At a glance Chizuru seems up to the same antics, although the flamboyant immature lesbo that she flaunted in her youth has become a confident and mature lady but the underlying attention she spends on sex appeal is entirely intact to the point she has earned an infamous reputation for reading erotic manga and novels while teaching classes or running exams during her tenor in the Shino Academy or subtle behaviour such as Tatsuki noting that she hasn't needed to wear glasses in centuries but continues to do so because she thinks it makes her look hotter.

Despite this aloof behaviour Chizuru can back up a lot of it with merit, she is an exceptionally talented individual and has dedicated herself towards her own improvement, initially for the sake of wanting to protect Karakura Town in her youth but overtime finding new purposes to dedicate herself too after such a goal became redudant with the onset of a greater generation than her own and it turning into a hub of activity.

She has become quite at home in her new environment though, putting her perverted behaviour to good use and making a name for herself. She adores the attention she receives by creating erotic novels to publish much to the stain it plays on her reputation, it would be apt to say though that she feeds on this attention for any publicity is good publicity and that drives her to keep up that extra shock factor she always provided in her youth.

Contrary to this behaviour though, Chizuru is mature when she needs to be. Quite popular for her work into integrating vizards into the Gotei United and has become something of a tutor for helping to assist in getting hollowfication risks under control by training and growing the vizards' control over it.


Compared to all her friends, Chizuru was the among the least spiritually attuned. It was a life-changing thing to be exposed to it after she received all the understanding she could from Tatsuki. What shinigami were, the existence of hollows and that her friend group was submersed in the whole thing without her ever being aware. When she learned it was a wake-up call and no small amount of shock for her to process it but she had friends. She had Tatsuki and the others to support her after everything changed.

If she didn't, she likes to think that she'd have surely ended up in a looney house.

At the same time, Chizuru was happy to not be involved in it and wanted her friends to remain out of the dangerous situations. It was the cause of a lot of arguments when Ender's attack happened, the group of her friends running off and putting their lives in danger while she watched from the sidelines. They shouldn't, it wasn't their job to handle these kinds of things and she didn't understand why, why did they run headfirst into this danger? Weren't they scared? Weren't they worried about not going home at the end of it? It was not their job.

Because they wanted to. Because it was their home, their families and friends in Karakura Town that were on the line. It was a touching moment which changed her outlook. She wanted to protect her home and her friends rather than watching from the sidelines.

She was never the best substitute shinigami though and of all the others she took the longest, something reflected to this day really. Despite her proficency in some areas of the Zankensoki, she is still lacking in others and having to endeavour to keep trying to improve but she never fell out with support. She and Tatsuki found familiarity with developing Fullbring abilities and while they helped her improve greatly during her time they were not to last.

It was during WW3, and the clash with the Kokuryuteshi that Chizuru lost her Fullbring abilities to an enemy, having them stolen by another Fullbringer and having to utilise her zanpakuto to be able to come out on top. Besides normal hollows it was the first time that she had actually really won against someone who was an enemy non-hollow entity, an actual person and it was terrifying to come to terms with having killed another person like this.

Said victory was short-lived though when her group that she was dispatched with to do a scouting mission with was ambushed and taken prisoners, most of them going through an experimental hollowfication process with little success rate, the only reason she survived being due to her affinity for the hollow reiryoku after exceptional exposure and her prior status as a Fullbringer. Her inner-hollow was quite weak though and unable to exert any influence, so much so that she was able to pass as a shinigami when she was bailed out through a rescue, it shook her confidence though and made her stressed about being punished for having acquired hollow powers as a shinigami.

This event did see her sidelined for the rest of the war effort, for the best with her wavering confidence in her own abilities and underlying fears of being a vizard. Unable to even reach out to Ichigo to help her handle this change or even her princess to try and reverse the effects after the two of them were lost in the war.

Chizuru took a more reserved approach after this, her development of her shinigami and combat abilities being maintained but not improved while she had growing concerns about her vizard status. Would it take over? Would she be consumed by it? Hurt those around her and become a monster? She spent more time on Earth, accepting a position of being based in Karakura Central for a familiar and far safer place which kept her out of action.

