impact of the Kidō or just simply over power them depending on his tier. This allows him to overcome most energy based attacks. Making him an extremely capable fighter, he's been called the Demon of the East repeatably by most people. Riku's strength is something the Gotei 13 will use in full swing now that they have captured it. His power to over come Kidō with sheer power and aggression make him a capable fighter whom is hard to fight.

Swordsmanship

Tengu Blade: This is a special style developed by Riku using the crow feathers to fight, he is capable of creating up to a hundred a swing. These feathers act as blades and are capable of using the power he generate's into strong swings that are capable of causing massive damage to those whom fight him. These feathers simply are like more blades that are summoned and used in this aspect. Many find it strange that the male is capable of using the black wings of death in such a way. The feathers are simply something he can create only when he desires, however Riku's personality makes him unpredictable and hard to figure out when fighting. As he rarely likes to fight using his full strength so people can see what is going to come. Riku is known to avoid using the Black Feathers when he can but his destructive capabilities are only fathomed by even his own Captain and the others whom know him well enough. Riku's fierce nature makes him a strong and to a certain degree dangerous fighter.

Destruction Blade: Due to the sheer force he can create with one arm he developed a style using both arms, he is capable of destroying entire city street's with each swing of his Zanpakutō just with both arms. This makes the destructive force he generate's extremely dangerous. He's shown to be capable of cutting straight through Hierro like a knife through butter, the strength shown by him is rather ruthless and to some extent dangerous for those who under estimate the tall male's strength and speed. He normally only uses one arm as two creates a problem. But if he doesn't feel the need to hold back against an enemy. He will fight unrestrained and show little to no mercy to the environment that once stood. Despite his nature Riku simply believes in existing for the sheer thrill of feeling alive as he despises to feel that lack of meaning. The only time he finds completion is when fighting strong enemies.

Equipment

Spirit Chains: These are designed to restrain the monster pressure this man has, they bring him down and make him a far weaker being to some extent. Some believe he took a note from some others who liked to hold back so they could experience the joy of a great fight. These chains allow him to hold back a great deal till they are removed, his pressure is said to be so intense that some people have fallen down and felt their bodies almost break from the pressure though these were weaklings whom didn't deserve to see the light that he held under wraps. Riku doesn't believe in trickery or hiding his strength from anyone. The only thing he does not like showing is his Zanpakutō's powers despite being extremely well versed in the use of the weapon, he does show signs of hesitation in the use of the weapon. This has made him a very dangerous and strong warrior in some aspects that even others cannot reach completely.

Zanpakutō Appearance: Amateratsu takes the form of a woman covered in black energy, her expression is often empty. But something darker exists with this woman. It's partly the fact the Riku doesn't utilize the power she offers him that seems to upset her. But someday the two seem to acknowledge one another as strong. Someone could call the relationship rather unstable, but given Riku's nature it's very stable for the most part. Things have been worse for the two this much can be seen clearly for those whom wish to see it. Riku's been called one of the more complex people that someone can meet. His nature and way of doing things are far more dangerous then people realize. Fighting him and Amateratsu as a team is a dangerous and sometimes very fatal idea that could cost many people their lives if they aren't careful. Despite lacking a bankai to speak of just yet. Riku has shown a fierce nature without it only needing his shikai to get by as a warrior. This makes him perhaps one of the few fighters that are around capable of using his shikai in a manner that's fiercer then most would expect.

Shikai Information

Zanpakutō Shikai Powers: Riku's sword takes the power of creating games within an 100 yard radius making them extremely dangerous for those whom happen to be in the area. The games have two rules are that inflicted on both Riku and those whom happen to be within the area. Riku's sword's first rule is healing will not work from wounds the games inflict. So those whom fancy themselves regeneration are unable to access it for the time that the Shikai is in effect. If they manage to escape from the effects of Riku's shikai they are more then capable of healing outside the 100 yard radius. The second rule is rather simple and one that can be considered rather annoying to it. Armor and defense mean nothing to it for either party, Riku's Zanpakutō does not care if someone's skin is thick it will cut it. Amateratsu believes in fair play so it will make Riku play fairly as well. Despite the fact that Riku despises using his Zanpakutō he is capable of doing so. These are the powers that people should be aware of, games are listed below.