It was about this time which she got wrapped up with the Vizards, or whatever was left of them. Not the Vizard Corps since that was too obvious a pick, the original group which remained after the Aizen conflict. They were very helpful, giving her a chance to actually come to terms with herself and find that confidence which had been lost to her. To own her status rather than recoil from it.

They taught her a lot, helped her through this tough time and she became good friends with them - particularly Lisa who shared a common interest in the female form by their shared media and style of fighting which was provactive and exposing in nature.

After this time she returned to the Gotei, confessed everything to Tatsuki who had become her closest friend by this point and what she had been going through to prompt her to take the position as the Shinigami overseeing Karakura. It was a hard thing to do, to just tell that to another person and get it off her chest when they both belonged to the Gotei Thirteen.

During it's reformation and the organisation being more isolated, it became a lot more difficult for her however they had begun to accept vizard and allowed her to show her true colours. She was never the best shinigami but she was a pretty good vizard; it gave her the opportunity to take a leadership role for all those other struggling vizards that were becoming more common with the new climate of the world. It was where she became Ms. Crane and Ero-sensei.

The former as her pseudonym for what was a very popular penname of an author who was garnering a lot of attention for her erotic material featuring girl on girl romance and the overal erotic nature of her character combined with her teacher status which made her earn the nickname that she took in stride and made her own.


» High Reiryoku: Due to her status as a vizard, her spiritual pressure is higher than a normal shinigami and only increases when she dons her mask. Her reiatsu is a pink colour, usually indistinct from that of a shinigami as long as she is not using her vizard abilities although it gains a mixed-hue of purple and pink when she is wearing her hollow mask. Chizuru's spiritual power is high enough that she could qualify for a reasonably high position although due to her body's habit of augmenting her body innately, it is actually difficult to determine the true scope of her own spiritual pressure.

» Innate Augmentation: Due to her body absorbing a lot of her reiatsu to strengthen itself, Chizuru demonstrates the upper ends of what her body could be capable of. The purpose of this though is that it releases her power upon coming into contact with a target, making her hits almost explosive due to the fact that contact triggers her energy to rush into the target and augment the already applied force.

» Hand-to-Hand Specialist: It started as a joke but became the basis of her fighting style, Chizuru's Hakuda and Hoho are by far her best qualities and for all the wrong reasons due to when she started honing her shinigami abilities and trying to use hoho to perfect a flash step to not give a chance to let pretty girls get away and then her Hakuda to have the perfect hold. While it always lead to clashes with Tatsuki over the treatment, Chizuru's abilities with these two fields are not to be mocked.

She is able to demonstrate advanced techniques such as the Oni Dekopin and utilise difficult moves, in addition she uses her own mixture of Hakuda and Hoho in her unique fighting style which is noted to be quite provacative and jarring for some opponents as its unpredictable and plays dirty by going for sensitive areas or exposing them in the moment for a leg up.

» Kido Practioner: She is able to cast a plethora of kido however primarily for utility rather than any kind of offense, an example of this is that she will utilise Hadō spells for supplementary reasons rather than outrght attacks such as her Sokatsui being used as a bright light or spread it around her in a wall rather than thrown as a simple fireball.


» Zanpakuto Name: Yamawaru (山笑う, Laughing Mountain).

» Spirit Summary: Yamawaru takes the form of a large dragon, she is very prideful and greedy. She behaves like a spoilt brat and expects everything to revolve around her. At her core though, it is an insecure zanpakuto which views material goods as a way to make confidence.

» Inner-World: It's a mountain, surrounded by a village. The village looks middle-classed and reasonably wealthy but within the mountain is a horde of treasure that would befit a dragon's lair.

» Sealed Appearance: It's a above average katana in length, it has a gold cloth around the handle and a six pointed star tsuba. The sheathe has golden ornate star print down it. At the bottom of the sheathe is a chain.

» Sealed Ability: By taking the sheathe and spinning it by the chain, Yamawaru can generate a reasonably strong barrier in the direction of the spinning sheathe. The barrier will stop the moment the sheathe stops spinning, this barrier can block incoming damage up to the level of her zanjutsu skill.

» Shikai Appearance: Yamawaru's shikai causes the blade to take on the form of an oversized sword with a long chain attached to the base that allows for it to be used as a flail if the user desires.

» Shikai Ability: Yamawaru could initially be mistaken for a melee-type zanpakuto, its oversized form makes it incredibly powerful to swing and crush opponents with raw power but its physical aspects are only a side of its potency, its user could feasibly release the zanpakuto under a secondary release phrase or alternate name if they desired to make it completely function as a melee zanpakuto to conceal its true nature.

The true nature of Yamawaru however is tied to its singing, as the sword is swung it makes a screeching sound, typically this is done through either swinging it or spinning it on the chain. Those that hear the sound of this zanpakuto fall under an illusion that alters their perception of sound, causing all sounds to simply sound as laughter. Someone with higher focus or mental perception could naturally notice the issue, join the dots and realise but even so it can be difficult to deal with when one cannot tell whether the sounds coming from an opponent's mouth are an incantation or simple taunting on their part.

Weaknesses:

Large: Yamawaru is cumbersome, not hard to wield as it is weightless for its wielder to use but its size will make it hard to use it tight spaces.
Skill: Using it as a ranged weapon requires a lot of skill on its wielder's part.
Hearing-based: The illusions require that people hear the sound made by the shikai, people that are deaf or had damage to their ears which prevented them from hearing the sound of Yamawaru would be immune to the sensory alterations.
Illusion Counter: Yamawaru's illusion of changing all the sounds to laughter only applies whenever the blade is in motion, this is because of many microscopic holes along the blade that pass air through it. Because of this if one were to clog up the blade's tiny holes or prevent the sword from moving then the illusions wouldn't be able to materialise.
Allies: It affects allies as well.

» Inner-Hollow Summary: The inner-hollow of Chizuru is an experimental hollow which is born by machinations of K-World. She refers to it as 'Smokescreen' due to the fact that it constantly emits a smoke-like substance from its body and obscures itself from sight to try and throw its prey into disarray. It displays limited intelligence and acts mostly on instinct, an overall primitive attitude which she finds makes it easier to control but difficult to communicate with and develop it.

» Mask Summary: Her hollow mask is strikingly similar to the mask of the hollow, Numb Chandelier. However this may be entirely due to being influenced by the prior encounter with the hollow mixing with her process of Hollowfication and subconscious memories to produce it. This is complete with ribbon-like protrusions which run down the back of her head and mix with her hair.

» Vizard Powers: A powerful vizard, Chizuru is able to hold her vizard mask relatively well. As long as she is not in combat, she can maintain it for six-hours though this is drastically lower when in a fight to the point where she will only don her mask to perform a single attack and then remove it to save time essentially using it for a quick burst of power and then stashing it for when it's required.

» Enhanced Physical Condition: When she dons her mask, Chizuru sees a drastic increase in her physical abilities. Her Hakuda can devestate entire areas with a single punch when combined with the amount of power increase that she gets by wearing her mask, she is able to survive far greater amounts of trauma to her body and with the increase of speed there is the possibility of reacting to things with next to no time or doing feats such as catching an opponent's attack with her fingers.

» Cero: Much like her kido, she can utilise her hollow mask to perform cero but is not very keen on it. Usually she will generate a cero in conjunction with her blows such as manifesting a cero in her hand and punching into a target to soften down the defences and let it explode afterwards to follow up. She has no unique applications of this besides what can be defined as "regular cero" however.

» Kūmon: A hollow technique which is the only thing she's shown besides generic techniques that vizards can display as the kind of individual that views simplicity and potency over a bunch of fancy tricks. Kūmon is a variation of Garganta where she is able to don her hollow mask, create a tear in space to Hueco Mundo for a brief moment. She can utilise this defensively if she means to try and send an opponent that's charging her to the land of hollows, a blast of energy or something to that effect. Chizuru prefers to utilise it as a means of travel though and with the guidance of a Hell Butterfly, she is even able to use this to navigate to Soul Society.