Red Light, Green Light: This is one game that starts off, it's considered one of the harder ones to handle as it's rather dangerous for both parties or all whom enter into the game's field. The field is not effected by environment so moving it to the void or other realms has no effect on it at all. The area will turn green for when people are to move, standing still during green light will earn a player of the game a single cut, the cut will be a normal sword slash. Riku himself has been cut by this over seventy-six times before he began understanding it. The second cut is a near fatal injury, as the blade will take an arm off or cut deep into the body next. This has happened to Riku a number of times as well causing the game to be one he notices. The light when it turns red means to stop movement all together, those within the radius stop moving or they are sliced.

As previously stated those wounded by the games will not be able to heal the injury or use defenses as a means around the game's rules. Riku most play them as well, despite his lack of desire to even want to use his Zanpakutō. The Red Light, Green Light game, is merely the first many games that RIku has and uses when his Zanpakutō is active. The games can be considered at times very annoying and to some degree extremely deadly, these cause massive damage and make the fight extremely hard on those around Riku. It's believed he killed people using just his zanpaktuo at times in this form. But as stated before this game and the others are extremely dangerous to play, only a couple are optional for Riku to play. The rest are all forced upon like a plague that he cannot escape from despite his attempts. This game is one of many, few have seen the true fierce nature his Zanpakutō brings to the table when it's decided he'll fight for what he believes in. Red Light, Green Light, will come calling for those who aren't properly prepared.

Russian Roulette: This is an optional game that Riku can chose to play, this game has a 50/50 chance of doing 50% damage to an enemy that will not heal till the end of the Shikai that is being played. The games for this Zanpakutō are considered dangerous, for Russian Roulette a coin is flipped when Riku points his fingers at a body part of an enemy. He can aim for the head or anything. This game cannot inflict a fatal injury, but will inflict damage on Riku or the target depending on the results of the coin flip. However Riku must optionally open this game up, he doesn't get an advantage of any sort unless luck happens to be on his side that day. However the target's area aimed at is what will be damaged should Riku fail to do so. This game is again optional to Riku should he feel it's needed to put down an enemy. He rarely uses this as he claims his luck isn't all that grand when it comes down to it.

Red Robin: This game is random and those whom are forced to play it are chosen to be it. The one whom is made it suffers the damage for all players that are in the area, this is done by each player getting a number and the random number being selected for those in the area. This game lasts only ten turns, so the more damage inflicted in ten turns to other people it comes back to bite others in the area. The damage inflicted is caused by the person being it, however as previously stated this game is one of many that is optional for RIku to activate if he likes or not. Much like Russian Roulette which is another game where it all comes down to luck, Riku's Shikai is considered one of the more dangerous ones to those whom have seen it. He doesn't like using it however and when he can avoid it he will. This has made the male well known around most of the Gotei 13 for the nature he holds. This game much like the others are things rarely seen for those whom do get the honor.

Capture the Flag: This game is dangerous beyond reason, the damage goes up and is evened out so each person performs the same damage as though within the area. This is the very last game, it will be highly dangerous for those in the area dealing with the frightening damage increase. Those whom can't take the pain simply fall over and fail to accomplish anything of note. This game is the final Game Riku uses when it comes time to end the brawl against someone. Riku's last game is known to cause severe damage to those unable to take the pain. Riku has never lost this game perhaps due to the fact he loves pain and loves the sweet release that comes from it. However he believes someday he'll meet one capable of feeling the same amount of pain that he does and enjoying it equally. But for now no such creature exists in the worlds realms that he has encountered. Capture the Flag has only been played twice and Riku required surgery last time from the amount of damages done.

Born upon the day mortals know as Halloween, was born a dark child with amazing strength and power. His parents themselves fearful of the babies nature threw him into a district similar to the Zaraki district. The place was of constant bloodshed, some of the finest swordsman had come there to train and died. The district's name translated roughly to blade. It was something that many of the Eastern area were proud of. People died here like in flocks of two, three at a time. The jobs in the area were known, bodies were found on the grounds almost every single day. As a toddler much like some other kids, he was thrown in and told live or die. It's your choice, his parents didn't want a monster like him. Even at a young age, he had an extremely powerful Spiritual pressure. Sometimes he could knock out enemies who were at an academy level. He would get in fights with numbers beyond the amount he could handle on his own. Getting cut up and bleeding on several parts of his body. He was smiling every moment as a boy they said he had the devils endurance. His body had a built up resistance to Kidō attacks of some levels. Depending on the user, they were smacked aside or simply broken off. His body is built like a tank even at a young age, his body is like hitting a solid wall. Some people had broken knuckles and other bones on his form. He'd even had people cut themselves from time to time. His hardest fight was against twenty men as a boy. He killed several but got a scar on his leg from it.