» Hollowfication Bait: A training pill that used for training vizards, essentially causing them to hollowfy and be forced to confront the threat of hollowification, ideally to gain a greater sense of control. She could hypothetically force this down an enemy vizard's mouth and cause them to hollowfy - though it would only be successful against people with low Hollow Control.

» Tenkyotai [転虚体, Change Hollow Body]: A variation of the Tenshintai that was created by Kisuke Urahara for the purpose of training towards Bankai, it works by forcefully materialising the zanpakuto spirit into the real world rather than needing to train to do so which would take far too long. The premise is the exact same except that it draws out a person's inner-hollow and manifests them. Chizuru is able to use this to help vizards develop hollow control, develop their powers and gain a greater understanding of hollowfication; or in extreme cases she is able to use it to kill their inner-hollow as it draws out every bit of the hollow reishi inside their soul and returns after use. If something were to destroy the hollow in full, then it would leave nothing to return to their soul.

» Sexy Sexy Gigai: A gigai which she uses for extended periods when she is in the human world, while it's name is incredibly provactive there is very little that it's name has to do with the piece of equipment itself. It is with unique properties however, allowing for her to utilise her ring finger and press it against a vizard's forehead which creates a bridge to allow her to exert her hollow control onto the target although it only works if the target has no control of themselves to begin with. Additionally, she is substantially weaker while operating in this gigai than her spiritual form.

Unlike other gigai, she can immediately cast it off and reform it as required after a fight has begun. The body turning into a fancy sparkle effect to reveal her battle-ready at a moments notice and protecting it from getting damaged in a fight.

» Sexy Sexy Battlesuit: Since taking a more backseat role with the Gotei, she does not restrict herself to wearing the shihakusho and prefers to make use of a skintight battlesuit which matches her hair. The suit is designed to absorb incoming kinetic energy, absorb it and then release it to bolster her hakuda fighting style. At the highest level when combined with her strength and hakuda she could theoretically destroy an entire town by releasing it all in the correct way - however, the suit does not have much in durability and so while it is designed to take some punishment a person of far greater strength than Chizuru would likely break it before this point.

» Sexy Sexy Glasses: The glasses that she wears outside of combat, designed to add an extra layer onto her reikaku. However their purpose is more specific, it is formerly designed to be used by undercover shinigami to determine gigai usage and track down defectors or rogues. She uses them for much the same but got the SRDI to adjust them to instead make it easier to track down vizards and help her with her job. She has two pairs, a red one which is nostalgic and the black one which is sexy x2.

Back at it again, Chizuru sat behind her desk. Chewing the gum that she had in her mouth idly as a page flipped past, wasn't it just steamy to think about two girls doing it? Teehee. Her class were in the middle of their exam, it wasn't all hands on with vizard training. At least not with ero-sensei herself. She had to make sure that they knew the theory behind it and the fundamental attributes of hollows, how hollowfication affected their souls now that they were changed. It was a small group but she was fond of everyone that came under her wings, 'specially the girls.

Another flick of her page and a cheeky glance up to the young vizards with a faint grin.

"No peeking at others' tests, you don't wanna be punished do you?"

She said it with her usual playfulness that failed to clarify if she was kidding or not, how might a lady with the name ero-sensei punish her students? Oh my. Their imaginations were probably running wild at that one. She had to keep her composure and stiffle what might've been a chortle.

Back to her book, she'd finish the whole thing by the time this exam was over but until then she was happy to indulge herself to the appreciation of such a precious romance and all the rauchy bits. Her day was planned, get the kids to prove that they knew what they were dealing with by being a hollowfied shinigami, finish "Adventures of a Maiden: Passionate Heat" and then catch up with Tatsuki for afternoon tea. What'd she wear? Something salacious, maybe Tatsuki would fall head over heels for her in a passionate daze with alcohol and want to role-play out some of the scenes in this book.