He would go down and rise time and time again. It was like he didn't know how to die or stay down. Riku was called the Demon of the East, for his lack of dying even from injuries that most men would of fallen too. The boy fought and killed all 20, his body covered in blood and a smile that seemed so sickening that the damned souls themselves were choking. He stood laughing, laughing as though he'd found the thing that would keep him alive. The feeling of battle and bleeding against enemies, this was the thing he would devote himself too. Who needed companionship, who needed these damned emotions people went on about? They were pointless as was education about writing and stupid things like that. He as a boy never once went to school, he went out and fought for days. This was the life of a boy growing up, battle was his school. He fought and fought against countless swordsman and other such enemies. Growing up out on that field of battle. His body could take large amounts of punishment that most couldn't, this was what made him what he was.


Time went by the boy became a man, he'd grown greatly spending his days fighting. He'd gotten his education was hard knocks. Those were the way life would go for him, deciding he was done with the town known as blade. He traveled to the place people called the baddest place in the Rukongai. He remained their as a teen, killing up to 30 people a day in absolute carnage. The battles were wonderful training, his sadistic nature of holding back began to show. He would do little things, wear an eye path and swing with one arm. Deciding he wouldn't fight at one percent. He even went far as to try and find means to suppress his . He wanted a challenge, something fun and entertaining. He could talk like most, but didn't understand concepts that other people did. The wild teen wasn't willing to slow down at all, he soon suffered his first loss. This only drove him to seek greater strength then before, power was something he was hungry for. Having put in the work for it, he taught himself Shikai. He was young when he obtained it, only 300 years old.

Having gotten his swords shikai he was almost disappointed. His sword and he were far apart. They didn't like one another alot, they both never really seemed to caring about the subject of his sword's powers. They had been something he'd thought would be a greater help to him. But it appeared that he had no choice but to focus on himself alone. He wasn't sure why, but things seemed to go this way all the time for him. He wasn't bothered much by it, just another thing to hold back. He wouldn't use his shikai ever if he could help it. But he began to ponder things about stages beyond the shikai. Though deciding he wouldn't train it, he walked away from the training that offered. As a warrior he lived by a code and that's how he was. He killed and ate, he didn't care about much. Children were his draw limit, he'd killed women. For they were as dangerous as men, sometimes even more so. The skies were always red here he thought sometimes, but it was time to leave this location.

Moving on he'd advanced into younger age, becoming a young adult. He wasn't a refined swordsman who believed in traditions or anything like that. He'd been learning ways to use his large reiatsu as he was. He'd had few friends, many told him never to use his bankai in a crowd. He didn't care if everyone died himself. His Zanpakutō was among the rare ones that didn't care if the user was effected. In fact the sword seemed eager to push him into at times. He never did learn the word can't, this word is something he doesn't believe. Fear is another one he learned never to believe in either. He left Zeraki after several years of training there. Going out to train for bankai now, he knew he could get that power. His sword had been teasing him that strength was there. He wasn't moved by this, he trained for the next several hundred years. Working for his next upgrade, training ruthlessly for this bankai. He didn't know the emotional attachment people were so clinging too. People with swords were people he could fight, though he'd attacked several people with them from the Gotei 13 before.

He killed them as well, he didn't care about them or their weak powers. He wasn't here for weaklings, they deserved to die. That was the end of the discussion. He's been said to wander the lands seeking worthy foes. Fighting with whomever and whatever he finds, his brutality is known both among friends and enemies. Battle is his life and that is how it shall remain till someone changes his destiny. Due to his hate of his Zanpakutō's powers he has for some reason locked away it's powers and cannot access them at the moment. He has been switched around the Gotei 13, making him a rather known male who only sleeps these days. His power is stronger then what one would expect from someone only capable of Shikai.
